i'm using a school wifi... checked all the settings (security type, ca certificate and all that) and made sure it matched... it still tells me "failed to connect to the network" or "failed to authenticate agaisnt the network" every single time!
My daughters phone used to connect as USB and you could see her phone from the computer (iMac, Windows). Now when she chooses USB it does not prompt for password, and only connects for charging as if she chose Charge Only.
I don't think it's the computer, same effect on our iMac and 2 Windows computers. Is there a setting in her phone which needs to be changed, or some software update (it seems to be fully updated)
My phone just wont connect to desktop, I have the phone registered wiith it, and it shows up the name of my phone and that its connecting, but that stays on forever and doesnt actually connect..
I have a blackberry curve 9360 and I wanted to connect my blackberry to my home router while I'm at home, but away from the computer, so I did this:
-I went to Manage Connections
-I went to Wi-Fi Network
-My network at home, which is my saved network, shows up and I click on it
-instead of asking for a passcode even though it shows that my home internet is locked, it immediately starts trying to connect to my internet, and then says "Failed to authenticate against the network"
Since this happens ALL THE TIME, I went to "other ways to connect", then "Wi-Fi Protected Setup" and I see that the two options are "Press button on router" or "Enter PIN into router."So I clicked the first choice and it tells me to press the Wi-Fi Protected Setup button on my wireless router or its administration screen. That will probably get my internet working on my Blackberry?
My phone asks me where i want to charge, Usb or media sync. and my computer asks if i want to open the files but really all i want to do is use desktop manager. Ive tried the Device manager method, ive uninstalled and reinstalled i dont know what to do?
Just received a new BB Curve 9360. I keep trying to turn off WIFI to save battery life but when I click off WIFI in the Manage Connections box it keeps turning itself back on after a few seconds. Is there some sort of automatic connect function that turns on WIFI if it detects a signal? If so where can turn off this function?

I have a 9360 on Mobilicity Canada, which should allow wifi calling, however I cant find where to enable this.I am told this is carrier dependent, but my carrier seems to support this, so is it locked by the phone, or the build? The phone itself is originally from Wind, and I'm on 7.1.0.523 which I downloaded while travelling (and using a different sim). Do I need to roll back to a mobility specific build?
I wish to connect my BB Curve 9360 to a Sony Bravia TV for viewing videso, pictures and presentations. Can I do it? If so, what type of a cable do I need to have?
I have a brand new BB 9360 with unlimited email, bbm and phone plan (no data plan but I didn't have one on my old phone either and I didn't have this issue). When I'm connected to Wifi, my bbm and email works perfectly. As soon as I leave that wifi connection, it shows I am connected to the Bell network but bbm and email do not work until I turn my phone off then on or make a phone call. It is like it has to reset before really picking up the bell network. I called Bell Canada and they basically told me I have to manually disconnect and reconnect every time I leave a wifi connection. That doesn't even work.
My BB is not connecting to WiFi Following directions, I ran the loader.exe file. Once the reinstallation of the OS, I was able to access WiFi. However, as I turned off the battery to insert the SIM and connected agian I no more accessed WiFi. If I run the loader.exe again comes the error message: BB Desktop SW does not have BB Desktop SW for the device. Contact your provider, etc
So my phone got wiped, lost everything. When i started to set everything up again (wifi etc) i noticed BIS does not connect through wifi anymore. It did before my phone got wiped. Is this temporary or do I need to do some fiddling around?

My blackberry can connect to the net using data but I can't connect using wifi. This only happened recentley and before I was connecting using wifi and there was no problems. On the main screen it displays the name of the wifi that I use but when I try and load a page using the wifi it says it is unable to connect and if the problem persists to contact the service or network provider. I have hard reset it a few times by taking out the battery when its on and I have also reset the network but it still doesn't work.

I recently started using an old blackberry curve 8900. The software is 4.6. I have the blackberry internet service added onto my device. I can use BIS on my mobile network, however whenever I connect to WIFI I cannot use BIS. I have changed default browser config but still no luck.

I recently bought a curve 9300 but I cannot connect to my home wifi, everytime I try it locates it and shows there is a good signal but I get a message saying "failed to associate with the network".I have entered the WEP key a dozen times with and without spaces so I'm very sure it's not that.I've attempted several battery pop reboots recommended by other forums.Everything else on the phone works fine, I'm receiving emails no problem, I have been using the internet, BBM and facebook fine and I have been downloading apps from the app world.I have also received a message from blackberry saying "your handheld has been registered with the wireless network".
Even though i have do all that needs to be done to connect to my home router (Wifi) and my home router name is displayed in the home screen i still cannot connect to the internet.
