Eseries / Communicators :: E73 - How To Uninstall Applications
Dec 23, 2011
I tried to uninstall applications using menu options in my Nokia E73 phone, but it gave me "Removing failed" message (tried to uninstall Traveller app). Is it possible to unstall apps using Nokia suite software?
since last weeks i'm not able to install or uninstall sis application on my E71: i don't know the last correct installation/uninstallation but now every operation on a sis app is impossible because file is corrupted but the file is ok.
I have a problem on my Nokia E63 in that if I try to install sis/sisx (in other words, Symbian) apps on my phone I get a message saying the file is corrupted, and then the installation is cancelled. If I try to uninstall any sis/sisx apps already installed, I get an error message saying, "Removing failed". The problem started for apparently no reason about 3 months after I bought the phone new, prior to which I had no problem installing/uninstalling sis/sisx apps. No problem with Java apps they install/uninstall with no difficulty -- I have verified that myself. How do I solve this problem? I have searched the discussions forums, but can't find exactly what I'm searching for.I want to soft reset the phone or reinstall the current firmware. The problem with reinstalling the firmware is that I see no option given in Nokia Suite to reinstall the current firmware. Anyone know then how to reinstall the firmware?Otherwise, my other option is to soft reset (*#7370#) (not a restore to factory settings). But I have a few questions before I do that. I understand a soft reset wipes the phone memory.1. Will a soft reset erase the apps which were on the phone when I bought it, namely QuickOffice, Adobe Reader 1.5, Nokia Maps, etc?2. Will a soft reset erase Qt off of the phone? Can any E63 owner who has performed a soft reset (not a factory settings restore) on it, verify whether Quickoffice, Realplayer, Adobe Reader, Qt, etc. were still intact and working afterwards?
Hey! I have trouble opening facebook and twitter on my Nokia E7-00, because when a click on social network icon, it start running but a seconds later it prompt a message that says: "Sorry, please uninstall and reinstall Communities."
A few months earlier I went to Nokia care because my phone had an issue. The problem was not fixed, and my phone was replaced by another Nokia E5. In this phone whenever I try to uninstall some apps an error message "Removing cancelled" is appeared, and the app is not uninstalled. Following seven apps are problematic:
1. Twitter 2. MySpace 3. Bloomberg 4. AP Mobile 5. Chat Apps 6. Hi5 7. Friendster
I uninstalled these apps in my old phone without any problem. I have reset the phone many times, and I have the latest version of the firmware.
I had installed KMS 9.0 in my nokia E71. It asked password code while installing. I forgot the numeric code that I gave. Now while opening Kasperesky it asks that code.its licence has been expired now. I can't update and even can't uninstall this Kasperesky from my E71. I tried installing from application manager. But it won't works
i have a problem with installing applications to my nokia e6-00. I've tried to download application to my phone but i get an error while trying to install it. On the other hand, it installs games perfectly and it all works. I also cannot use Weather application. So, my phone wouldn't install applications, neither from OVI store.
I backed everything up, updated my E72's software and perforned a hard reset. But now, after I performed a restore, applications I bought from Ovi Store are all gone and other software is back!
I want to replace my current memory card for one of a bigger capacity but want to move the apps that are stored on it over to the new card. Not sure how to go about this or even if you can.
Some of my applications keep moving themselves back to the Applications folder, which is fairly darned annoying. Does naybody know if there's a max. number of icons permitted per folder? Or how to prevent this migration?
My phone C6-00 keeps popping the message'' memory full'' when trying to uninstall unwanted applications. I freed up the memory space but i keep getting the same message.
I,m from germany and i installed the file "kmsecurity9379eu2_129945.sis" from ovi store. My mobile phone is Nokia 5230 NAVI.After the trial i want to uninstall the app.But now i need a code to uninstall KMS 9.0.I've never set any code at installation and it's not my pin-code or something like 0000.I tried to ask the people from kaspersky to help me with that problem. At their forum there is an guy named Viktor "Head of Mobile Development" who want's the imei nummers from the people with that code-problem.But i cannot contact him, cause his inbox is always full.
1) I am unable to either open the message section, forget reading or sending messages and it shows he error which says "Messaging Memory full. Close some applications and try again" I have tried every possible way i guess. Have deleted all my messages from the cell( Sim, Memory card and from phone memory as well), but no result.. Still unable to send messages. I tried restarting my cell phone, Closed all applications, infact uninstalled many, Formatted memory card and everything.
2) The message tone in my cell doesnt work. Also it doesnt vibrate when any sms comes. Dont know why it has happened like that. Its ongoing since about 6 months now Nothing has worked for both the problems.
How to uninstall this software? this is really worst i have ever experienced! after installing this i cannot see my call logs at all and when i want to access at lease careme logs i cannot find this anywhere in my mobile. remove this software from my mobile!
I want to uninstall some apps from my newly-purchased C5-03. Other posts here describe doing this by going to application manager>installed apps, selecting the app concerned and then Options. But when I select any app (press/options) or longpress, all I get is details about the app. There is no option to uninstall or do anything else. There is nothing about this in the help file or the user manual. How do I uninstall apps?
I have the Nokia 6600 slide, and I would like to uninstall the Nokia Maps application, because I hardly use it and it takes a lot of space on the memory card (the maps). I suppose that I can just delete the maps in order to free the memory of the card, however would like to know if there is a "proper"
I have Nokia 700 with Belle FP2 installed and according to the Battery Monitor, the Weather Application that comes by default with this version of Belle is eating a lot of my battery in the background. I do NOT use the weather widget and I have wi-fi and mobile data connection turned off most of the time. I also erased all cities from the Weather App, yet still it seems to work in the background and it is responsible for about 50 % of my phone energy consumption. It is impossible to turn it of (I guess it starts any time I turn my phone on), and it is impossible to uninstall it.
i had downloaded several apps and themes from ovi store. i tried all possible menas to locate them. also ion Settings>App Settings>Installed apps. but they are nowhere to be seen and some apps to which were compatible with anna and not with belle also when i connected my phone in mass storage mode. i found sys/bin folder and others containing old apps and some information which are not compatible with belle. so is it safe to remove them because they are just occupying space.
I am new to smartphones and all that they do. There are a number of apps that were pre-installed when I picked up this device. I can uninstall any downloaded app but am unable to see how to uninstall any of the default apps. I can remove them from the desktop, but they will remain on the phone. How can these be removed from the phone and free up the storage they are using?
I have N8 and new 808 Pure View. On N8 I deleted the "Broadcast", "LYNC" and "SHARE POINT" as have not use for them. This did not delete the Office apps (excel and word).
On my 808 I opted to delete Lync and this caused deleting of all MS apps including office.
Did anyone try to delete Lync and Share Point on 808 device? Is it same? how to remove just Lync and Share Point?
