So.. I took my phone in to get fixed due to a trackpad issue... they sent it away and I guess they just gave me a new one since its a new pin etc.. and layout is different
Readded all my bbm contacts but the display pics arent showing up .. and they cannot see mine.
Some of my contacts that i added wellover 24hours ago cannot see my display pic and i can't see theirs.....

I thought it was as simple as "unmounting" the card from my old phone and inserting it into my BB, but apparently not

Hi there, new blackberry user. I have taken a few pictures with my Bold 9700 and the have shown up in media/pictures/all pictures. Not sure what happened, but now when I take pictures, I can only view them if I explore and go to the pictures folder. How can I go back to viewing all pictures? Any help for a rookie?

my media files were all available. My Blackberry rebooted (to delete an app) and now all the files on the media card aren't available through the media shortcuts.I was able to get the music files to appear by using "Explore", finding each file and opening each song individually.Only then did they appear in my player.I am unable to get my pictures to display.I can see them when I "explore" but not through the pictures shortcut.Why isn't my device set up to read media files automatically from the media card? I've tried every option and setting I can think of and need some help.I'm within my 14 day window, and thinking of taking it back!It worked and now it doesn't!Is there something wrong with my phone?

I have ported her phone number from her V3m to my old V3m that we had received at the same time from Verizon and I had moved on to a different phone. When I tried to restore the pictures I can see the names of the pictures in my pictures on her phone but they will not display.I have tried saving them onto the sd card under my pictures as well as putting some of them under wallpaper to see if they would open there. The naming convention was the default one used on the razr with 12characters.jpg. I am not sure what copying them back and forth to a XP pc may have done to them so that they will not display.

Why the update messed up a good thing because it wasnt a good update.
