Hey! I have trouble opening facebook and twitter on my Nokia E7-00, because when a click on social network icon, it start running but a seconds later it prompt a message that says: "Sorry, please uninstall and reinstall Communities."

In this phone whenever I try to uninstall some apps an error message "Removing cancelled" is appeared, and the app is not uninstalled. Following seven apps are problematic:
1. Twitter
2. MySpace
3. Bloomberg
4. AP Mobile
5. Chat Apps
6. Hi5
7. Friendster
I uninstalled these apps in my old phone without any problem. I have reset the phone many times, and I have the latest version of the firmware.
have encounted som bugs after installing belle on my nokia E7-00, and I want to reinstall the FW, but when I try this via the Nokia suite, I got an error, stating that something went wrong: Error-code 12048. The solution recommanded is to reinstall nokia suite.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI have been having some 'memory leak' problems with my Nokia e71 recently so took the opportunity just now to attempt to reinstall the firmware via the Nokia Software Updater programme on my PC.It got so far (presumably to the point where it had deleted the previous version and was about to start installing the new copy) when the computer flashed up a message saying that the USB connection had been lost and that I should turn off and then on the phone again and then reconnect the USB cable to finish the job.Problem is, the phone is in a blank screen state due to being halfway through the reinstall and no amount of pressing any button turns it off, on, into any kind of useable mode and that means at the moment that I am a) without a phone, b) uncontactable and c) hugely annoyed.Putting the USB into my other computer (or indeed, restarting the initial one) doesn't do anything because with the phone to all intents and purposes 'off', neither PC detects

View 3 Replies View RelatedI have a problem on my Nokia E63 in that if I try to install sis/sisx (in other words, Symbian) apps on my phone I get a message saying the file is corrupted, and then the installation is cancelled. If I try to uninstall any sis/sisx apps already installed, I get an error message saying, "Removing failed". The problem started for apparently no reason about 3 months after I bought the phone new, prior to which I had no problem installing/uninstalling sis/sisx apps. No problem with Java apps they install/uninstall with no difficulty -- I have verified that myself.How do I solve this problem? I have searched the discussions forums, but can't find exactly what I'm searching for.I want to soft reset the phone or reinstall the current firmware. The problem with reinstalling the firmware is that I see no option given in Nokia Suite to reinstall the current firmware. View 6 Replies View RelatedI took my Nokia E5-00 to unlock it.The display showed the normal screen you see, when the phone is locked.However there was a big black square right in the middle of the screen AND the phone wasn't reacting to inputs.It did not look like a failure of the display itself.Therefore I believed it might be a problem with the OS.Trying to solve it I removed the battery and installed it again a few minutes later.Since then I was not able to switch the phone on any more. It is just doing nothing. Pressing the on/off - button, loading the battery, connecting it to a pc, checking the SIM and SD-card do not make the phone show ANY live sign.Even my PC (Windows 7, connected via USB 2.0 ) does not react to the E5-00 any more.

View 3 Replies View RelatedI can't send MMS from my E71 in Russia (the mobile provider is Megafon) to Switzerland. I've already checked MMS settings and they are ok, because I can send mms within Russia. But it doesn't work when I try to send mms to swiss mobile number.
What can be the possible problem if it's not the mms settings and there is an agreement between mobile providers in these countries to send mms messages?
I just got me a new E5 about a week ago. Despite reading a lot on this forum, I still have two major issues setting up this device; so I need some help. Problem number one is that I cannot set up my email. I have "aol" email that falls under "other" in the email set up section. Some of the screens listed in Pool of Knowledge subsection (like choosing POP3 or IMAP) does not even come up in my e5 during email setup screens. What to do to set up aol email account.
Problem number 2 is that I cannot transfer my contacts and other data from old device (Nokia X2-01) to the new e5. I paired them easily using Bluetooth but when it get to the point of transferring the data, I hear a "click" sound in the e5 and "Bluetooth disconnected." error message comes on. I have tried upteenth times but I get the same result. When I tried to transfer contacts one by one, using Bluetooth business card option it works; but I have over 800 contacts and I would like to use the switch route. What to do to solve this problem?. I hope I do not have a faulty device.

View 3 Replies View RelatedI have Nokia E7, and recently I noticed that whenever I connect this phone to PC either it doesn't detect by the PC, or it detects and within a minute it again disconnected(that message comes in notification area).Nokia suite givs message E7 connected and whenever I want to something file transfer or sync within a minute or so it automatically get disconnected.I can see that in USB cable mode connection the light blinks and charging is ongoing, but nowhere in my PC I can see the "E7". This is started just two weeks back, I uninstall everythign, again reinstall nokia suite, pc connectivity software again everything. but no result.I just want to access my phone in Nokia suite mode and want to access my files. If I put my phone into "Mass storage or media transfer mode" I have seen charging has stopped and my phone not detected by the PC.
View 4 Replies View RelatedThis is driving me to distraction on my Nokia E72 which I have been very pleased with everything on it, but the GPS receiver is pretty dire in my unit.I have access points correctly configured and tried just about every combination of positioning methods to no avail.Most of the time I end up having to set off in the car and sometimes the GPS gets a lock (having been set on waiting for GPS) and sometimes, it just never catches up and I switch it off. Worse, yesterday I started getting directions having supposedly got a lock, for all the wrong roads and directions as the phone thought it was somewhere else!This has been on good clear days and days where it has been overcast.Nokia Maps is set to online mode.How do other people find the GPS in the E72? My phone is on v81.003, I can't upgrade it to a later version as it says there is none.Mine is a SIM free unlocked phone from new.

I updated my OVI Suite software (to 3.0.0.284) and the software on my E52 (to 052.003). I first tried to upload one map and it reported full memory. Then I tried to update existing maps and got the message above. Then I deleted ALL maps and tried to upload ONE map and again there was not enough memory..
I just installed ovi contacts 1.5 on my nokia E72-1 and am unable to login. Everytime i try i get this message: unable to connect, please try again later. My connection is fine (3.5G) as it works in nokia chat and every other application.My firmware version: 031.023.Type: FM-530
View 2 Replies View RelatedI just recently got the Nokia E-72 and after getting a new memory card just yesterday for it I am no longer able to open the Ovi Store application that was already installed on the phone. I also just installed the Ovi Suite on my computer and when it requests to install the "Support software" my phone just gives me the simple error of "Unable to install" with a red symbol next to the words. I also tried installing the Ovi Store from the web and I get the same Unable to Install error that I get when trying to install the Support Software. I already checked the "application manager" it is allows all applications to be installed. I've also tried reinstalling the software via the Ovi Suite and that doesn't do anything either. I looked up how to hard reset the phone as well, and I hold the correct buttons+the top power button at the same time while the phone is of f but it doesn't seem like it does anything when the phone comes back on. I wouldn't mind getting the phone to go back to square one as I haven't had the phone long enough to miss much besides my contacts which I can just synchronize.
