Mar 21, 2011My E7 ambient light sensor glows faint red when I try to connect a fring voice call (and the phone stops responding) or when certain apps (pocket lock) for instance is running. is there any issue with my phone? will the "Glow" burn my proximity sensor? is this an indication of any problem with the application. I only istall applications downloaded from OVI store.

Feb 2, 2012Every day at 10:30 GMT (without fail) I get a text message from Ovi Nokia App telling about some 'cool app' or other. This is now seriously bugging me - I didn't subscribe to it (my wife uses Ovi Store and doesn't get these messages). I keep thinking I am popular but no, it's just Ovi Nokia App telling what i already know! How do I get rid of it? I have tried to reply and send 'STOP' but it won't let you reply. I can't find anywhere on this site that tells you how to stop it either. I am reaching the point where I now purposely 'lose' my phone at 10:29 GMT and then find it again at 10:31 just to avoid the curse of ovi!

Jun 11, 2010after upgrade to firmware 034.001 I noticed problem that after some time (like 1-2days) phone stops ringing on incoming calls. I see that call someone is calling but no sound comes out of phone (I can answer call and all is OK). I tried to change profiles General/Meeting but anyway after change I make test call and still no sound. Only thing that help is switch off and back on.

Jan 3, 2011I got a E72 that stops syncronize with exchange server. When pressing synchronize it connects but no new mails, contacts or bookings arrives. And no error info. The only way to solve the problem is to delete the profile and add it again, thet it works. I got the error now for the second time during 2 month.

Mar 22, 2011I'm an E51 user and i got the phone from my dad like few months ago. He updated it regularly and one day the left soft key stopped working,then it was the 4 button key 's turn to stop working.then he gave it to me and told me to go on Nokia's website to look for the solution. I was quite sure that it was the keypad but i discovered that if i press another button and the 4 button at the same time, the 4 button works. I am very confused. then after some time, the phone started to call contacts when i press the arrow keys. Example: im on the main menu and when i try to browse it calls my mum. I don't know why but i tried to update the software again to see what happens, but, the pc wont recognize the phone this time, i tried on my mother's pc, mine, my dad's one and my friend's one....same. I dont know if it is the firmware or the keypad. and i tried to reset all the settings by doing *#7370#, but i dont know the unlock code and my dad seems to have forgotten it.

Jul 21, 20111) I am unable to either open the message section, forget reading or sending messages and it shows he error which says "Messaging Memory full. Close some applications and try again" I have tried every possible way i guess. Have deleted all my messages from the cell( Sim, Memory card and from phone memory as well), but no result.. Still unable to send messages. I tried restarting my cell phone, Closed all applications, infact uninstalled many, Formatted memory card and everything.

Dec 1, 2011I used the app last night and tried out the Internet Radio function...nice function.Powered off my phone and put it on the charger for the night. This morning when I turned on the phone the music app started on its own. I only discovered the problem after my battery went from 100% charge to like 88% charge in like an hour. When I checked to see what the heck was causing the battery drain I discovered the music app was the culprit. I force closed the app and powered off the phone. Waited a couple of minutes and powered the phone on. And yes, the music app once again was started on power up and I had to force close again.
