I currently have a curve 8520 with everything updated .. bbm and os are updated to new.My contacts will NOT show any dispaly pics and it will NOT show that anyone has changed their pictures in my recent updates. Before it was working. Now it is not.

If i have contacts on my SIM cards and in the phone the contact display lists all of them. I couldn't find an option to limit the display to the phone storage only. So i see duplicates. My Blackberry rebooted (to delete an app) and now all the files on the media card aren't available through the media shortcuts.I was able to get the music files to appear by using "Explore", finding each file and opening each song individually.Only then did they appear in my player.I am unable to get my pictures to display.I can see them when I "explore" but not through the pictures shortcut.Why isn't my device set up to read media files automatically from the media card? View 4 Replies View RelatedMy wife's V3m went on the blink but I had used bitpm to backup contacts and pictures some time before this happened. I have ported her phone number from her V3m to my old V3m that we had received at the same time from Verizon and I had moved on to a different phone. When I tried to restore the pictures I can see the names of the pictures in my pictures on her phone but they will not display.I have tried saving them onto the sd card under my pictures as well as putting some of them under wallpaper to see if they would open there. The naming convention was the default one used on the razr with 12characters.jpg. I am not sure what copying them back and forth to a XP pc may have done to them so that they will not display.

Why the update messed up a good thing because it wasnt a good update. It will not display pictures or graphics, even when it shows that the page has "fully loaded." Graphics/pics work just fine through the Facebook app and other apps, just not the browser. They show up fine in outlook and webmail, but on the Xoom they show up with tiny placeholders (boxes with green question marksressing on "show pictures" does not help. On my old Nokias it was possible to view the contact list with both the name and number of each contact when looking at the contact list i.e. When sending a SMS.
