Dec 7, 2012I recently upgraded my Lumia 900 to 920 at AT&T, so I want to unlock my 900 so that I can use it in another country. I got the unlock code from AT&T. However, it just doesn't work. When I was asked for an unlock code on Lumia 900, I input the 8 digits code, press Enter, and it said "incorrect PIN". I've called AT&T services tons of times, and it ends up that they asked me to call Nokia support. The IMEI I gave to them is 100% correct, and AT&T stated again and again they've given me the right unlock code. Is there anything special to input the unlcok code on Lumia 900?

Mar 7, 2010It's over a month now that Nokia has released the latest 40.x.x firmware for its 5800 model, or should I say to a small, privilleged amount of customers? I have purchased a Nokia 5800 via Amazon.de, totally unbranded, product code is 0578314, and up to now, the new firmware is unavailable. Why does it take so long for the firmware to become available at least for the unbranded country versions? Technically, there seems to be no problem at all, since many users simply change their product code and install the new firmware, but I am asking here for an official way to get the new firmware in time. The massive delay in firmware updates for different product codes is simply a pain for us paying customers who want the latest features available.

Jun 17, 2010I have a problem setting my call barring on the 5310. According to 5310 manual, the default access code for call barring is 12345. The problem is the input field only has 4 spaces for numbers so it fails to activate because I can only enter 1234. BTW, I haven't set any of my own security codes yet. From searching the web I have found people have have this issue with this phone and the access codes. They were given various codes to try, but the matter was not resolved. None of them work. Could someone please tell me what the default access code is for the 5310?

Apr 21, 2014I have my 1520 set with to require a PIN to unlock it. After updating to WP8.1 sometimes when I use the keypad it will register multiple taps even though I only touch the number once.
The only way I am able to get around this is to lock it again and then bring up the keypad again. This does not always work first time, it might take me locking it a few times.

Jul 26, 2014When you unlock your phone by swiping up on the lock screen, if you try to swipe up on the Start screen immediately from the bottom of that screen, you will likely get no movement on the screen. If you swipe up from the top half of the screen you will likely get immediate movement of that screen.It seems as though when the phone performs screen transitions that the top half of the screen gets its touch enabled anywhere from a half a second to a second or two faster than the bottom half of the screen.
This became really apparent with the new animated lock screens that were just released. With one of those installed (aka the first choice in the list of animated lock screens), if you unlock your phone, try immediately swiping up from the bottom multiple times rapidly on the Start screen once it becomes visible. For me, it doesn't register a swipe for almost 2 seconds. But the top half of the screen registers a swipe almost instantly. It does have a little more of a delay on the top half than it does if you use just a normal lock screen.
