I have put a 8GB memory card in my new phone. When I try to update my Nokia maps the uploader only installs nokia maps v1.0. Uploader says I have version 0.0.13h? It won't install the latest maps version 3.0. I copied the files from the memory card which came with the phone to my 8GB card but this doesn't fix the problem.

I used the BlackBerry Desktop Software and clicked the "Update my device" button in updating my BlackBerry Curve device software version. The process was started last Monday, November 15, 2010 but until now is not yet finish (Thursday, November 18, 2010). Is this normal? I cannot disconnect my device because it said that "During these steps, do not disconnect your device or interrupt this process as it could make your device unusable."

I tried to install the latest version of iOS via wifi which I have done many times before with no problem. This time I ended up with the phone stuck in recovery mode. If I connect via cable to iTunes, it tells me that I will need to use recovery and restore. I would very much like to attempt to save photos and contact updates done since the last restore.Â

just bought this device, trying to install some apps, and getting the "device radio is turned off" issue. i read the forum and tried the battery suggestion, rebooting, and all that. i do not have data plan on this phone, not sure if that is causing it, but my wifi is working fine as i was able to browse ebay and Internet.
View 2 Replies View RelatedI have a Nokia N97, happily using Ovi Maps and recieved a text stating newer, better more efficient version now available, so I updated through the software updater, and now it WILL NOT NAVIGATE. I use mine in offline mode, so it uses GPS only, and it finds me, and my current lcoation very quickly, but then when you add a route it just locks onto "Waiting for GPS" with a map image of my destination address, and no matter where I am location wise the GPS navigation NEVER starts. A family member has an N97 also, from another network provider, and exactly the fault has appeared on there N97 since upgrading to the newer maps program. Also on both phones the satnav GPS signal strength indicator has been removed from the screen on newer ovimaps so you cannot even see what is happening.

I tried to install MOTOCAST on 2 PCs (system: WinXP & Windows Vista) and both are upgraded to 2.0.31, but when I check the software update for MOTOACTV itself, the MOTOCAST told me no update for me for the timebeing.
The fact is there is 1.7.11 A8 out there and maybe 1.7.12 A8 as the guy introduced me to buy have the exact same device (only this version in same store) with Golf function on. Meanwhile, when the device connect to WiFi yesterday evening, I saw once the words of "Software Update Availabe, please connect the computer to update" shown on the device.
I go to [url].../backup on my phone's browser and download the application. I have checked the Unknown sources tick box. I get to the installer window and press "Install". It always comes back with "Application not installed" with no explnation.

I need to install Device Software 5.0 in order to sync my Public Folders Wirelessly. Rogers does not have 5.0 firmware update. I however found it for the 8900 on Vodaphone UK downloads.
My nexus 5 is root and use TWRP recovery. every month i get security patch notification but the installation failed.
should i unroot my device or revert to stock recovery or both?
first it was my notifications that wasnt being delivered for months after an update now for for 3 days i have beeen trying to restore my iphone from a software update. the update took 16 hours to update and now im thinking i can just restore and go agout my business....... the apple USB driver device or whatever its called will not install on my computer. Nor will the itunes update.
