I bought 2 apps thos week and got receipts from Paypal. For some reason I cant access the registration codes. They don't appear on the "thank youL emails from Appworld. And BB doesn't always recognize my email address. Is anyone else having this problem?
View 1 RepliesI have a problem setting my call barring on the 5310. According to 5310 manual, the default access code for call barring is 12345. The problem is the input field only has 4 spaces for numbers so it fails to activate because I can only enter 1234. BTW, I haven't set any of my own security codes yet. From searching the web I have found people have have this issue with this phone and the access codes. They were given various codes to try, but the matter was not resolved. None of them work. Could someone please tell me what the default access code is for the 5310?

I still am unable to change the locked speed-dial codes. Here are the steps I'm taking:
- press the green phone key, the phone dial pad appears;
- press the blackberry "menu" key, scroll down menu and select "view", then "speed dial list";
- highlight the "A" Lock Keypad, then press the "select" ball : result screen goes dark and have to hit unlock button; or alternatively, execute same steps, except press the "enter/return" on keyboard: result screen is locked.After reading the instructions; they mentioned pressing the "enter" symbol at the far right,I don't have an enter button as noted, what am I missing?
After the 5.1 update I'm unable to use hangout application through mobile data due to following error
"Unexpected account registration error. Please try again."
I have reset the hangout app but the error is still there.
Hangout is working fine with the WIFI, problem occurs only with mobile data.

Ideally, I would like to know how to edit the "sms mo so" setting so I could change it to 13k instead of 8k, as has been mentioned in various material I have found. Of course, I'm not sure if this is possible, but if it is not, is there some alternative?
Secondly, tonight, I managed to breach this phone's 70 or 72ish inbox limit by having lots and lots of picture messages. I got it up to 117 when I decided to delete all the messages and see if the new limit had been set, as was suggested to work for certain Samsung models on another site. This does not seem to be the case, as I am back at 72.

View 7 Replies View RelatedThis might not be a Blackberry-specific issue, but I am posting here because I am using a Bold 9900 and it is happening to me. It actually happened on my Storm as well. My phone is unlocked and I am currently outside my home country. Whenever I call out, I can simply call with the number without adding the calling code, but when I am texting, I have to add the calling code as if I were in my home country before the text gets sent. Also, when I choose a contact in my phonebook, I do not have the calling code saved in the numbers, but for some weird reason, it adds it. Is this normal? Is there a way for me to turn it off?
[edit] A side note. I add the calling code as another field in the phone book. I add it as a home number so I can just text with that field instead of typing the entire number with the calling code. For some weird reason when I am getting an incoming call, the name is shown along with the number with the calling code.
Do all QR Readers (apps) also read barcodes? Or, do I need to get a separate app for each? Which is the best QR Reader / Barcode Reader app?

View 1 Replies View RelatedI am trying to get my phone to connect up to SIP but I keep getting error messages. I can use the same connections I am feeding it within fring without any issue, but it just won't allow me to connect using the built-in SIP client.
Can anyone offer some words of wisdom as to what might be going on? I did upgrade my firmware to some 400.x version which, may or may not have killed the deal.
I've spoken with two of my SIP providers and both of them are stumped. There are a billion reports of Nokia users having this issue. I called technical support at Nokia but they were no help at all. I think there are some language barriers that just aren't clicking.
Everything else on the phone seems just fine. Just can't connect using SIP. I would just bite the bullet and use fring for my VoIP calls but I really like how the SIP client is integrated right into the OS of the phone.
I have just received two new iPhone 4s. I ordered a white for me and black for my wife. But she wanted the white one so we swapped and have since restored all her data to the white on and mine to the black. All is well except when I go to buy an app it brings up my wife's apple ID and asks for her password instead of mine. I assume this is because the carrier registered the serials to our names, or am I being daft here? Basically m iPhone has all my details except when I go to buy an app it things I'm my wife. How do I swap this over?

I upgraded last week again to the new Bold 9900 and this time the email has not come across. It is still there on the blackberry pc page to edit signatures etc., and when I select the option to 'update device' I get the error message 'unable to find device'. The one problem I have not been able to fix, it's that I can't access bbm 5.0. I have the icon on my home screen however, when I select it nothing happens. I have deleted it and re-installed it several times already and that didn't work. I have had to re-install the old version of the bbm and that version works fine. I have a curve 8520 from T-mobile and OS 4.6.
