How do i prevent the screen of nokia n97 to rotate and get to portrait mode when there is incoming call and during call?i on the rotation sensor so that when the phone goes horizontal the screen rotate horizontal and when it goes vertical the screen rotate vertical but screen doesn't automatically return to portrait mode if it was in landscape mode when there is an incoming call. And when i take the phone vertically to slide and answer at the same time screen trying to rotate to portrait mode and the touch screen or the phone can just freeze making me not to be able to answer the call.Is there a way to fix this issues? i've missed a lot of incoming call because of this issue. Was nokia trying to imitate the iPhone making the rotation sensor? then they should make it better by providing updates for it cause it's very irritating. Main while anyone know how to get this solve?
View 5 Replies View RelatedMy old iPod has the headphone jack at the top and always seems like it's in the right place for whatever I do with it. Our iPad Air 2 does too, and also allows 360' or rotation if we need a different position. I have always hated the fact that LG put the headphone jack at the bottom of the G4, and no 360" rotation...what's a good, basic, screen rotation app? I find the stock Android rotation works fine, just would like the screen to display with the bottom on top.

View 2 Replies View RelatedI received my galaxy s6 yesterday and everything was fine. Today my screen rotation isn't working.
View 14 Replies View RelatedI've seen this at the Galaxy S6 Edge forum. But no-one seems to have a 'normal' S6 128GB with the same problem except me (so far).
What I've done so far:
-Checked that the button for Screen Rotation was ON
-Safe mode to see if a third party app was interfering with the programming
-Factory reset
None worked, my screen still won't rotate. It's stuck in portrait mode. I opened up the package with my phone this morning. It worked fine in the beginning. But no longer.
I asked earlier about my screen rotation not working... i tried your solution but it did not work. Is there anything else I can try?

I own a z3. Its one month old. I have felt at many occasions that the screen auto rotation isn't working as it is supposed to. Many I times I need to re rotate the phone to get correct orientation.
View 6 Replies View RelatedMy xperia z2 phone does not rotate the screen when held in upside down position. In other words, it does not rotate the screen 180 degrees from a normal up position. 90 degrees either side rotation is okay. This happens in the safe mode as well. Is that a bug or a feature? Is there a remedy?
View 6 Replies View RelatedDoes z3 have the function to rotate the home screen to side ways? I've seen z1 can so I am feeling weird that the newer z version can't...
View 8 Replies View RelatedAnd NO, it is not locked. Photos, books, webpages and email will rotate 90 degrees in either direction - meaning they'll go from portrait to landscape, but will not go all the way around 180 degrees. Homescreen will not rotate and none of the apps will rotate. I've tried turning it off and on several times, deleted all recently installed apps, reset all settings. I bought this phone 2 weeks ago...

i recently updated my xperia mini pro to ICS. Now i am facing screen lag while auto rotation. can some one please tell me how to fix it. secondly, how can i revert back to android 2.3 GB?
View 6 Replies View RelatedI notice this while trying to put it on my desk or one hand typing texts, it seems the auto rotate sensitivity is too high. Is there some way to "turn it down" so you can turn the phone more before it auto rotates? I know I can turn it off, but I use it in Chrome and YouTube and probably couple more apps.

View 6 Replies View RelatedGot the Edge yesterday, loving it except, the screen won't rotate.
Open camera app, the screen is always oriented downwards. It will not take portrait pictures at all - it simply doesn't rotate to portrait orientation.
Open any games, they will only be oriented downwards also.
The accelerometer is functional - tested with a game "extreme car driving" that lets you control steering by phone tilt - worked fine.
However, even that game automatically instantly re-orients itself upside down when you open it.
Screen rotation is toggled on. I have tried with it off, no difference.
Have rebooted several times. Have turned phone off and left it off for an hour, turned back on. Have not tried a factory reset yet... not particularly keen on doing it but I guess that is my next step. Did a factory reset. Didn't work.

Android 5.0.2 of course..

Since updating to GB, my browser and text windows won't auto rotate to landscape anymore... Have check & rechecked all the settings.
View 15 Replies View RelatedI have noticed that my screen rotation no longer works on my Atrix. The phone still detects the correct orientation (AndroSensor app's 'Orientation' degrees change correctly as I rotate the phone). Games that rely on the accelerometer still function normally. The operating system just seems to do nothing when I rotate. Browser doesn't go to landscape, and other apps that normally can switch to landscape, just don't. The setting to Auto-rotate is checked.I have pulled the battery, I have rebooted, I have tried changing settings, rebooting, changing them again, but I can't get it to work as it did a few days ago. Searching this sort of problem online seems to come up with similar issues with other people across a myriad of different Android devices, yet no one really has any solution on how to fix besides doing a 'factory reset'. A factory reset doesn't seem to be a good fix for this to me.
The closest reasonable explanation I can come up with is that with the added Motorola software, there might possibly be another 'rotation' setting behind the scenes that we can't access that got out of sync with the normal Android rotation settings (read on how this might be an explanation for the problem on Samsung phones), but who knows what is really going on. Very annoying though, since the phone sensors appear to be working properly. I can't even write a simple text message in landscape mode because of this, making it frustratingly difficult with the small on-screen keys on the regular mode.
