View 1 RepliesI keep getting the message "SIM card full please delete SMS messages". I've gone into options under TEXT messages and there is no option to check or uncheck "save on SIM card. I've had this issue since I bought the 9810. I did not have the same issue with the 9800 that I had before.

I tried to look in:
-> messages
->-> options
->->-> email preferences
but could not find a "send email" option??
I was having trouble w/the email address I assigned my blackberry, so I deleted it, and did a battery pull. When it finished the restart, the screen saver came up normally, but the touch screen just quit working. I know there are issues w/Torch TS. Just thought perhaps it malfunctioned because I deleted my email account.
View 3 Replies View RelatedJust recently, my 9810 stopped leaving email on my server. I am using a POP 3 server through AT&T. I use Outlook on my laptop and want all my email aggregated there (I remove from server when I pull it there). I was under the impression that BB always left mail on the server and I cannot find a setting anywhere to make me beleive otherwise. Also, this is not mail that I have deleted on my handheld, it is still in BB inbox - just not popping into my desktop as it should if it were still on the server.

opying contacts from a Bold 9810 to another 9810.Using the BB Desktop Software I did a full backup of the device (which contained 400+ contacts), then did a full restore on a new 9810, but only 200 contacts were copied over.Next I tried to do a selective restore, but although the 400+ contacts were in the file, it was grayed out and could not be selected. How can I get all the contacts into the new 9810. (Side note: I was able to restore the 400+ contacts to a BB Bold).
View 1 Replies View Relatedi changed the sim card in my unlocked BB Torch from Vodafone UK to Bouygues and when it booted up the email application failed to work. After several reboots and changing the sim back, the email now works but i was hoping to be able to use several sim cards with this phone as i travel a lot and this seems difficult or impossible.

I then tried doing it from the handset via options and again says phone software up to date. I am using os 6 but cant work out why it wont let me update to 7.1

There is a Reset button below that and when I press it, it just tries to restart my blackberry. It will load to a certain point and then come back to this Error message. I went to the website it suggests and it tells me to go onto my Blackberry Desktop Manager and reload my software. I tried to do this, but my Desktop Manager and my smart phone will not connect and so I can't reload my software.

1- The big screen.
2- The touch screen with the sliding keyboard.
3- Latest OS.
As I watched and read so many reviews about it and compared it to the Bold 9900 and the Torch 9860. The reviews for the Torch 9860 were somehow negative, and the sliding keyboard was a win over the Torch 9860. Bold seemed to be a good phone but the bigger screen was again what made me go for the Torch 9810.
For a new Blackberry user like me, I couldn't really figure out much differences between the three phones.
Unfortunately the Torch 9810 is not yet here in Egyptian market and I was about to buy a Bold 9900 till I noticed it would be locked to my carrier and then I changed my mind. I asked a family member to buy the Torch 9810 for me from the UAE and I finally got it one week ago.

View 7 Replies View RelatedMy brand New Tourch 9810 keeps on freezing up - I have to take the battery out in order to get it working again - I can not get onto Facebook, my BBM's doesnt go through, Sms' doesnt go through and when I tried to make a call it says - Call failed. I can not receive calls either - it goes straight to voicemail.
I can not send pics via BBM either - although it show send on my side - the receiver never gets them.
I really like Blackberry but are so frustrated that I want to get another make of phone!
I have a 9810 from ATT with OS 7.0 , when I tried to update OS to 7.1 using BB Desktop software , there is no 7.1 version available. The only update available is a higher version of 7.0. What should I do to get OS 7.1 ?
