Sep 28, 2011Last night when I turned on my wifi at home, the wifi and phone signal bars appeared but were gray and I had no internet/data connection. I checked the wifi settings which indicated I was connected with good to excellent signal. Toggled the Wifi on and off several times, and turned phone on and off, which did not work. Went into wifi settings and told it to forget settings and reconnected, same result. When I turn off wifi, 3G appears and data connection is restored. Left the phone on in the media dock all night, and this morning when I turned on wifi, all was fine. What does gray signal bar mean?

So I'm thinking its a hardware problem-But here's the odd thing: every time I turn it off and on, the call forwarding icon (phone+arrow) appears.When I go into settings/phone/call forwarding it immediately goes away.Â
4G is working fine, although the last couple of days my phone has been randomly forwarding some calls to my voicemail w/o ringing; but not always.

May 19, 2015I've got a LG g3 running Android 5.0 and wifi speeds are drastically reduced if the bluetooth is turned on. Bluetooth doesn't need to be connected to anything, if it's on my speeds are down to about 0.2Mbps and with Bluetooth off they're around 25 Mbps. I've tried a factory reset but didn't make a difference.

Jun 27, 2012Yesterday I decided to delete all my music library on iTunes, to make a better selection of music to put on my iPhone 4S. After the sync with iTunes, I noticed that some album remained were in gray, and unable to play on the phone. I tried to: restore the same albums remained on the phone (nothing happened, just duplicate the grey files with playable ones), change the music library, take off or put on the marks on the manually manage music etc etc....all the possible solutions that I found on the internet....

Jun 29, 2014Music that is not in my current iTunes will not play, and some are grayed out. Some music that was from my iTunes will work like music from cds, but mp3's wont. What I mean when I say not on my current iTunes, is that I had to switch computers due to mine breaking, so I lost all the music from that itunes and had to switch to a new computer. So the deleting and syncing trick will not work since I don't have the music anymore. Its bull if I seriously cant get my music and have to re-download everything. I thought the music would stay on the phone, even if switching computers. Is there any way to get my music to play again?

May 14, 2012The camera on my Iphone 4 has started to take pictures where part of the picture is a big grey rectangle. They look this way both in the iphone photo album and after import to iphoto. When the photo is first taken, the animated shutter opens and first it shows the whole photo for a split second, then it flashes to the grey photo and that photo is animated to the the little thumbnail to the bottom left of the screen. This doesn't happen with every photo, just once in a while and only started happening recently, after an update to iOS 5.1.1.

4 days back faint gray lines started appearing on the bottom of the screen. After another day a small black spot appeared on one side of the grey lines and it has been growing since then.
I visited Apple Service Centre yesterday. They could not diagnose the issue so they sent some pictures to the Singapore team for escalation. I had a word with the singapore team today and they tell me that the black spot is likely due to pressure damage and they will not cover this under warranty.
On being quizzed further, they do not have any clue why the grey lines have occurred.
On being asked how come there are no other signs of damage either to my touchscreen or to my screen body, they hilariously replied the pressure damage is from inside the phone.
When asked how they think I could have applied pressure from inside my phone, they are clueless again.

I go to unlock the screen and on my home screen theres a grey bar that builds up like a "loading bar" only halfway down the screen. (Screenshot below) To get rid of it i have to press the return button and then its gone, I've looked to see if any apps were open but nothing. I had three new text messages two of which I was able to answer. As I was about to read my third text message then my phone's screen went gray and restarted on its own.
