Feb 14, 2012I recently updated to the new OS version, but when I went to set up my email accounts again, it's says "Sorry, unable able to continue your session. Please log in again." I know for a fact that the passwords are correct because it allows me to see the passwords.

Dec 29, 2015New Galaxy six, did the whole gmail sync to get my contacts transferred. Also since the gmail account set-up, I'm getting so much more junk in both of my accounts. It's obviously not as secure as my other emails. But bottom line, my mail won't send from yahoo but will from my imap account with century link. My old LG had me set up as yahoo being imap, the new Galaxy set it up as pop? I can't access my outgoing settings anymore on my old phone so don't know what to change them to?

Mar 21, 2010I joined Nokia Messaging service, downloaded the last version software using my Nokia E71 phone. When I signed for the service it asked me for my email account details, so I could not put the settings manually. The hotmail account works fine, but the other account cannot send messages. I cannot change the outgoing settings using my phone and I cannot edit the information on the nokia messaging website.
The incoming server seems to be ok (mail1.doctors.org.uk) but I cannot change the server details : smtp2.realmail-asp.co.uk. My provider is Tmobile (they gave me this: smtp.t-email.co.uk) they were not helpful and told me that they mainly support blackberry. My email accounts were working fine until I installed Nokia Messaging. I find Nokia Messaging very professional for messaging, but unsure if I will be able to make it work.

Apr 19, 2010Got my BB curve 8025 at the weekend and have encounted afew things i didnt understand serched the net and found this site which as been a god send! I'm trying to set up email but atm its only giving me the option for setting up work email account with a BB enterprise server - I just want to set up a normal email account using my normal hotmail account but i cant get any further along as it asks for my enterprise activation password - which i obviously dont have?
Also - a few friend have gien me their pin so i can add them on BBM, i type the pin and it says contact pending but the person/s im trying to add get no notification that i'm trying to add them - we try it the other way with me giving them my pin and get the same result WHAT AM I DOING WRONG?

However, I am trying to set up a couple of business accounts (.co.uk and .eu domains), and althought they work ok in most respects (they pick up all incoming e-mails, and also copies of outbound e-mails created on my laptop), the phone does not seem to be able to reliably send e-mails: they get stuck in the outbox.

Their instructions were to use incoming server mail.hughes.net and outgoing server smtp.hughes.net with authentication. Anything beyond that, they want me to contact the phone manufacturer. Because I can receive email I believe I have the settings correct, but I have tried just about everything I can think of and can't send email from the phone. I receive a "wrong account settings" message after sending. Is there something in the settings that I am missing?

Aug 22, 2011I haven't had any problems with my blackberry torch when I first got it having set up all my email accounts fine. Now however, I received a message asking my to verify my email address, so in setup, email accounts, there is a list of my accounts. When I type in the password and type verify - I get a message "sorry, unable to continue your session."
Looking online, I've read that I need to register my phone with 02 my service provider. So, when I go to the correct page and enter my pin and IMEI for my phone I receive another message "Your account is not accessible via the HTML browser..." Again, looking online this is due to my phone automatically registering.
I have seen that you can change this in the same email account option where you add emails, but, when I click on the email account option like mentioned before, it presents me with a list on my emails to verify but no other options. I don't know what I need to do now to start my emails coming through again.

Nov 30, 2010I recently updated the Core Application software on my 9800. The version is now 6.0.0.668, bundle 2949. When I go into the email setup, because since the update I've been receiving no email, I am presented with a list of the email addresses which I have used in the past on the device and I'm asked to verify the passwords for the various accounts. However when I put in a password for any of the accounts I always get the same response 'Sorry, unable to continue your session. Please log in again'. This is always the response whether it's a POP3, IMAP or webmail account. I have checked that there should be add and delete options in the menu but all that is available are Switch App and Close. I have also looked at a number of backups but do not have any option to restore email settings.

Jun 2, 2012I have a facebook account already set up for a while now. Now that facebook has the stay connected with your smartphone I have tried to connect my phone with facebook. I get a link sent immediately and everytime I try to install I get a message that reads your session has expired. This is within a few seconds of clicking on the link. I received this phone from my husband and believe it is already installed as I receive notifications from facebook on my blackberry but can not respond as I have to sign in.
