My spacebar on my phone has not really worked since ive had it (july 2011)It works everynow and again. i havent had a problem with it since christmas,then this past week i havent been able to use it at all.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI've got a Curve 8520, and yesterday my phone randomly started playing up.The space bar is not working at all, the alt key only works when pressed and released (usually I can hold it down to write numerous symbols) and the answer and hang up buttons have to be held down for around 4 seconds to answer/end a call?? All of these problems occurred at the same time leading me to believe it's a software problem? I've tried several hard resets, without success.I haven't installed any new apps or updated software recently.

View 4 Replies View RelatedI am trying to update the software on my Blackberry Bold to OS 5, using the Blackberry Desktop software on Mac OS 10.5. However, each time I try and do the update I am told there is not enough free space on the phone. I have done the soft reboot and now have around 28 MB of free memory. The Blackberry Desktop software tells me I need 22 MB to install the updates. I have three email accounts set up to store messages for thirty days, and very few applications (Facebook, Google Maps etc).The applications I have on my phone do not add up to 22 MB, so even deleting all of them would not create the free space needed, and I don't think all the stored e-mails should take up too much space (unless attachments are stored on the phone memory as well - can someone confirm whether they are?)

View 4 Replies View Relatedi am trying to download and install a few apps but it says i have no space available and i should delete stuff. i have tried to delete everything i can see, but despite the fact i have only BB Messenger, Whatsapp and Blackberry App Manager installed, i still have no space!!
im sure these apps cannot be taking all the device memory (64MB) - so what to do? all vids, pics and audio i have are stored on the memory card.
everytime i press my space bar on my bb curve 8520 it carries on instead of using one space. the only way to stop it going across the screen is to keep pressing delete. ive tried taking it apart and cleaning the copper plates but nothing has changed. what can i do?
View 1 Replies View RelatedI have a BlackBerry 8330 and I am having problems with my SprintTV, NFL Mobile Live App, etc where I cannot watch any video or audio from those apps. I took it into a Sprint Tech Store, and they thought that maybe it was becuase I either had an after market App that was interfereing with the audio/video feeds, or that I was simply using too much memory and it was interfereing with the audio/video. Tehy couldn't tell me where to look for the Device Memory and had no idea how much it came with out of the box and how much I was using.
I need to know how much Device Memory comes on a BB 8330, where to look in my BB to find out how much I'm using, and need to know if there are any suggestions or tricks I can perform to free some up without deleting too many apps (if that's even possible). From the other forum answers I've read, I don't think there's a way to free space without deleting content. I see Device Memory in my Options, but it only says:
File Free: 27080648 Bytes
Is that a lot left, or is that close to being depleted? Is that actually the Device Memory, or is that something else? There's nowhere that tells me how much I started with.

I only have 55.1MB of free space and I cant download apps in app world cos it uses up all the free space. My space has been as low as 6.1MB. This is my 2nd phone from Virgin as I had the problem with the 1st 9300 and I had to send it back and they said that it was a problem that cant be fixed so they sent me a reconditioned phone but this phone seems to have the same problem too.
I have a 4gb media card installed to save all my pics and music onto.
1)i am unable to upgrade my software and also all the time my phones is processing something. please help.

using an app tells you to "free up space on your device to continue" but you have already verified there is enough space on your device than needed by the app (17 gigs free).

View 1 Replies View RelatedI have a Curve 8520 from TMobile (US).I also had a Pearl 8100 from Fido (Canada).I got the Curve unlocked and want to use it on the Fido network instead of the Pearl. I seem to have gotten everything working on the Curve, except for the email.I had the same email accounts (gmail, hotmail) set up on both phones, but for some reason now that I've switched over to the Curve on the Fido network, I can't send or receive email.I've checked all my settings, and they seem right.I can access the web, my Wi-Fi is set up, and I can send & receive texts. Anyone have any ideas about this email problem? Also, I can't remember my account username for the BB website to access my account online to change the email.When I ask to send my password, it says it has been sent to my BB, but of course I can't receive email, so I'm not getting it.
View 5 Replies View Related[Lollipop] Under settings/Apps there is a list of apps together with the number of megabytes it ostensibly uses. I can click on that and see those megabytes divided into App and Date use.
But... Today I uninstalled "Real racing 3", which claimed to use up 84MB (app+data). Immediately after that, the amount of free storage climbed with a whooping 1.14GB ! (and total "App" usage decreased by the same amount).
Is there a more reliable way to find out how much space an app is using?
I have 2.7 GB of space in "other" which puts me over my limit for storage. I have done a restore with no luck. I have nothing to be synced with my phone. I have tried unchecking "open ituens when this iphone is connected" and checking it again but that didnt work either. I didnt have this much "other" until yesterday when i got errors about backups being corrupted. I thought the restore would fix that.

On my tour it connects and everything works fine. On my curve it constantly is looking for a connection and it wont follow me. I have gps set location on under options and did everything I think i need to get it to work.
