I am unable to install the latest Ovi Music. I am using Vista. The download fails. I have tried deleting every thing Nokia and tried several fixes as listed. I am unable to uninstall Nokia Multimedia Common Components as it states another version of this product is already installed.
View 1 RepliesI've just gotten a nokia N8 and have unlimited music dowloads from Ovi Music for six months with my package. For the past week or so I have been downloading music onto my phone using my home WAN conection. And onto my laptop using my home WAN connection. I also download onto the same laptop using my LAN at work. For the past 3 days now, however, I am unable to download any songs or albums from Ovi Music unless I use the data package on my phone (3G / GPRS).
If I use the WAN or LAN (phone or laptop) I get the error message "download failed - failed to access server". I've changed nothing in my settings - nothing at all. I don't have a problem accessing the internet on my cellphone using the WAN connection, however. It just seems to be a problem with Ovi suddenly. Because I don't want to use my data package to download music and software - It's more economical using the WAN or LAN.
IOS 5.1.1 will not install on my Iphone 4S. It fails to verfiy the download and fails to install.

I have just given up and started using WMP in mass storage but it means i can't transfer actual playlists, the songs are transfered but i have to make a playlist manually on my phone which can get real tedious.

Want to install the latest update PR.1.1 that came out today, but despite removing every application installed on there (something that I only did 4 days ago with the last update, then spent time re-installing them), I still can't install it.
I've re-installed Conky and can see that I only have 33mb free in Root, but have no idea what's in there filing it up. Does anyone have any ideas?I can't flash it through NSU, as that says that I have the latest version at the moment already, when I know that to not be the case...

It won't install the latest maps version 3.0. I copied the files from the memory card which came with the phone to my 8GB card but this doesn't fix the problem.

There's about 4GB of memory available so it's not a lack of space. I've tried re-installing OVI player to no avail, I can't understand what has happened to stop it transferring, I've changed nothing at all.Any ideas how I might be able to get the music to start transferring again?
