My Blackberry curve 9360 doesn't text anymore. I can receive texts but when I try to text someone it doesn't send and it's written in red "Invalid mandatory information".

View 1 Replies View Relatedjust got a new Curve 9360. The default text message display shows all messages i.e. if I've sent a text most recently that is what I see at the top. What I want it to do is show the SMS Inbox (which I can navigate to via the folder options, but I can't find a way to set it as a default). Can't work out how to do it either on the device or when connected to the PC.
View 6 Replies View RelatedJust upgraded from Curve 8520 to Curve 9360, and I'm a little disappointed at the moment. Firstly, the battery doesn't last half as long, and secondly, its sending duplicate text in an email.
E.g.:
I send an email saying : Hi, how are you?.
What it really sends is : Hi, how are you? Hi, how are you? </div>
So it used to be that when I did that "rub the edge" gesture to bring up the information/notification edge stream, the time would come up first, then I had to scroll to see the stream. The time is gone now, it just goes straight to stream. I liked being able to check the time without lighting up the screen. Why it's gone or how to get it back.

View 3 Replies View RelatedWhat I like to do (and have always done with my other, non-blackberry phones) is go outside for a smoke, while listening to some music on my phone, then come back in, send some text messages and maybe make a call, then go out for another smoke, playing the music where I left off. My new bb curve 9360 can't seem to do that. Once I navigate to any other apps or anything, it resets the music player, gets rid of Now Playing and I have to start all over (I try to cycle through all my mp3s on random/shuffle). How can I even get to texting w/o stopping the music. Shouldn't there be a Home button or something (that doesn't stop the music)? I set up facebook. Now how do I stop all the activation sounds every time someone posts something?

My listed email accounts include my Gmail account, but the text is red and it says "Invalid Account. Please Validate" So I click on it, type my password, and it says "Your xxxx@gmail.com password is invalid. My friend recently changed from an iPhone to an android device. Everytime I send him a text, my iPhone keeps attempting to send the message as an iMessage first and then falls back to a text. How do I tell it that my friend no longer has an iPhone?
