BB Curve :: Internal Memory Is About 250 But Presently Available Space Is 70
Mar 20, 2012
actually my internal memory is about 250 but presently available space is 70 .i want to increase this internal memory by deleting files.how to delete and increase my memory?
Why can't the BB OS use some of the removable memory card space to free up the internal memory. To me this is a no brainer, most of us have 16 or 32gig cards, I would be more than happy to set aside some space so the phone could run better. Most of the new flash cards these days are reasonably fast and could easily be used as a swap file place holder or reside some of the dormitory features.
I recently pirchased nokia X6 16 gb... its totally fresh i haven't put any songs, or files in it.. but when i see the memory status: for phone memory it shows 276 mb free(out of 512 mb) and used is 44 mb where as in internal memory 334 mb is used and 14.6 gb is free.. where are the remaining space
Is there any way to browse the internal phone memory on the Desire (the same way you can browse the SD card's contents) or otherwise see what apps/files are taking up what space in the internal memory? Like many others, I'm constantly getting the "low space" message, and I'm trying to figure out what's taking up all my internal memory!
I have a Nokia XpressMusic and I bought a memory card with (allegedly) 1.9 GB of storage, yet the card runs out of space when I use up a small percentage of space. I have formatted the thing, but still no joy.
I have Blackberry Curve 9300 and its internal memory is 256MB only. Whenever i try to install new apps, the memory always lacks. How would it be possible for us to install apps directly on media card and use it on phone. I have googled and found that can be archived and used so that the apps will be saved on the media card, but by doing so still the phone memory only occupied.
I know that you can plug in an 8520 via a USB cable and access the SD card, however I need to access the internal memory. How can I do this without installing the full Desktop manager software?
I have a BlackBerry 8330 and I am having problems with my SprintTV, NFL Mobile Live App, etc where I cannot watch any video or audio from those apps. I took it into a Sprint Tech Store, and they thought that maybe it was becuase I either had an after market App that was interfereing with the audio/video feeds, or that I was simply using too much memory and it was interfereing with the audio/video. Tehy couldn't tell me where to look for the Device Memory and had no idea how much it came with out of the box and how much I was using.
I need to know how much Device Memory comes on a BB 8330, where to look in my BB to find out how much I'm using, and need to know if there are any suggestions or tricks I can perform to free some up without deleting too many apps (if that's even possible). From the other forum answers I've read, I don't think there's a way to free space without deleting content. I see Device Memory in my Options, but it only says: File Free: 27080648 Bytes
Is that a lot left, or is that close to being depleted? Is that actually the Device Memory, or is that something else? There's nowhere that tells me how much I started with.
I have recently upgraded from a 8520 to 9300 and Im having problems with the application memory free space. I only have 55.1MB of free space and I cant download apps in app world cos it uses up all the free space. My space has been as low as 6.1MB. This is my 2nd phone from Virgin as I had the problem with the 1st 9300 and I had to send it back and they said that it was a problem that cant be fixed so they sent me a reconditioned phone but this phone seems to have the same problem too.
I have a 4gb media card installed to save all my pics and music onto.
So I just downloaded an icon pack and an alert popped up telling me I have 2.33mb of internal storage space left. When I go to my settings then select storage, it says I still have over 18gb available of internal storage remaining.
I have bought xperia NeoV 4 days ago, I need some clarity on the internal storage space.Like the Internal storage space is said to be 320 MB, but when I have checked in Settings >> Applications >> Manage Applications in downloaded section the system says that internal storage consumed is 279 MB. But when I manually add the space consumed by each applications i get only 126 MB, can I see which folder/application is using 153 MB extra space and is hidden from display? Is the system showing extra space consumed than actual? I have cleared all the cache and history also, even though the phone displays 279 MB consumed. how can I regain that extra space which phone is not displaying.
