Feb 10, 2012My blackberry torch 9860 works but the screen is black. ive done a battery pull and have had it out for about half an hour at the most and put it back in...as soon as i put it back in a tiny hourglass shows on the screen then goes away and the scren stays black....how do i fix this!!

Jun 15, 2011hi my blackberry torch won't start up. i downloaded the new blackberry messenger after installing the latest update. It asked me for a reboot and then all of a sudden my blackberry won't start up. If i run it in safe mode i see battery charging for about 10 seconds and then battery with a red cross in the middle all over again.

Nov 10, 2012Since around 2 weeks I have a Torch 9860. Yesterday evening, when I was not using the device the Torch suddenly stopped functioning. When I turned it on again it said it was setting up but it didn't do anything. So after a few minutes I turned it off and on again but now it didn't react at all (so screen stays black, no button lightens up etc.). I can't get it turned on again, not even when I removed the battery for a few minutes. I also tried to charge it again as I wanted to be sure the battery was charged but this doesn't work either.

Our iPad Air 2 does too, and also allows 360' or rotation if we need a different position. I have always hated the fact that LG put the headphone jack at the bottom of the G4, and no 360" rotation...what's a good, basic, screen rotation app? I find the stock Android rotation works fine, just would like the screen to display with the bottom on top.

Aug 17, 2011I can't get the screen to lock when I press the button on the top of the phone. When pressed, the screen goes off but then half a second later it lights up again and is unlocked. I have acquired a pattern lock to save pressing buttons when the phone is in my pocket but the screen remains lit up and is consequently draining the battery. There isn't any damage to that corner of the phone so I doubt the button is the problem.

Apr 18, 2015I've seen this at the Galaxy S6 Edge forum. But no-one seems to have a 'normal' S6 128GB with the same problem except me (so far).
What I've done so far:
-Checked that the button for Screen Rotation was ON
-Safe mode to see if a third party app was interfering with the programming
-Factory reset
None worked, my screen still won't rotate. It's stuck in portrait mode. I opened up the package with my phone this morning. It worked fine in the beginning. But no longer.
