Just upgraded my phone to the latest OS and now none of my ringtones or alerts work. They all say "Invalid ringtone selected, please make another selection." I'm on Sprint and it's a 3G curve, OS 6.0.0?
View 5 RepliesI have had a problem with texts not always going off for atleast a month now, sometimes a battery pull works, other times not. Now my alarm isn't going off. Again it's not always and battery pulls only sometimes fix the issue. I have checked the options for the alarm and text and when I click 'try it' it says 'invalid ring tone selected' which makes no sense, I have changed it from the phone's default tones and to music stored on my phone which I know plays in the music player and neither works.

Its still giving me this error message. I can't access facebook, whats app etc., I do however have BBM.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI've been using a daily horoscope program with no problem since I first got my phone a few months ago. Today when I went to use it, it told me an update was available, so I choose to accept the update. When it asked if I wanted to reboot/restart the phone now or later, I selected now. The phone proceeded to update the software and now I can't use my phone at all.
I tried connecting my phone to my computer so I could restore it, but desktop manager says it can't communicate with my phone. And when I plug in the power cord, my phone doesn't even register that it's charging up. So, since so much of my life is connected to my phone, and I can't use my phone at all, I'm squirming. Of course, AT&T online tech support is closed Sundays; I guess nobody else has a phone emergency on Sundays. All I get is a white screen that tells me to reload software.
I'm unable to read individual emails when using the Outlook Web Access site in the internet browser window.I am using this to check work email and would rather do it this way (over the internet) than using the e-mail client that is part of the device. I'm able to log-in to my inbox and see everything I should see, however when I try clicking on an individual email to read it, nothing happens. I've tried clicking on the sender's name, the subject line and everything else on the line for that email. When I do that nothing happens.Am I doing this wrong? Is there somewhere else I'm suppose to click? Is there possibly some setting that needs to be turned on or maybe one that is on that should be unchecked?Any help would really, really be appreciated.
View 4 Replies View RelatedWhen I try to access web sites from the Blackberry browser I get the "Unable to connect to the selected mobile data service. Please try again later" message. This happens whether connected through the T-Mobile network or Wi-fi.When I change the browser settings to the T-Mobile browser I am able to access web site just fine. However I would prefer to use the Blackberry browser because not all pages load correctly with the T-Mobile browser.
I have an active data plan and am connected to an enterprise server. My outlook and webmail e-mails work so I don't think it's a problem with my carrier. I've tried a battery pull, re-sending my service books, etc without luck.I think the problem may have started after connecting to my desktop for the first time in about a year, but I'm not completely certain. T-Mobile support and IT administrator have been no help.
Recently I have been trying to install an update to the Facebook application I have on my BlackBerry. The error message "907 Invalid COD" keeps appearing & won't let me download it. The previous FB application I had on my phone won't work now either. How do I get it to properly download? I've tried turning the wifi off & using the network to download it, but that didn't work.

This happens intermittently and gets fixed as soon as i restart the phone (not battery pull). Is something wrong with the upgrade? The phone is a factory unlocked phone.

This has only just caused a problem as her screen froze so she removed the battery and had to re-input the password and cannot remember it. Of course the password reminders are going to an invalid email.I have set up a correct Blackberry id for her now (on the computer) but cannot change it on her phone as the original password for the incorrect email is required!I've tried to google and I'm sure it's simple but have a distraught daughter who cannot BBM her friends!Is the only solution to wipe it?
View 3 Replies View RelatedI had a BB curve 8520 for past 2 years and loved it. Over Christmas, my son had my old BB and I bought a new one - exactly the same - the Curve 8520. Both operate on orange networks. My old BB was v4 new BB is v5.I have a personal email address, and 5 work email accounts - all of which have worked perfectly fine on the old BB. However when trying to add them to the new BB, although my personal account has been accepted, when trying to input my work email I keep getting a message that the password is not correct (which I know it is. I have even tried resetting my work email password on the email server).The email accounts were removed from the old BB when it was given to my son, and although they have worked on that BB for 2 years, I tried reloading them on his BB - but now have the same error message of incorrect password.I have surfed the net and can see this seems to be an issue, mostly for gmail accounts (My work email is not a gmail account) - but no specific response on how to resolve it. I have carried out all the checks such as making sure keyboard is set to right language, and font does not automatically set capitals as first letter, so that isnt the problem.The phone is primarily for business use - so I absolutely have to resolve this.

I pulled the battery after I had no idea what else to do and the ringtones/notifications worked again. However about every 5 or 6 days the same thing happens and I have to pull the battery. I also noticed that when I check the ringtone options whenever the ringtones fail the BB says "invalid ringtone, please choose anther ringtone"could it be that the loudspeaker is loose? It's not busted because it works most of the time and a battery pull seems to solve the issue.Just now I had to pull the battery again to get the ringtones sounding.
View 10 Replies View RelatedI have a blacberry working with Orange France. I had an error message when I pulled out the battery (App Error 523, reset" ). So I send the firmware 8520M_PBr5.0.0_rel661_PL5.2.0.31_A5.0.0.411.exe, and he could start.
However, when I put my sim card (working on my nokia) , it doesn't work (invalid). I've asked for an unlock code, but when I enter it, the BB freeze (I always have 10 tries). I've tried with another simcard (Orange, SFR...) and the result is the same.
I keep receiving this error message: "During synchronization, some of the records were invalid. The following 1 records where skipped: Address Book -0, Microsoft Outlook -1 Do you want to view the synchronization log for more details?" The sync log doesn't give me any clue, apparently there´s no big deal, but it generates the error and I also can´t sync with splash ID
