I had a BB Curve from 2008-2011. Yes, I switched to a different smartphone. I have need for access to some of the info that was backed up from my BB during 2010. Is it possible for me to get to this? I was using the Desktop BB software at the time, which has since been removed from my PC.
This probably a dumbass question but i was wondering if there is a way to access the internet wirelessly on my pc through my phone.i have heard of people doing this but im not sure on models of phones or service carriers.

HTC One. I turned it off last night for a movie and turned it back on a couple hours later -- only to find I could not access my keyboard in text or email. Whenever I try to send a text the "tap to speak" voice input option is all that comes up. I can't seem to access the keyboard by tapping the "keyboard" icon to the left of the mic. I tried disabling Google Voice Input but can't seem to make that work.
I have SwiftKey installed as the keyboard and turning it on or off doesn't seem to work. I used an iPhone for three years and never had problems like this... I was so excited to switch to an android but am slowly regretting my decision, because now I more or less cannot use my smartphone without my keyboard
iPhone won't 'sleep,' requires hard shutdown.Zero doesn't work on keypad. Many other problems. Can use phone only through 'contacts.' Talked to two Apple techs, one of them Level 2. Completely reset it twice. I assume they charged for the talks.Took it to an Apple store. No attempt or offer to repair. The store didn't even try, just said they could sell a new one for $199 -- even though our ATT contract expires in 10 weeks. Not the kind of service we expect from Apple. (We use MACs, iPads, iPods and two iPhones.) Meanwhile, we're out-of-luck with a useless iPhone that obviously has faulty firmware and other failures.
Info: iMac, Mac OS X (10.7.3), also use iPhones and iPads
I downloaded a couple of maps to my phone from the Ovi suite. How do I acess them? I go on Nokia maps and what I can acess, I could before downloading the maps? I thought that downloading a map of a country would enable one to see 3D buildings and such, if that is the case then how does one view the map? Is there a way to "load" it up from your phone? (in my case N86)
i use bb 9700 but it has been used by a friend before transfering it to me,i wish to use my own email add on it but i m finding it difficult to register my email account on the phone.how do i wipe his email address on the phone and creat mine on it.
i had need to remove my battery and sim, to reaccess the phone its asking for my username and password. i KNOW beyond any doubt that what i am entering is correct. it says that they are not valid. when clicking the "forgotten password" link, it says to ensure that blackberry id has been activated and that i have entered the correct email. I HAVE ENTERED THE CORRECT EMAIL.
My phone is broken, and there is a diary app that i logged each day of the progress of my son. Its very precious to me and i wont give up on getting to that app. Tge screen is broken, tried 3 replacement screens and it wont turn on. Tried new batteries too. Plugged it into a computer and it wont come up. There is a slight buzz sound when its plugged in, not sure what that means. All i need is the entries on that app.

Bought an E72 in preference to Blackberry. Want to use it to get work email but rest of Co. uses Blackberry. IT dept say I can't therefore access work email on my phone as the server is specifically set up for Blackberry. Is this just them being inflexible and is there a way I can get my work email on this phone given their feedback?
My problem is that I forgot my unlock pattern. My Xperia Z3 is running Android Lolipop/5.0. I've been looking at every nook and cranny in the internet, but every method stated on these pages/sites didn't work for me (hardware buttons)
My child dropped my phone from the top of the stairs, and my screen will not display anything it has several hair line cracks on the screen.- if i swipe my fingerprint i can hear the phone opening but again display doesn't work. I have removed all my pictures and files that are visible to an external hard drive, all is left to access is the pictures and files i have in private mode. I wish to remove these before sending phone back, its essential i retrieve these hidden folders. Is there any possible way to gain access from my pc???? i can swipe my finger to unlock phone but thats it.
As hard as I try not to I still accidentally hit those web access buttons. I try to remember to hit the end button every time I put the phone down, but I keep racking up internet access time. Three hours at on time and many other shorter instances as well. I know this is one of the main design features of this phone, but it's not the reason I bought it. I liked the other features on the phone and figured there would be an easy way to disable web access.
I just picked up an LG GS170 phone (low-end flip-phone) with T-Mobile. I was able to use a micro-USB cable and Windows device driver I found from LG so my computer would recognize the phone in the device manager. But I can't do anything with it--no mounted "drive" and I haven't been able to find any Software (LG or third-party) that recognizes the phone (upload/download/edit address book; upload ringtones or wallpapers). I could do that with my old Motorola V195 phone. I have found some website that claim to have "apps" for the GS170 phone (wallpapers, small programs -- jar or zip files) but I can't do anything with them since I don't now how to upload them to the phone.Any ideas for "mounting" the phone, or programs that will talk to it at least for things such as backing up the address book?
I am wonderimng just how safe the iphone 4 is - if someone has access to your phone (say a family member) can they put sometrhing on ur iphone (that isn't jail broken) that tracks your activity - particularly things like messages in facebook (by using the messenger app that you can down load from the app store)? If so is there anyway to tell if it's been done? Everything I read seems to indicate that its not possible to install spyware on an iphone - but strange things happen - including slow response and being logged out of online accounts (ie facebook messenger). I know that one solution would be to restore to factory defaults but when you do this is it ok to restore your phone from back up or should it be rstored like a new phone (especially if the itunes account is a shared account)?
My iPhone 4S is stuck on the log in screen. Out of nowhere has come the voice over telling me every button i push (and announcing every text or notification I get) but when I enter the passnumber it goes no further, I have powered it down several times and reset it a couple of times to no avail, . It receives calls which I can answer, and texts and notifications -- its just I cannot enter it all.
regarding apps when they ask for permission to access your call, msg, etc on installion. I was wonder if it's safe to install such apps which want total control and also if there is a software to block them from access on your phone.
