BB Torch :: Unblocking After 10 Wrong Codes?
Feb 29, 2012I have got the Blackberry Torch that I wanted to unblocked lastly. Unfortunately the phone operator or service provider (Bouygues Telecom) was unable to unblock it because the ten trials allowed to unblock have been exceeded by my kid brother who was trying to use it with a Virgin Mobile SIM when I was hospitalized. My phone operator Bouygues told me there is nothing they can do. How can I unblock it then.

Nov 4, 2011I have a problem scanning QRCode contacts from printed QR Codes and from other Blackebery users displaying their QRCode in BBM. I start the scanning process and the device registers a beeo, but the contact is not added. Another BB Torch 9800 in the office can scan the very same QR Code.My current version is 6.0 Bundle 695?I have tried to update BBM but it says its uptodate.

Aug 9, 2011I still am unable to change the locked speed-dial codes. Here are the steps I'm taking:
- press the green phone key, the phone dial pad appears;
- press the blackberry "menu" key, scroll down menu and select "view", then "speed dial list";
- highlight the "A" Lock Keypad, then press the "select" ball : result screen goes dark and have to hit unlock button; or alternatively, execute same steps, except press the "enter/return" on keyboard: result screen is locked.After reading the instructions; they mentioned pressing the "enter" symbol at the far right,I don't have an enter button as noted, what am I missing?

May 22, 2010I have an SCH-U440, also known as Gloss, from US Cellular. I have done some digging online, but CDMA codes seem hard to come by. Ideally, I would like to know how to edit the "sms mo so" setting so I could change it to 13k instead of 8k, as has been mentioned in various material I have found. Of course, I'm not sure if this is possible, but if it is not, is there some alternative?
Secondly, tonight, I managed to breach this phone's 70 or 72ish inbox limit by having lots and lots of picture messages. I got it up to 117 when I decided to delete all the messages and see if the new limit had been set, as was suggested to work for certain Samsung models on another site. This does not seem to be the case, as I am back at 72.

Dec 11, 2012This might not be a Blackberry-specific issue, but I am posting here because I am using a Bold 9900 and it is happening to me. It actually happened on my Storm as well. My phone is unlocked and I am currently outside my home country. Whenever I call out, I can simply call with the number without adding the calling code, but when I am texting, I have to add the calling code as if I were in my home country before the text gets sent. Also, when I choose a contact in my phonebook, I do not have the calling code saved in the numbers, but for some weird reason, it adds it. Is this normal? Is there a way for me to turn it off?
[edit] A side note. I add the calling code as another field in the phone book. I add it as a home number so I can just text with that field instead of typing the entire number with the calling code. For some weird reason when I am getting an incoming call, the name is shown along with the number with the calling code.
