I have a Curve 8520 fully upgraded at, v5.0.0.681, Installed a yahoo mail account, gmail, work mail and facebook app. Mails are working fine, bb messenger and internet too, the only thing that is not working is the calendar. I have wiped the BB several times and installed the mail accounts trying to make them work but nothing!

View 2 Replies View RelatedI have two email addresses registered on my Torch: my business and my private email address. I have set my business email address as default. When syncing with Outlook, it syncs with the default calendar in Outlook and doesn't take over entries I made on the phone.
I tried moving all calendar entries from Default and my private email to the business email address on the Torch but then while syncing it wants to delete all my entries in the Outlook calendar.

The calendar alerts have been deteriorating since my installation of Mavericks. It does not matter what I do, alerts are NOT working. This is immensely annoying. I use Hotmail email I think this started to fail when I upgraded to the new OS. When I create a new Calender appointment, it no longer shows up in my hotmail calender. If I invite attendees, all they get is a blank email, they no longer get a proper meeting request in their Outlook inbox.
However, if they send me a meeting invite, it is properly recognized on my blackberry.
As best I tried scouring the internet looking at various BB forums, I went into options and deleted my Hotmail email account on the phone. I set it up again and it does not fix the problem. As far as I can tell, my hotmail account is a now typical account that has pop3 access.
EDIT: I removed the Hotmail account and added a GMail account. The GMail account workes totally fine with meeting invites. Also, after the creation of the GMail account, there is now a second inbox icon on my BB home screen. This icon is an envelope like the original one but also has a graphic of the world over-layed on top of it that resembles the Browser icon.
I keep getting an error that says "Unfortunately, Calendar Storage stopped working" or something like that. I have taken off calendars and added them one by one and it keeps doing it.
View 10 Replies View RelatedI have a new curve (8530) and my carrier is Verizon. My curve was syncing with my Yahoo calendar in December without any issues. Since January it no longer syncs. My memo pad syncs, but not the calendar. I do not have Outlook on my computer, so Yahoo is my only choice of calendar. I spoke to Verizon tech support for 2 hours and we tried everything. I uninstalled and reinstalled Desktop manager, but that didn't help either.

I have the most up-to-date firmware and mobileme setup and have refreshed everything and still no luck. The same seems to be happening with my emails.
