I'm trying to access the internet and am getting the following error message: "the selected server returned an error when attempting to fulfill your request" My service provider told me to update my software, which I did via my desktop. Its still giving me this error message. I can't access facebook, whats app etc., I do however have BBM.
View 1 RepliesIf I go to the internet icon, click on it and then type in a web address, I get an error "http error 503 service unavailable the server is currently unable to handle your request". But if I click on the bookmark for google and type in the web address I'm trying to get to, it will go there.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI have a Blackberry Curve 9330 (I think) that's about 3 weeks old. I downloaded two ringtones from Verizon and they played fine until yesterday. With no changes it now says "Invalid ringtone". When I attempt to play thru the music icon I get "An error has occurred attempting to play media." However, thru various maneuverings I can get the two songs to play but there's no way to restore them to ringtones. I've tried rebooting several times but nothing. I've searched just about every blog on this website and haven't found an answer. Interestingly, I can play UTube and just about any other media. Also, when I click "Options" in any app for info the only screen I get is to change wallpaper. Clicking "Options" from the home screen gives me the option to change ringtones, display, networks and connections, etc. but trying to change the ringtones results in the "Invalid ringtone" warning. I'm starting to hate this Blackberry!

Proud and all, I just recently purchased a media card to start storing and listening to music.I am now unable to play any sort of media, sound or ringtone. The media card seems to not have anything to do with it. I also don't think it is file format, because videos that I can take with my phone are not able to be viewed.I have a BB 8520.

We've been using 8900 handsets in the UK, over Vodafone for some time, and tyey work great... ...but now we have a new user who's bought a 9700, again over Vodafone, but this time in Germany. When he attempts to use enterprise activation he (eventually) receives "enterprise server has not responded to your activation request"
We've checked that his data plan is compatible with BES. So - how do we get this working? Do I need to upgrade to BES Express 5.0?

View 3 Replies View RelatedI have a Blackberry Curve 8520 running on v4.6 I have been trying to get to my AIM instant messenger and it says there is a server error. I CAN get on AIM on my computer, so there is no server error.
I read that AIM is no longer supported by Blackberry but that there is an AIM app to download. I followed the direction and uninstalled my current AIM and sent to download the current AIM and still getting the server error.

I'm sick and tired of have to pull by battery every time I want to go ahead and listen to some of my music on my Torch 9860. I am running with the v7.1.0.523 and this error message has been since I had this phone with V7.0 OS. Every time I'm on my musical mood I have to pull the battery off? That really means that I have to pull the battery like 2 or 3 times per day just because I wanted to play some music? I had two yahoo email accounts. I canceled one of them. Every time I try to delete the account from my Bravo, I get the "error occured, try again" message. I tried the "wifi hookup and restart" answer I fount on this site, but I still cannot get rid of the second email account.

I can connect to Facebok through the usual Yahoo, Google but not the Blackberry specific Icon. View 2 Replies View RelatedA friend gave me his nexus 5 because it have a problem, one day the phone was stuck on boot screen (the flying balls of lollipop) and to add difficulty (can't be easy right?) windows doesn't recognize the phone but it recognize my nexus 5 with the same cable on the same usb port....
I get a "Device Descriptor Request Failed"(the usb port on the nexus seems to be ok) but my nexus get none ... Is it a hardware issue ? I heard that there is issues with nexus 5's motherboard...
I can enter the fastboot and recovery but after a wipe, still stuck..... Not rooted and booloader locked....
I am not happy with the V 40 update for my device. The problems faced are,
1. Sometimes cannot accept calls - Error shown is request rejected
2. Music library get corrupted.
3. Camera doesnot flash on its own in low light.
4. Hangs quite a times.
5. Use OVI maps only to restart your phone.
6. Sensor controls are bad.
7. Installing a few applications gets it slow.
8. Clock doesnot display its time on the home screen.
I am seriously annoyed by this.First I did the update myself.I then visited a Nokia Care centre and the version was reinstalled. I still have the same problems. I have done it myself through the software updater and OVI suite. Thats means a total of 4 updates and still the errors are present.
Each time I switch on I get the message "A network error was encountered. Check your server settings" Pressing OK does not work. In fact there is no problem as when using the sleeve which turns the phoneoff /on the message disappears. How do I get rid of this message?
View 3 Replies View RelatedI didn't feel like owning a defective product even though I wasn't experiencing dropped calls. There eventually will be revised hardware. Whether it's in a few weeks, months, or iPhone 5. I didn't want to take the hit on resale value with a rev A iPhone 4.
In any case, I have a micro-sim to full size sim adapter and put Apple card into my Nexus One. All was good and didn't need to stop by ATT to get a new full size sim. Plus I like the idea of having a universal SIM should a newer phone come my way. Just an FYI to those returning phones. I did call ATT while I was in the Apple store to inform them of what I was doing. They were cool with it as well. Also the SIM adapter I'm running is one I purchased off ebay. Black version with the seller claiming they're straight from Germany. They're the exact size of a standard sim The blue versions are a little too thick for some phones.
Just upgraded my phone to the latest OS and now none of my ringtones or alerts work. They all say "Invalid ringtone selected, please make another selection." I'm on Sprint and it's a 3G curve, OS 6.0.0?
