i just re-installed the OS on my bold 9900, and now there is an app missing.previously i had one envelope icon that would show me everything (emails, BBM, text) and another that was specifically for my emails (with a smaller orange envelope in front of it), but that second one has disappeared.

Not sure what I chnaged. I only see ënable HTML Email" there now. Not getting any emails delivered under Desktop anymore. Have tried removing the battery and restarting phoen, still no luck. How do I get this back to normal settings?

View 5 Replies View RelatedMy email icon (the one associated with an email account added via Blackberry Internet Service) has disappeared after upgrading the Blackberry Device Software via Blackberry Desktop.At the same time after the upgrade Email Setup does no work. Clicking on the setup icon -> email gets the clock timer for 1 second and then nothing.I've now downgraded back to device operating system 6.0 bundle 905 which has made the email setup icon workagain but no email icon has returned.I've requested the service books which have been successful, but no icon. I've removed and reinserted the battery.I can read messages from the general message icon which shows email is getting to the device but I'd prefer the original functionality of a seperate email icon per account appearing in the All Icons section.I think 6.0 bundle 2647 seems a liitle flaxy or something got corrupted at upgrade.

View 9 Replies View Relatedi was navigating with my phone the other day and i think the battery was low. Everything was running very slowely and somehow i accidentally deleted the first mail folder on the start screen. I can't remember what that folder was called but it included all the email addresses that i have plus messages as far as phone messages...it was a sort of summary folder i think. So is there a way to restore it? I didn't see that i was deleting or moving. Just saw the results of the folder not being present anymore.
The other problem that has existed since i have had this phone is that two of the email addresses never show the emails. If i go into the folder it says simply *no messages* and yet there is at the bottom of the screen what you see in the attached image....that there is a message. Plus at the top there is a little notification icon saying the number of unread messages.
I started out with the problem that I cannot use internet or receive text/bbm/emails on my phone. I called Bell's tech support, and they had me download the new OS (which I had) and if that didn't work, use the security wipe.So, I did that.Now that my bold 9700 has been reset to the factory settings, I am trying to add my hotmail account back onto it so I can add my bbm contacts. However, when I try to go to the "email set up" my ONLY option is to add a work email account with the BES. Not at all what I want.As a side note, I also noticed that the "wireless update" option is now missing from the options menu. Also, my bb browser goes to the Bell mobile portal instead of the old homepage. Not a major issue, but just noticed the differences.

I'm running 5.0.0.810 on BES.Not sure how long it has been missing; if it has been gone since June since I switched from my 8330 to this 9650 or if it was when I upgraded from .732 to .810.
Just wanted to check, I'll probably try downgrading back to .732 to see if it brings it back.I've actually only got three options under Email Settings; Enable HTML, Download images and Confirm external image download.
I have 4 Gmail addresses on my BB Bold and the main account is missing the "email name [SYNC]" in the service book (I accidentally deleted it I think). Since I'm having issues with syncing already I figured I need it but I'm not sure. I resent all service books, but this particular one is still missing.

Especially when you 'restore' after doing a soft reset and none of your original apps are there "Great" Now I've had to reinstall 'sports tracker', but it doesn't show up on the phone despite appearing to succeed. So, Verizon sent me a replacement phone; however, there does not appear to be a web browser on the replacement phone. When I go to advance options and then to applications, I think I see what may be a file for a browser, but regardless, no "globe" icon on the main menu or in any of the folders. How do I find/install the web browser?

It seems there are always problems cropping up whenever I arrive at the other country (SIM Swap). most problems are easily solved with resending Service Books and/or Battery Pull.However my latest problem can't be solved regardless whatever I did.There is no sound whenever a new email gets push to my Phone, also, i only have a "Save Draft" option BUT NOT "Send" option. I can't send mail now.Things I have done.1. Battery Pull2. Re-registering my email (after deleting Service Books and the removing the email from device)3. (no paperclip symbol). I receive all other attachments fine when the email is not digitally signed.Using Verizon Wireless as carrier.if the signed email was sent to my Gmail account all attachments appear as normal.

Got the S6, Lollipop 5.1.1, recently and that feature is now missing. Email cannot be deleted off of my work email server so when I added my work email to my phone all 6,000+ emails eventually came in. The only way I've figured to delete them is one at a time. Did I mention I had to return my first S6 for a defective battery and got a replacement? Yes, I've deleted 12,000+ emails individually in the past week.
