BB Software :: Received A Messenger Request But Don't Know Who It's From?
Jun 2, 2010
I have received a blackberry messenger request but I don't know who it's from. Is there anyway I can find out who it's from before I accept or refuse request?
I recently bought a blackberry bold 9700 from my friend and it is unlocked to any network sim but is originally from Vodafone, I have also just went onto a new contract deal with virgin which includes unlimited internet access but my problem is that the blackberry messenger will not work, I've contacted my service provider and they said they cant do anything because the phone is not originally from them. I have also went to various shops and they also do not know what is wrong. My internet browser works fine but Blackberry messenger will not allow me to add people or see any requests from people when they add me and i dont know what to do next, is there anyway i can manually make this work?
Not being familiar with BBM, I recently added it to my phone with no security options turned on. Friday I received a ton of requests (from unknown people) to add mine to their contact lists, which I declined. They each were removed from my message list when I declined them. However, one of the messages will not go away. I have clicked "decline" and have attempted to delete the message, neither of which has had any effect.
I have since blocked incoming PIN messages in my firewall with exceptions of "Contacts" and "Specific Addresses".
I have recently brought a blackberry Curve 8520, one of the main reasons I brought it was because of bbm most of my friends have it and have requested me to add them, only when I click onto their pending request it does not have an accept button - but all my friends said it should. I have rebooted my phone a lot and I have reinstalled bbm at least twice. How I can sort this out?
My msn messenger fails to received any message. I already contacted my service provider but can't help either. I already try took out the phone battery and sim card but no help as well.
I sat together and used our barcodes through Blackberry Messenger. I have not received a request for "authorisation". Could this be that the other party has purchased a Blackberry data pack over the weekend and this has not been processed?
New problem generate in my Blackberry curve 9220 (OS 7.1) in Blackberry Messenger. When i sent request to my firends its show request is pending but he/she is already accept me. And he/she send request to me at that time i accept and he/she is in add my contact list.
I feel this was a hoax. I purchased the phone under the impression I would received 100 rebate/store credit and received nothing. Did anyone get there $100 rebate/credit from nokia or ATT?
My wife and I have the E6. On my wife's phone she has the possibility to add people to the meeting and sent an E-mail to those persons. On my phone I don't have that option. The only difference I see between both phones is that my wife has different mail accounts, and I have only a G-mail account. Is it possible that G-mail is not compatible with meeting requests?
Can someone please post an updated version of the AT&T carrier logos (one for white backgrounds, one for black) that look sharp on the retina display? I tried making my own but am unsure about the whole sizing thing...not sure what the dimensions are supposed to be, nor whether it should be points or pixels, resolution, etc.
I can't use BBM. The thing is that I add people by their PIN and they don't even get any request. It happens the same when people add me. I don't know if it only works with people from the same country.
I am using Blackberry Curve 8520 on Vodafone network India. Everything was working fine when all of a sudden I was not able to receive messages on BBM from my friends in Australia. So we deleted each other and now they are not able to add me as well. Whenever they try to add it goes in pending and their cell vibrates(as per their complain). They can add other users in India so issues should be with my BB service. I tried calling my customer care hundred's of times but they are not able to solve my problem. I even visited their store BUT ALL IN VAIN. Everytime they send me some service book and ask me to remove battery and insert it again and say hope it will work BUT IT DOES NOT WORK. I am fed up of all this calling them again and again doing the same useless things. My data plans are fine and I am able to send and receive BBM messages from my friends in INDIA.
I tried to add my friend's PIN on BBM during the service failure a few weeks ago, and although he didn't receive it, it was still marked as 'pending' on my bbm. Recently he tried to add my PIN, and the same thing happened. I can't scan his PIN because we don't usually meet up very often and I would never get the oppurtunity. Is there a way to delete any pending friend requests so that we would be able to try again, and if not, what should I do?
i accepted a bbm request through the notification window but now it's still there. in the actu bbm app itself, it's been accepted and she's now a contact. but in the notifications it acts as if i haven't replied. i tried accepting it several times, declining, ignoring all after i'd accepted it once and it won't go away.
can someone please send the original sound file from the lg banter to my email: idefine.brit@yahoo.com i have deleted it without backup and now all of my preset ringtones are gone.
This ocurred today, previously the app store displayed my installed apps OK.Now I continuously get the login request when attempting to display my installed apps.I can dowload and install apps
I have a blackberry bold 9780 and i have a problem. In de menu of the icons who indicate you have a message. When i go to that menu there are staying request of BB messenger, they stay there after the acceptation and i cann not remove them.
Ive tried a dozen times to submit a repair request and each time the operation stops after I select my device and your page stays blank. I submit my serial number and it looks up the device, finds it and I continue. Then I add my narrative and it asks me to pick my device. I select motoactv and at bottom of screen it has the little continue button. I press that and the screen stays white and wont let me continue the process. This is getting VERY ANNOYING and FRUSTRATING. Ive tried on 3 different computers on 3 different networks on 2 different browsers over a dozen times and I CANNOT submit my device for repair.
I bought a used iPhone 5 that was locked to TMobile. I was told that I can request a free unlock from apple. I just wanted to know how I can go about doing this?
Ok, having the "Your request can't be processed" is 1 thing but when it says "Your Session Expired" EVERY SINGLE TIME. Now you get me mad I get this on Chrome and Firefox, i can't even get the stupid Spinning wheel of death
I received a BBM invite which popped on the front screen. I then accepted it but the request is still showing on the front screen. tried acceptin, declinin, ignorin it but no result.
First day with bold. A web page that I visited now continuously loads without request no matter what I am doing with the device. How can I make this stop.
I have a 8520 curve and have loaded the most up to date version of BBM, but when i try to add a contact the request remains at pending. I have a data plan and my provider is O2 in the UK...
I have had this phone for 3+ years and about a month ago the browser just stopped working. I mean it requests a URL and looks like it starts to load but then just loops on loading. Everything else (testing, email) all work fine. No page ever loads.
