When I try to look at weather animations (i.e. radar loops), the page rebuils quickly and correctly except for where the "looped" image should be. There is either a blank white space(National weather service) or a blank black space (weather .com). Pulling battery made no difference. These loops used to work and I am not aware of any changes/deletions/new apps etc that could have caused the animations to stop working.
I'm curious and new to Android. My friend has the Motorola Droid Razr and when idling his screen on and off the animation is quite cool. It sort of resembles an old TV's on and off experience. Is there a way to mod the HTC one so that it could do this as well?
Is there any way to speed up the transition animations? I feel like they are just a tad too slow for my tastes. My Galaxy Note 3 has the same TW animations, but they're much, much faster.
Missing zoom, circle animations in their newsstand app? If you uninstall updates to 3.3 they will be there again. The weird thing is on my nexus 4 even with the new version 3.3.1 it has the neat lollipop transitions. Why are they missing on the s5?
I have had my Xprt for a few weeks now; I can't get video to play out of the web browser (like watching ESPN highlights). I tried restoring the browser settings; I even installed a new browser (opera) to see if it would work. i got nothing.
I've noticed that ever since I updated my xperia play to the latest 2.3.4 update, the default browser struggles to load any web pages that begin with https, so I am unable to log in to a lot of web sites e.g. hotmail and google mail. The xperia play's email app gets my emails fine though so it seems to be something to do with the default browser? I've used a third party browser (Dolphin) and https web sites work fine through it.
i am trying to play cityville on the samsung galaxy sii using the stock internet browser. i can open facebook without any problems but when i click on the cityville link, the loading bar at the top just keeps refreshing every time it gets to the end and the page doesn't ever seem to load. there are android cityville apps but you can't use them to play the actual game, just check and collect bonuses.
I just got my s6 edge today! Couldn't be any happier with the build quality and the fluidity that is now touchwiz. But something just does not seem right while using apps that require scrolling up or down. EX: Facebook, Twitter, Play Store and especially the browser. Just to note Im on TMobile and am experiencing these after an uodate and factory reset after the update.
How to stop the Default browser to play Youtube Videos in Full Screen ? I don't want to play them in full screen automatically. I am trying to find something , touching where the screen would go back to normal mode of playing youtube videos.
So on my tour all I used was Opera Mini as my browser, but I can't seem to get Opera to work on my bold. It freezes up and the trackpad is wayyyy too sensitive. Hopefully Opera will fix this issue, but until then what is everyone using now? Bolt? BB browser?
when I try to load a web page on my bb bold 9700 device, browser does not load the page and all I can see is a white screen. battery pull solves the issue, but the problem occurs again and again and I don't want to reset my phone every other day.
I have a verizon blackberry on tmobile. I can do everything except use the browser. i receive emails, texts, calls, bbm, everything but i try going on the internet and it says that the service isnt part of my current plan. I've already called tmobile several times and they said that everything is good on their end.

When I am on the home screen and hold down the menu key, I see the browser is running. I close it everytime and even went to applications and closed it there. Is the browser always supposed to run?

My wife and myself are getting Bolds in a week. Im getting the 9700 and she wants the 9000. Just wanted to know if the 9000 will get the new web kit browser and is it compatible. Ive been trying to convience her on getting the 9700 but she wont budge. She wants a white Bold. Trying to make sure she wont get screwed in the end.Im pretty sure somebody posted this before but just couldnt find it. Unfortunatly I dont have as much time as before to look thru the threads. my blackberry has worked fine in the couple of months i have had it, however a few weeks ago the browser and bbm completely stopped working. i took the battery and sim out and then when i put them back in it worked fine again.a few days ago the same thing happened, i tried taking the sim out again and it didnt work, have done it a few times. i rang o2 and they suggested putting it on to manual network and try connecting again, have also done this a few times and it still hasnt worked. i have the right plan and pay to get unlimited browsing, it usually is fine but stopped working randomly.
I have a Bold 9000. Its unlocked I was told its a international version since it dosnt say ATT or t-mobile at the bottom of the phone. Well it only has the hotspot browser. And when I go to options >browser configuration> browser it only has one browser which is the hotspot browser. Theres no other browser there. Is there anything I can do to add the other browsers? Because I don't want to just have wi-fi alone because not every where you go has wi-fi. Can any one help me or tell me what I should do?
i have a blackberry bold 9700 completely up-to-date, and i have troubles with the native internet browser, and all affiliated apps like Internet. i click on the icon, and nothing happens, nor will Internet launch, nor can i follow any links in emails and such. it starts working when i battery pull, but after one use, it refuses to work again until i pull the battery again.
