BB Software :: 9360 Applications Running Only On WiFi?
Jun 5, 2012
I received my 9360 some days ago.My mobile operator activated BES and everything was working prefect. After I've activated Enterprise Account suddenly all downloaded applications and preinstalled applications (like AppWorld, Facebook) are not running anymore with mobile network, however same applications are working perfect on WiFi What could be the reason and where to ask for further support: mobile operator or my company IT support?
Ever since I got my phone, i have tried to log in with my blackberry ID but in vain, it keeps on telling me to enter the username associated with my phone yet that is the user name I have been using ever since. I have registered the same user name on the blackberry site and it works but it cant work on my phone? phone is a blackberry 9360 curve
i am using Nokia lumia 710 and I have phone software version 1600.3015.8107.12070but I am facing a problem while starting application....it says your phone software is outdated and this app will not run on it?
How can I tell how many applications are running in the background? The Application Switcher always shows at least five applications. Options > Device > Application Management > CPU shows a lot of applications that are using <1% of the CPU, but I don't know if that means that they are actually running. Is there another way to see which applications are running?
apparently hitting the home icon on the phone does not close an application necessarily. How do you find out what is running? And how do you close them for good?
I sometimes find un unknown icon in my applications tray called menu. I reboot my phone and the icon disappears. The last two days I had the exact looking icon but this time it's called Startup2. Even when I reboot my phone it stays there. I've gone so far as to downgrade my OS and upgrade again, but it still does not go away. The icon looks like the icon on the Application folder. It is square with a thick white line at the top. Sort of like a "window".
There are many application which starts automatically even after stopping them or closing them with task manger or form settings/Running Services... How do I permanently close/shut that application and run only whenever I need them and setup application to start at phone start up. My 70 percent RAM is being utilized in non-required application...
I bought my new Nokia Lumia 800 this weekend and started using it. I have downloaded certain news site applications and found that working on weekend. But then observed that it is opening only when used with WiFi, but does not open in 2G/3G connection. This is new to me. I was an Android user and use to browse the same news site applications with either wifi or 2G/3G. The news site applications are: Times of India and Ibnlive.
i'm using a school wifi... checked all the settings (security type, ca certificate and all that) and made sure it matched... it still tells me "failed to connect to the network" or "failed to authenticate agaisnt the network" every single time!
Just received a new BB Curve 9360. I keep trying to turn off WIFI to save battery life but when I click off WIFI in the Manage Connections box it keeps turning itself back on after a few seconds. Is there some sort of automatic connect function that turns on WIFI if it detects a signal? If so where can turn off this function?
i recently bought a blackberry curve 9360. I have not been able to connect to my home wifi which is protected as well as a free wifi hotspot at my university. The phone says i am connected to wifi, however, i cannot open a website on my browser. The browser gives me the following error "unable to connect to the internet, please try again later. if the problem persists
i have been tryign to turn on my wifi on my blackberry and it keeps saying unable to turn on wifi i have down graded softward and stiil the sape reinstalled software still same also wiped phoen still same taken battery out loads of times still the same the phoen is only 2 weeks old
I have a 9360 on Mobilicity Canada, which should allow wifi calling, however I cant find where to enable this.I am told this is carrier dependent, but my carrier seems to support this, so is it locked by the phone, or the build? The phone itself is originally from Wind, and I'm on 7.1.0.523 which I downloaded while travelling (and using a different sim). Do I need to roll back to a mobility specific build?
I have a brand new BB 9360 with unlimited email, bbm and phone plan (no data plan but I didn't have one on my old phone either and I didn't have this issue). When I'm connected to Wifi, my bbm and email works perfectly. As soon as I leave that wifi connection, it shows I am connected to the Bell network but bbm and email do not work until I turn my phone off then on or make a phone call. It is like it has to reset before really picking up the bell network. I called Bell Canada and they basically told me I have to manually disconnect and reconnect every time I leave a wifi connection. That doesn't even work.
My iPhone5 (Jan 2013) will not find any wifi networks. It's running ios 7.1.1Â
I have reset everything, turned it off and on a zillion times turned the router off and onÂ
None of the other apple products in the house are having problems with the networks.Â
So I'm thinking its a hardware problem-But here's the odd thing: every time I turn it off and on, the call forwarding icon (phone+arrow) appears. When I go into settings/phone/call forwarding it immediately goes away.Â
4G is working fine, although the last couple of days my phone has been randomly forwarding some calls to my voicemail w/o ringing; but not always.
I've got a LG g3 running Android 5.0 and wifi speeds are drastically reduced if the bluetooth is turned on. Bluetooth doesn't need to be connected to anything, if it's on my speeds are down to about 0.2Mbps and with Bluetooth off they're around 25 Mbps. I've tried a factory reset but didn't make a difference.
Can any one guide me how to connect my 701 to PC via WiFi ? mind it that not via Bluetooth,Also can I access the internet connection in PC to mobile via Wi Fi? If possible please do guide me ASAP.As i have laptop with WiFi and my mobile is also Wi fi enabled so logically it should be possible.
My mobile is Nokia C7 I bought Joikuspot Premium Wifi and installed. For the bigining, it worked well for 2 days and after that I didn't know what happen. When I press the icon of "Joikuspot", It shows the message (in Thai Lanaguge) I will translate to you the meaning that "Software can not use file because of Security Policy" and then return to main menu.
I power off my mobile and tried again to use. The same problem occur.
After that, I tried to use for free version of Joikuspot, for free version can work well but it can't set the security code.
I've downloaded a few apps from the store onto my Bold 9700 (Twitter, Facebook, Opera mini etc) and have no problems as long as I'm in WiFi range. Once outside this I can't use them without getting a message about them being a WiFi service and to check connection.
My browser preference is set to "Hotspot browser" but even when I change this to 3G I still get the same message. None of the applications seem to have browser setting preferences so I'm not sure how I can get round the problem.Does anyone know of a settings page somewhere that will fix this?