I have a Telus Curve 8330 and only have about 2 mb left of space so the phone has been freezing. I have a 8 gb micro sd card in there and I wanted to save my apps and everything possible in there.
i just recently bought an htc one v. it's my first android phone, and i think it's pretty awesome. i just noticed though, that it says 0.98gb on my total internal storage. as far as i know, the one v has 4gb internal storage. could it be possible that the phone software actually takes up 4gb of internal space?
I have just upgraded the sd card to a 16gb. All went well, but I notice that the internal phone storage is just 4 mb. How can I increase the internal phone storage i.e. at the expense of some of the 16gb sd card storage?
my 32gb Galaxy s6 Edge Plus is running low on space and my Dropbox account that is attached to the phone is also full and therefore is not uploading/ storing my new pictures/videos into the "cloud".Dropbox is offering an upgrade to 1TB of storage for $10/month .... however there is no middle storage plan apparently. It goes from Free to $10/month.what are the best cloud-storage options out there that I can connect my phone to and that enables automatic storage uploads of pictures/videos?
After installing many apps my phone now says that its low on memory. but i do have 1.75 GB available space on my memory card. How can I install the Apps on memory card instead of phone memory?

I'm having a small problem here. The memory of both memory card and internal memory of my N900 is read only. I tried a reboot, reconnecting, ... Nothing helps.I connect it to a Debian and windows XP, none of them work.Any suggestions somehting like fsck? I know fsck is on the device but I don't know how to use it well?
When I start any application on phone its show a message like saying that Low memory space but there is 30 mb of free space in my phone phone model is 5233
Does anyone have any tips or tricks to free up storage? My understanding is the phone has 512MB, however out of the box, maybe 60MB tops to install anything. I realize you can't expect the full 512, but having less than 100MB is pretty ridiculous.
My Nokia X6 - 32Gb internal memory is totally gone. All my photos and music are erased or the memory card is somehow broken. What should I do? I've already tried to reboot it.
I've recently bought a new htc wildfire s and i compared the internal storage with the one written on the box.. theres a pretty big difference: i have 150 mb and on the box says it should be 512 mb.
Internal1 GB (320 MB user available), 512 MB RAM [URL] But when i go to Setting->App->Manage Applcations -> Tap All Internal Storage is 420 MB (example: 269 MB used + 151 MB free) & And, when i tap Running, it shows RAM is 302 MB (201 MB used + 101 MB free)Why there is a huge difference on RAM. i don't care about internal memory much but RAM should be 512 MB in total. This is not what i paid for. How can i fix this?
What is the best way to either rip a dvd or download a movie then transfer it to the internal memory? I'm fine with purchasing so steps to acquire a movie for free aren't important. I bought a movie thru Google Play which worked great until I was in a rural area with poor signal and the video kept buffering. Got me thinking relying on the cloud isn't the best option all the time. Would be nice to watch a movie while on a plane like I could with my ipod.
I have a Sony Z3 and i tried to make the update to android 5.0 Lolipop and i can't because the phone is telling me "Could not verify" and after this the download starts again.
The problem is that each download takes memory from my phone and i dont know where to look and delete it and free my internal memory back.
My GS6 was at around 30% battery when I went to bed last night and this morning when I woke up was dead.
I plugged it into the factory fast charger and original cable, and although it gets warm to hot, it doesn't switch on or respond in any form.
The automatic backups seem to have only backed up to mid-Aug, and I have photos I would like to get off the phone from prior that date. Why the automatic backup didn't do them. A family member passed away and I have photos I would really like to have.
Is there an internal memory card, or are these memory chips attached to the board? I have the GS6 128GB edition..
I have had a Xperia Neo for 2 weeks now, and the available internal memory already dropped from 260 to 209. Just today I still had 221, then I updated 4 apps (I only have like 5 extra apps, it updated speech recognition, touchnote,..) and it dropped to 209. At this rate I will have no internal memory by the end of the year.. I move everything to SD with APPS2SD when possible. Any tips on keeping the internal memory high?
