IPhone :: 4 Display Not Showing Anything?
May 6, 2012I went to turn on my iPhone, clicked the power button and all it shows is a slightly tinted black screen. I still receive calls and texts, but I see nothing and the touch screen doesn't work. The phone also vibrates, I am able to call only with voice control, and cannot pick up the phone.

Jul 4, 2012The top of my iPhone doesn't show the full display. I just upgraded to the latest OS but it didn't help. The top, where it shows the time, if you're connected to wi-fi, how many bars you have and battery display is cut off.

Dec 1, 2014My iPhone display is showing all my apps and text about 4x bigger than normal. It's a ***** to try to move around the pane and especially to do my pin if I turn it on. Tapping three fingers on the screen doesn't change the zoom.  I managed to get into Settings to check if the display was zoomed and it was set on standard. Resetting the phone doesn't work either. This has happened on my older 5s when my hand has been on an open display when the phone was in my pocket.  I think this last time my hand was on the screen for more than 10 seconds.

However on the MotoACTV web app when I select Workouts/Latest Workout/Workout Stats, the distance and pacing are recorded in km, but the elevation shows in ft. Jun 23, 2010I was just comparing the iP4's display to my 3GS and it seems a lot warmer [Yellowish Tint] than the 3GS!!
I remember when the 3GS was launched, many of us got very warm displays! Luckily, mine came with a bad GPS chip and the exchange unit had the nice *cool* display with a bluish tint!
I wonder if the first batch of iPhones are plagued with warm 'yellowish' screens ?This is not to be confused with the yellow patches people are reporting, which is a defect. In my case, the entire screen is warm, not defected! How is the display/tint on your iP4 ? How is compared to your 3G or 3GS, if you have one around ?
