I have a recurring alarm appearing every day until forever in my calendar. I would like to delete it altogether but can't seem to do so. When I choose "delete" it says:Delete recurring alarm?
- Delete the series
- Delete this occurence
But neither works, sometimes that even creates another identical alarm instead of deleting it. how to get rid of this?
I reside in UAE, I need to setup an alarm on my bold 9900 which is off by default on Fridays & Saturdays as its weekly off here in UAE and one which operates normally from Sundays - Thursdays.

The event isn't synching across iCloud for some reason. It is only on my phone, so I want to delete it. There is no "edit" button on the event and, thus, no option to delete it.

I entered a recurring appointment on my PC in gmail/calendar and it synced fine to my phone. Now I don't need the item on my calendar on my Storm anymore and have deleted it from the calendar on my PC but it keeps coming up on my phone. How do I get it off of my phone calendar? I know how to delete it one at a time, but is there a way to delete the entire one all at once?

View 6 Replies View RelatedAny ideas as to what I'm doing wrong here? Sometimes (about 1 day a week), I'll set my alarm, but it will not go off. When I look at the phone, it'll have the pop-up indicator thing saying "DISMISS" or "off" (can't remember exactly what it says), that indicates that the alarm was triggered, but it doesn't actually make the alarm sound.Any ideas why this may be happening? I am 100% sure the alarm is set to the right time, and the AM/PM is correct, and the phone is not on "Silent", but the alarm won't actually ring? It doesn't do it all the time, but maybe only once every 7-10 times I set the alarm, and for the life of me, I cannot figure out why.This is a big problem for me because I don't have a regular alarm clock, and I use it to wake me up for work. Twice this month I have been late for work because my alarm didn't go off.Can anyone out there possibly help me diagnose this problem? I think my boss thinks that I'm lying to him when I tell him my alarm doesn't go off, and it's really becoming a problem.

When I had a recurring event before it gave the choice to delete the occurrence or the series. Now when I go to delte the appointment it doesnt give me that choice. it just says delete or cancel.
View 8 Replies View Relatedmy blackberry curve has stopped working again, this is the third time that the fault has developed and this time it lasted a week, each time the device gets returned I'm assured that the fault has been rectified. So far its had the software upgraded, its also had the keypad replaced and an internal service and its now broken again
I have been onto vodafone and all they can do is repair the device again but there getting nowhere with it as each repair only lasts a week is there anyway I can get this replaced through blackberry as vodafone seem to be completely rubbish at resolving this one. I don't even mind getting a refurbished unit or an older model, just something that works. I have tried redoing the firmware, I have also done numerous battery pulls but I'm getting no luck
I am a busy mom and my kids often have appts that run 5-20 days at a time. On my od curve I was able to schedule recurring appointments on the new curve 8530 model the opton is not available. Is there a solution to this? ( I sure hope so! )

I'm using 4 (16GB model) and it has the latest iOs (5.1). This odd error occurs when I try to install something new from the app store (whether it is free or paid does not matter). It only happens when the item is new. If I remove something I already had and re-install it - then no problem.

I tried the "menu > delete" option, it asks me if I'm sure, I click 'Yes' and then nothing happens. The alarm is stil there and when I click on it, I dont't have the option to change it from daily to weekly or anything. If I try to change the time, it stays exactly where it is. Basically it seems immovable.

I have the BB Curve 9300 and each time it is rebooted, I end up with duplicate copies of the text messages I have in the saved messages folder. When I delete one of the duplicate copies, I end up with some messages that cannot be opened/read.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI am aware that there have been issues raised previously and particularly one thread regarding the time delay between deleting emails on the server which remain on the BB.
My problem is an inability to delete emails on the BB. This problem only affects the Gmail email linked to my BB, not the other email accounts. Prior to linking the Gmail account to the BB, I spent time archiving messages from the Gmail account. This was 10 days ago.
So today I ring my carrier (Orange) for advice. They tell me that there are over 3500 messages in the inbox on the Gmail server and that is what is causing my problem. Whilst speaking to them, I was able to look at the server and confirm that there are only a couple of hundred opened messages on the server as far as I am concerned exactly as I expected.
I do have messages in other folders but the sum total is not per Orange's advice. Its worth noting that there are many many more messages on the respective servers for the other accounts for which no problem exists.
Some older sms messages I can't delete. It will clear the chat but not the message details. Any recent ones can be deleted in the normal way selecting message and pressing delete.

It seems that I end up with multiple copies of a contact and then the synch gives me an error code 0x80040fb3 - error encountered. I tried to delete all of the contacts in the address book and resych. After attempting to delete the contacts, there are seven versions of the same contact. I cannot open or delete the contact. I have tried deleting the address book from the Blackberry desktop but that did not work.

Some I have deleted, others I have ignored, but they are still coming through. View 11 Replies View RelatedWhenever I set a reminder for an event (meeting, to do etc) and was not there to turn off or set to snooze when the alarm goes off, the phone stops vibrating. The light continues to blink, but no matter what buttons I press or press and hold, even the power button, the light continues to blink and the phone hangs. The only way is to remove the battery and restart the phone.
Is this a bug in the phone? I've never had such problems with previous Nokia phones. With the previous phones, once the user forgets to turn off the reminder alarm or set it to snooze, after a minute or so, the phone stops vibrating and blinking and the message hides in the background.
