View 3 RepliesI have recently brought a blackberry Curve 8520, one of the main reasons I brought it was because of bbm most of my friends have it and have requested me to add them, only when I click onto their pending request it does not have an accept button - but all my friends said it should. I have rebooted my phone a lot and I have reinstalled bbm at least twice. How I can sort this out?

View 5 Replies View Relatedi just got my blackberry a few days back on a plan with vigin media with unlimited internet it was working fine until a few days back where whenever i clicked the browser it would say "there is insufficient network coverage to process your request. please try again." i do not understand why this is happening as it was working a few days back i have tried a few battery pulls but it has still not worked for me. I have even switched my phone on and off and turned all connections of and restored them. I really do not know what to do as i can know longer browse the web or recieve emails. In the top right corner it says "gprs" and even when i have full bars the connection does not work. I have called customer services and they have failed to help me so far any help appreciated..

View 1 Replies View RelatedMy Blackberry 8520 curve suddenly hangs giving a white screen and when i restart it - the screen remains white. After i put it into charge - then only a successful start is done. So the only solution as of now i have - is whenever my blackberry hangs - i need to remove the battery - insert it again - and immediately put it into charging via USB/Electric-Power. Even if i re-insert the battery - the white screen comes - unless and until i put it into charging Earlier i was guessing - my battery was weak.

Deleted BBM an reinstalled. Tried adding contact with PIN, barcode and email. Always goes to pending. Same happens when contact trys to add me. At my wits end with itUpgraded to new OS software (Via vodafone remote access) but still same problem. reinstalled new version of bbm but problem still exists. When I send my friends a request by typing there pin they do not get it , but it comes up 'Pending' beside there pin and when they send a request to me I don't get it and it comes up 'Pending' on there screen beside my pin , it is definitely not there bbm because they have got lots of other friends on bbm !

Everything was working fine when all of a sudden I was not able to receive messages on BBM from my friends in Australia. So we deleted each other and now they are not able to add me as well. Whenever they try to add it goes in pending and their cell vibrates(as per their complain). They can add other users in India so issues should be with my BB service. I tried calling my customer care hundred's of times but they are not able to solve my problem. I even visited their store BUT ALL IN VAIN. Everytime they send me some service book and ask me to remove battery and insert it again and say hope it will work BUT IT DOES NOT WORK. I am fed up of all this calling them again and again doing the same useless things.My data plans are fine and I am able to send and receive BBM messages from my friends in INDIA.

There is a box with location and a check mark. there is a box with connections and a check mark. A save button and a Details button. This pops up everytime I click on the weather icon. Is there a way to keep this from popping up every time? It did not used to. I have uninstalled and re-installed the weather app 3 times and 1 time in safe mode. Well, im not a very heavy BB user but ive never had my batt go dead on me but it happened! i totally couldnt turn my phone on until i put in my charger.Then it happens randomly whereby my phone will heat up and the battery drops 5% every 10mins or so! until it shuts off!! It happened once right after i fully charged my phone and it shut off within the next hour.Anyone knows whats happening?? i suspected whether it was any of my installed apps that are draining my batt, so i shut off everything! i mean no msn no foursquare no twitter only emails are on but yet it still happens!!Help please? i hope its just the batt thats screwed not my phone.

View 4 Replies View RelatedI have an ATT 8520 Curve unlocked to work with a tmobile sim card and have a few questions...Now that's unlocked I cant setup an external email account (hotmail, gmail, etc...) that icon is missing from the setup section. how can I get that feature? can I also use the bbm feature? I added a friend (and vice-versa) but it just stays as pending. is it possible to bbm? for the above 2 do i need to get the bb data plan so they can work? I've read elsewhere that the best way to get the features would be to load the tmobile handheld software. I went to tmobiles site, I enter my ph# - select the 8520 - click on handheld and it takes me to their 'shop for phones' page. I guess they now by the number that i dont currently have a bb. So I tried a friends ph# from tmobile who has a bb and it still took me to the 'shop for phones' page. So I Am hoping it's just a link glitch going on right now. I did download from this forum the 5.0 OS "8520wifiM_PBr5.0.0_rel860_PL5.2.0.47_A5.0.0.509_W ind_Hellas.exe" which obviously is not tmobile. What would loading this different OS allow me to do? Or what features will I have available? and I have lowercase 'edge'.
