BB Curve :: 8520 Space Bar And Other Keys Are Not Working?

I've got a Curve 8520, and yesterday my phone randomly started playing up.The space bar is not working at all, the alt key only works when pressed and released (usually I can hold it down to write numerous symbols) and the answer and hang up buttons have to be held down for around 4 seconds to answer/end a call?? All of these problems occurred at the same time leading me to believe it's a software problem? I've tried several hard resets, without success.I haven't installed any new apps or updated software recently.
Recently, the volume buttons, pause/play, fast forward and rewind media keys only work when I am on the Now Playing screen whereas they were working on every other screen in the past; even when my phone was locked. I don't know why it's suddenly not working?
After someone called me today on my Blackberry 8520 it was hanged. Even I already took out the battery and have it rebooted the keys does not worked. But before the call I still could send message and make a call.
Every keys of my curve 8520 don't work. I have tried many times to remove the battery but it is always the same, the phone start and ask my PIN but i can't log in because all the keys don't work! Even those witch are above. I have tried the safe mode but it doesn't work (because i think the key don't work)...
since I last looked my phone refuses to recognise input from keys. The keyboard, top keys (red./green, menu, return) and even the side shortcuts are all useless. I've tried a battery pull, it turns on ok and I can use the scroller to move along the shortcut bar, but as soon as it times out and the light goes off even that won't bring function back. I'm pretty much stuck with a paperweight.

everytime i press my space bar on my bb curve 8520 it carries on instead of using one space. the only way to stop it going across the screen is to keep pressing delete. ive tried taking it apart and cleaning the copper plates but nothing has changed. what can i do?
Just about every day, my BlackBerry Curve 8530 becomes unresponsive to any keys. I use Password Lock (because I have no choice--I upgraded and lost Keyboard Lock) and if I see that the red light is blinking and I go to "sign in" and it won't respond to any keys, including the convenience keys, dial/hang-up, trackpad and click, and Media buttons. However, the phone is still operating and will respond to new messages coming in, phone calls (though you can't use any keys), and Bluetooth, etc. I've tried everything I can think of, but nothing fixes it except for pulling the battery (and waiting for it to restart--which takes longer than my computers). This did not happen back under Keyboard Lock before I upgraded the first time. I'm currently on 5.0.0.734Does anyone have any idea of what's happening, or what can be done to get out of the situation when it does occur, short of yanking the battery?
Yesterday evening I updated my blackberry curve 8520, it then needed re booting and since then it has frozen, the screen and the keys? Was working perfectly before with no problems. I have taken battery/sim card out but still nothing. I have also tried to use my blackberry desktop but it is still trying to connect.
I'm not to good with the BB n i got the 8520. I do have a memory card in my BB, (i hope its working right). but anyway I like to save a lot pics and videos. The apps I have are twitter and facebook. I have 137532864bytes for my file free. Is that a lot of memory/space? Should I get a bigger memory card?
The keys on the key pad of my BB curve 8520 are inverted (4 of them) when I press the A key I get the Q and vise versa and so are the W and the Z. The funny thing is that the symbol keys on those same keys are correct! How I can correct this.
My iPhone 4 volume keys and silent/ringer keys are not working and it doesn't ring and vibrate when i get a call or text and neither the sound working when i use any app like games etc. but when i go to settings and change the ringtone then its ringing and the sound is working when i play music but there is a problem as well the headphone dock is not working.
I have a Blackberry Curve 8530 and The a key stopped working, it wont scorll down in the bbm app, and some of the keys are being difficult, the back button is verry finicky as well. This all just happedned at once. I have not dropped it or got it wet. why has it just stopped working randomly?
My spacebar on my phone has not really worked since ive had it (july 2011)It works everynow and again. i havent had a problem with it since christmas,then this past week i havent been able to use it at all.
I woke up this morning to my phone not working.My trackball is able to scroll left-right and up-down, but unable to click. As well, none of the other keys work.I've tried resetting my phone by pulling the battery out & I've deleted all the apps that were on it via the Desktop Software.I can't answer the phone, check/ respond to texts nothing. I bought the phone at Radio Shack a little less than a year ago.I've never had water damage, my strip is still white.
