I cannot configure my email on my Blackberry 9810 Torch. When reenicio my phone, a message appears that says:

I got a new Blackberry, the 9360, not over 24hours and i got this error ''Uncaught exception:Missing resource net.rim.device.apps.internal.bis.resource.BISClient''i dont know how to deal with it, but i get this everytime i reboot the device.

It is giving me an error message that my username or password are wrong. I tried several times but it keeps on failing. I am sure I am entering correct username and passord. Several other friends have the same domain configured well on previous versions of BB (Torch or Bold)!I need to add information about the POP port number and SSL encrypted connection so that I can extract the emails through phone. but I am not being able to do that on my torch.

When it finished the restart, the screen saver came up normally, but the touch screen just quit working. I know there are issues w/Torch TS. Just thought perhaps it malfunctioned because I deleted my email account.

I use Outlook on my laptop and want all my email aggregated there (I remove from server when I pull it there). I was under the impression that BB always left mail on the server and I cannot find a setting anywhere to make me beleive otherwise. Also, this is not mail that I have deleted on my handheld, it is still in BB inbox - just not popping into my desktop as it should if it were still on the server.

View 6 Replies View Relatedopying contacts from a Bold 9810 to another 9810.Using the BB Desktop Software I did a full backup of the device (which contained 400+ contacts), then did a full restore on a new 9810, but only 200 contacts were copied over.Next I tried to do a selective restore, but although the 400+ contacts were in the file, it was grayed out and could not be selected. How can I get all the contacts into the new 9810. (Side note: I was able to restore the 400+ contacts to a BB Bold).

I had my phone unlocked from my portuguese operator so i could use it in Peru. When i got here i boght a sim card from a peruvian operator and everything was fine for the 2 fisrt months and now i haven't received emails since the 9th april and i've already reseted the phone and nothing. The thing is when i go to set up an email account, happens two differente things: sometimes i only can choose the option create an email acount by an entreprise server....and i don't have that...so i go to the option creat an email account and nothing happens...it just stays there like i haven't pressed that option....and there are days that i can't even get in the option email accounts....
how is this possible? everything was going fine...there's no reason for this to be happening.. and my operator in peru says they can't do anything because it's a handicap from the cell phone..

Even though I'm connected to internet on wifi, when I go to the e-mail configuration area, it tells me that, "even though the mobile web is activated, I'm noy in a wireless zone". The BB proposed an update of this application and I accepted.As far as I remember, during the update process, I was proposed to replace the email app by a "setup_email..." app or a stuff like that.Now, I can't set up any email account because the terminal bugs when I try to open the email set up function.Then, the screen is blocked and I'm forced to shut down the terminal with the on/off button.I already tried to update the whole OS from 5 to 6.0.0.576 with BB Desktop Manager but the problem remains.For your information, and if it may help, I just see that the email setup application (6.11.0419.0755) is located after the games in the application list of the BB Desktop Manager.
