My curve 9300 was working fine connecting to routers and enabling a wifi connection but has now started connecting to router says the connection name at the top but the wifi symbol stays grey. I know this is not a problem with my router as have tried it on different ones in different locations still same result.

No other program can use the wifi connection. I have four E71. Tried it on the second E71 phone. Did the same. Permanently, the wifi is on. Tried a deep hard reset and then installed. Same again.

The Curve can see my home Network when I scan but the connection brakes immediately, give an error message like it couldn't associate with the network.

My husband's brand new Curve 9300 will not connect to our home WIFI network. Although it picks the network up it will not connect stating "cannot find IP address". The network key is correct, & other Blackberrys in household have connected with no problems

When I leave home and return, I have to manually connect back to my home wifi. From what I remember, it used to do that all by itself and connect with any other network that I've connected to in the past automatically. It no longer does that. I'm not finding any answers on Google that work.

I have had it connected in the past and have tried the reboot (taking out the battery whilst still on) but it didn't improve, I have tried to connect via WPS and manually. - Removing the wi-fi setting and reentering them.
- Entering the details manually
- Removing the battery and rebooting the phone
- Reinstally the os over the computer
Nothing seems to work. I know the router is fine as I have the same phone and it connects ok along with several other devices.Has anyone any suggestions before I reset the phone to factory setting?
I can log in here on my desktop and can visit the same page using my BlackBerry 9300 browser but I cannot login. The screen goes white and stays that way. (I have of course latest OS and have tried battery reset)

I have Blackberry curve 9380. Recently I purchased Digisol Broadband router model DG-BG4011N which I am using with BSNL Broadband connection. The trouble is I cant use this wifi connection on my Blackberry. My blackberry discovers this connection, asks for a passpharase and connects to wifi. It even displays on homesvreen as connected but stil I cannot use internet over wifi. Everytime when I access browser, App world etc, the connection being used is my mobile EDGE connection. When I try to use only wifi by disconnecting from Bsnl network, it will give me error. I contacted Digisol helpline, but they also could not help. I have tried changing security on my digisol interface from WPA only to WPA2 and to auto mode, but still cannot use internet over wifi on my Blackberry. Wifi works fine on my laptop. Also my blacberry works fine over wifi at a friends place.

View 4 Replies View RelatedI have a 9700 on swisscom, and I have a problem. My phone used to connect to the 3G Network and BIS perfectly fine until about 5 weeks ago. It still connects to the 3G, but the symbol stays small (no data/no bis). If I turn the network settings to 2G only, I have no trouble connecting to the BIS and Data, and I also don't drop the signal. The wierd thing is that it used to work perfectly and now 3G just doesent properly work.I have tried everything I can think of, I bought a new sim card, reloaded preveious OS versions where It worked on, resend registration message, deleted my bis and so on. What else could I try? as this is 3G phone and I want to use 3G.

I have created the WiFi profile on my phone, the connection get established, my phone get an IP address from the router (that is also a DHCP server) but I can't connect to internet. Also, if I try to ping the phone itself or the gateway (that is the router), the ping times out. I can't figure out which is the problem. To connect using a pin click next'. Having pressed next the message then reads 'provisioning wifi profiles. Enter this pin into your wireless router (and gives a number that changes each time)'. My Blackberry Curve 9300 regularly reverts to a screen saying 'connecting to desktop'. The phone then 'freezes' on that screen and I cannot do anything and the only solution is to open the back, remove and replace the battery and wait for the phone to reboot. This seems to do the trick but it's happening quite frequently which is a major nuisance, particularly since the reboot process takes such an age. Is there anything I can do to stop this happening?