My 7, 9 and space keys have suddenly stopped working.I have tried: Removing the battery and then replacing it,sitting it on the dash board of the car on a hot day without the battery and placed in dry uncooked rice for nearly a week.When I did the last one the 7 and 9 keys worked once!
Greetings, blackberry 8310: some keys are not working, now normally I would think it's because it has gone through some rough punishment, but odd enough, sometimes they work. The Keys i'm talking about are the Z-C-N-M-SPACE-RIGHT SHIFT-LOWER VOLUME keys, but, when I press Z like 10 times it starts to work, so does the C, and then the N and M and SPACE, and what's even weirder is that when the keys do work, they work without any problem whatsoever, I think it's a software problem or something or an OS problem but I'm not an engineer, so I dont know.
I put my AT&T 8310 in an aftermarket hard shell case, trying to protect the keyboard. When I pulled it out some of the keys weren't working. Gradually some are coming back, but the delete/backspace key doesn't work (sometimes it kicks in and does a Pac Man) and the Alt Back combination to bring up switch applications isn't working even though both keys work independently.
Sisters 8330 turns on and screen lights up fine, but none of the keys work. Including the ball and side keys.Any idea on how to fix? Tried restoring on Desktop Manager but got some sort of error.
I have a Curve 8520 from TMobile (US).I also had a Pearl 8100 from Fido (Canada).I got the Curve unlocked and want to use it on the Fido network instead of the Pearl. I seem to have gotten everything working on the Curve, except for the email.I had the same email accounts (gmail, hotmail) set up on both phones, but for some reason now that I've switched over to the Curve on the Fido network, I can't send or receive email.I've checked all my settings, and they seem right.I can access the web, my Wi-Fi is set up, and I can send & receive texts. Anyone have any ideas about this email problem? Also, I can't remember my account username for the BB website to access my account online to change the email.When I ask to send my password, it says it has been sent to my BB, but of course I can't receive email, so I'm not getting it.
I have a blackberry tour as well as a curve 8530/20 for verizon. I have trapster downloaded on both my tour and my curve from blackberry app world. On my tour it connects and everything works fine. On my curve it constantly is looking for a connection and it wont follow me. I have gps set location on under options and did everything I think i need to get it to work.
My Blackberry 8520 has a red light come on when the battery is inserted into the phone after 5 seconds it will go onto a completely white screen with nothing on it no reset button or an error code so i tried upgrading the software but on the pc it will come up with unable to connect to your device reconnect your device then enter the password if needed.Whats wrong with it Nuked Bricked White Screen Of Death or Dead?
the s key isn't working on my phone, i've took the battery out and looked if it had be water damaged and it hasn't, I can't access my phone as i've put my password on and it contains an S
My wife - who owns the Blackberry - has just called me to say that her Curve has partially stopped working. We know about the locking up on Desktop Manager (removing the battery seems to cure that) but she now has the key pad not working but the trackball does - well, it navigates the screen but depressing it doesn't do anything. Thus the phone is useless.
She did answer it whilst in the bath last night but it didn't get into the water. It has been opened, battery removed and air dried earlier today just to be on the safe side. However, still causing problems.Does anyone know if this is a fault that can be easily cured, phone is just about over a year old now, bought from a specialist phone chain retailer - T Mobile themselves.
I got a 8520 the other day, I saw the app world an thought great Download this have all these beautiful Apps. When i come to download App world it says "It doesnt have the right software" I do not have a service plan, Is this to blame? I live in the UK, Im on Orange. My software is up to date?
When i start camer is displays that" could not start camers. Close other applications and try opening the camera. I really do not understand the issue.
My daughter bought a Blackberry Curve 8520 from Carphone Warehouse with a Vodaphone PAYG Sim in it. She got BBM to work fine with me and a number of her friends. After a few weeks, I bought her a pay monthly SIM and got her original PAYG number transferred across to the Pay Monthly SIM. Since then, she hasn't been able to get BBM to work. All her friend requests are 'Pending Authorisation' and she cannot send or receive messages. The Internet is also not working, although she hadn't tried that until now, so I don't know whether it was working before. Text and voice calls are, and always have been, fine.
Battery pull Changing all permissions to allow for both core and add-on apps Deleting eaach other's contacts and trying to add them again Checking the vendor ID, which is showing as 301, which I gather is Carphone Warehouse (not sure whether this should be Vodaphone or Carphone Warehouse?)
