I am adding a new email account (a work account) to my 8520 and I need a symbol for the address (xxxusername@company.com). The appears as when I yse synbol above the g in email and other text but NOT in the email address field when adding a new username. Also, cannot just copy and paste - the symbol disappears. I have changed gont, rebooted, everythign! It is driving me nuts.

I have 2 symbols on my phone. One is a little house with a chimney next to the Orange logo - it is sometimes green and sometimes red.
The other symbol is sometimes on the left of the 3G and I can only describe it as a box with a dot in the middle and a hook coming out of the top!
When trying to use my Blackberry app world on my Blackberry curve it is continuously telling me to accept terms and conditions but that is it, I can';t go Any further.also ...There are two symbols on my home screen and I have no idea what they mean. One is The same symbol you get When a message comes through but without The red sign. The other is a golden globe with number 1 on The left side.

View 5 Replies View RelatedI have the Blackberry Curve 9300, v5.0.0.846, bundle 1440, platform 6.3.0.39, and I noticed on BBM and on Twitter and such, that when people post some symbols or small different lettering and such, they show up as small black squares instead of what they actually posted. A friend of mine put in their BBM name "love" in a different type lettering, but all I could see was 4 small black squares. It wasn't until I looked at my friends phone, who has a bold, that I noticed it actually said something, whereas I thought my friend had actually put the small black squares. It seems work fine on emulator 9800, but when I run it on device (Blackberry Torch 9810) the authentication screen shows a blank white space over browser field that makes authentication screen disappear.

Recently, I have not had the charger for three days, as my brother took it, so my phone was dead for three days. When I got the charger back and charged it up, the keyboard wouldn't work, then it would go dead even though I am pushing the button that turns it on. First, I couldn't remember my username/password combination for BIS. I rang my service provider several times and was told that it was nothing to do with them and that only Blackberry could sort out the situation. Well eventually I managed to get in to my email settings and set up two email accounts, however there was still one more I wanted to set up, but when I tried to log in again it wouldn't work! My only problem is that I don't have an option that says 'Add account.' Here are the steps I've followed:
1) Go to Email Setup
2) Choose 'I want to create or add an email address.
3) Click next
4)Click next again
5)Then, I get a message which says 'Existing Users, to log in, please provide your username and password.'
I don't have an option to add an account. When I put in my username and password into the fields, I get a message saying please enter a valid username. (My service provider already set up my Gmail, and couldn't add the other one. I told him I'd figure it out)
When I'm trying to fill the field in the browser, to identify myself on my school website, there's an error message that says "complete field". I can"t put my complete email address.
View 2 Replies View RelatedI have a E72 latest firmware bought in the UK, made in Finland.The keyboard appears to be a English design with no other symbols but the software seems to be finnish becaue when i press the full stop button it comes up with ä and i have to press ! to use the full stop. There are other keys like this too.
