Feb 16, 2011got a blackberry storm 9530 from my brother in the USA, its unlocked, I can receive calls and smsses but cannot send any smsses.

Yesterday added Blackberry Enterprise Server 4.1.4.17 to the phone, which previously had been provisioned by Verizon directly (connected to our exchange server). Email comes in just fine, but if I wish to either reply or forward the message, at the very top of the message, there is a note that states: "Send Using" and next to that is a button that shows "Desktop v" (the v is a down arrow). I am unable to change the Desktop button to my email account.
Saw the following post: http://supportforums.blackberry.com/t5/BlackBerry-Storm-BlackBerry-9500/Composing-Sending-Emails/m-p... and tried changing the default, which it allowed me to do, but to no avail.I am unable to respond to or forward any emails I have received on the hand-held unit.The option to send is available but when I send it comes back with an error message that it is unable to send from desktop.
BB Storm :: Can't Send Pictures In MMS
Apr 26, 2011All of a sudden I can't send MMS pictures. I've never had a problem now all of a sudden I get an error message that says "Message content size exceeds limit." I send them in the smallest size possible. I don't have any problems with email, just MMS. I went to Verizon, my carrier and they have no clue.

Jan 27, 2011I used to always be able to take a picture, hit the BB key, select share or send, select Facebook. But now when I do it and select share or send, there is only the option for Email, MMS, or Messengar contact. No facebook.I still have facebook on my phone. Haven't done anything new to my phone. It was working one day, and now it's not.

So therefore, I cannot ever keep any sms I might need because if it's still in the inbox, when I try to compose a new sms it keeps wanting to send it to the last person, no one new even when I specify the new contact and numbersIs there a fix for this?

Mar 12, 2010I currently using the storm 9530 and i cant send sms out to my contacts. If i reformat the handphone it can send out sms for a couple of days then it suddenly cannot without me changing any of the settings. Usually when i send i shows me a letter D on the left side of the msg and suddenly its not delivered anymore. I contacted my carrier and they said its not the system problem.

May 3, 2011BB is v5.0.0.328?I bought a "used" Blackberry Storm 9530 off of someone for $100. The phone wasn't unlocked, so I went ahead and got it unlocked. Now that I have my vodafone SIM in there, I am able to call my friends, receive calls, and receive texts. However when I send texts they are never received by my friends even though they show a check.Before I upgraded to v5.0, I would get a red x next to the message as soon as I tried to click send, and next to the persons name/number it would say "unidentified subscriber".I tried calling Verizon Customer Service, but they said as soon as I had unlocked the phone they have nothing to do with it anymore.

Jan 4, 2010I own an unlocked BB Storm (9530) and have been unable to send and receive MMS messages. Its now on AT&Ts Network and I talked to them about it they made it out to be that I needed a data plan. So they signed me up and I thought all was fixed. But I soon realized that was not the case. I cant even select to compose MMS text. I now have unlimited messaging and am on their BB data plan.
I have looked up on a lot of forums on what could be the problem and have d/l the service books and registered the HRTs and did a battery pull without any luck. I have noticed that I do not the MMS service books (MMS Client and MMS Transport). I was curious as to why I don't have them and if I could get them. Also during my last update (V5.0.0.328 Platform 4.2.0.128) I noticed I lost my browser icon. Was that supposed to happen or did I mess something up?

In service book notice is CMIME disallowed. several times i try to send service book from device, erase from DM and send service book again, but until now is SAME.

Mar 30, 2010I am using a Storm1. As you know this weekend BIS did an upgrade. At the same time Verizon dropped Yahoo as their e-mail server.I went into BIS and made the incoming and outgoing changes. It took and I resent a service book.I haven't been able to receive e-mail since. I can send e-mail but not receive.I've done a wipe and everything else I can think of. Any ideas?

Aug 9, 2010I recently upgraded my bb storm to 5.0.0.451, after doing so i discovered that when composing a new email I could not send it.The send option in the menu is missing and the send button at the top right corner of the screen is unresponsive.
Strangely though the send option is still available when replying to emails,it is only when I compose a new email that it is missing and I can only save it as a draft.I have tried upgrading to 5.0.0.841 and downgrading to 4.7.0.181, security wiping and clearing the service books and resending them but it still wont let me send an email.And right now I cant even download any other firmware using the desktop manager as it seems to have ground to a halt.
BB Storm 9500 :: Removing Send Using Option From My Calender?
Feb 11, 2010I had the Facebook application installed and I removed it because I found the mobile site easier to use. Since I unistalled the application the default "Send Using" when I make a new appointment is Facebook. I was having to change it to my regular email everytime I created a new appointment. I was able to change my default back to my email but I'm wondering if there is a way to remove Facebook from the options completely. I expected it to go away when I uninstalled the application. Can anyone please assist me?

However, I can only send emails to contacts with a saved email address or reply to emails that have come to my inbox. for example, I receive an email from a friend, I can reply just fine.
