Xperia PLAY :: Since 2.3.4 Update Browser Doesn't Load Https Webpages

I've noticed that ever since I updated my xperia play to the latest 2.3.4 update, the default browser struggles to load any web pages that begin with https, so I am unable to log in to a lot of web sites e.g. hotmail and google mail. The xperia play's email app gets my emails fine though so it seems to be something to do with the default browser? I've used a third party browser (Dolphin) and https web sites work fine through it.

I have had no issues with my blackberry internet browser in the past. But now my pages don't load at all - even though my apps like FB, twitter and email work just fine.

I have a BlackBerry Curve 8520 running BB OS 5. Recently the default BB browser will not load pages. After navigating to any page the loading bar at the bottom of the screen will fill up but when it is fill the browser will display a blank page. I installed Opera Mini on the devise and it opens up and displays all web pages fine. I have tried removing the battery and re inserting it without success. I am also unable to reinstall the browser from the BB desktop app. Is there any way to fix this issue without reintalling the OS from scratch?

My phone is rooted and I've recently went to the boot menu and restarted everything from scratch. Now Imy starting over and I can't load the play store. It says I have no connection when I am clearly connected to the Internet.

basically I updated my software a day ago. And after that I couldn't connect to internet though it was from O2 but 2nd day I can't connect to internet so I called them there isn't ap roblem with them told me to regester my phone but It has happen already on the very first time I swtiched with the new softaware...

For the first few months everything was fine. Now a 30+ times a day pages load very slow or get stuck and I have to go to settings and turn off data then turn back on or turn phone off and back on. I've replaced my phone twice and sim card twice and its still doing it. I have unlimited data through T Mobile so that shouldn't be the problem.

I have a macbook pro and updated my blackberry to version 5.0.0.593ļ»æ. after I've done this, the wall charger doesnt work on the blackberry anymore. The battry only gets charged when i connect it with the usb to the macbook. I bought a new wall charger, but the same problems remains. Whats strange is, that blackberry shows the flipping clock (as it always did when I connected it to the wall charger and it loaded the battery) plus it shows the blue charging symbol on the top left.Last night, when I got the red battery symbol I connected it to the wall charger again, but I went out because of low battery.whats also strange is, after I pull the battery and put it in again, i get the following error message after the blackberry has loaded: "Uncaught exception: Index 4 >=4"

My phone ran out of battery and now the apps stored on my SD card won't always show up. The card is fine as I can use my music. If I copy an app from SD to phone an then back it will show but when i restart the phone it will dissapear again. i have tried un mounting and re-mounting the card but no joy.

have tried all ways to restore my phone after the disaster upgrade and subsequently losing everything - i have installed OI file and astra, and have got a zip version of backup and resstore onto SD but i cant open it any way, i always get 'file not restored' or 'parse' or parsed error???? i dont understand and am beside myself as i need to get back my info urgently..... i know my backup file exists on the sd card as when i mount on computer i can see it in the files?

After the update to OS6 my browser wont works...i get the blue bar in the bottom blocked saying "request in progress".The curious thing that BROWSER WORKS FINE ONLY IF I SELECT 2G CONNECTION... NO WAY WITH 3G.All other apps works perfectly after the upadate to OS6: facebook, windows live messenger, emails push, beweather, google maps, poynt and so on...

I have an iPhone 4s and for the past few days my Safari will not load pages. I am also having trouble connecting to the app store and using the Maps. I thought it might be a problem with AT&T and my phone being throttled but it is not. Is this an issue with the 5.1.1 update for the iPhone?

i am using xperia pro mk16a and a few days back i updated to ics 4.0.4 through pc companin s/w.everything went well and the update was completed in 20 minutes flat w/o any error or problem.but since then even after downloading adobe flash player the flash videos which are of duration 5 minutes or more do not load the flash video screen shows that it is loading but it doesnt load even after wainting for 30 minutes earlier on gingerbread these very videos used to load in less than a minute.i have tried almost all the browsers available in the market...but the result is same. i think this is some compaltibility issue of adobe flash player and android 4.0.4.Internet works bery well..no issues on that account.otherwise the ics update is very nice and feature rich and enhanced the overall xperience.

Using the PC companion i followed all steps to do the update which seemed succesfull until i tried loading some apps from the market .they say they are loading but they dont seem to be progressing .everything else seems ok i can go on facebook and google stuff on the internet but just this problem.

I got an issue with connecting to the internet using my xperia on my network wifi.I can connect using my pc but cannot connect using my xperia. On my xperia the phone connects to the wifi network but the webpages do not appear. On my laptop I can access most webpages like google and facebook. The wifi network requires a wep key.

My Xperia Play doesn't have POBox Touch installed in it. Does everyone's Play have POBox Touch already installedI thought it was a Sony Ericsson exclusive for their Xperias. Why doesn't the Play have it? I have an Arc which has POBox Touch and I like using it.Is there somewhere I can download it from and get it installed in Xperia Play? The Marketplace doesn't have it.

My phone recieved notification of a new software update yesterday, it also said i could update it over the air, then contradictid itself by saying i had to use the PC Companion software. Which i did use, i connected my phone, tried to update the software, but when i get to the change from MSC to MTP part, it trys to connect to my phone then says it cannot connect... ?I tried the Wi-Fi updated through the PC companion and the USB updater & they were both saying the same things...It just won't let me update and its really frustrating seeing as im following the instructions given to me...

I'v had my Xperia play for exactly a month, today, and just yesterday night I've encountered a problem where about 2/3s down from the top of the screen there a small area from the left side to the right side of the touch screen that doesn't respond. I can't use my Swype feature, and when I switch to the regular Android keyboard I can't hit the "O"button because of it's location (Area where the screen doesn't respond when its vertical or horizontal).
I've been doing some internet hunting and the closest name I've gotten close to is "dead zone"

Got myself an Sony Xperia Z5 not to long ago and i must admit I am very pleased by its performance and battery life. As webdesigner i ran into an problem which only occurs on my Xperia Z5. All other mobile brands don't have this problem with the page im working on.
The issue: when changing from landscape to portrait or vice versa, the content doesn't increase in size properly. Before i start digging deep i like to know if this has something to do with the Xperia settings?

For the past week, I've been unable to browse the web using the native browser on my Curve 8530. Every time I submit a URL, or click on a link pulled up by QuickSearch, I see the "Requesting" message at the bottom of the screen, but the webpage doesn't even begin loading, and after a minute or so, I get the message "Communication failure has occurred".I don't think this is a problem with my connection, because) I've had no problems calling or texting, and I'm able to use (and refresh) internet-dependent applications like Facebook, Yelp, etc) I get the "Communication failure" message regardless of whether I'm connected via Wifi or via the mobile network

Recently, my browser has been freezing while loading half-way for a NEW PAGE ( new website ). For example, if I go to google, it will load half way, freeze for about 10 seconds, then it will be fine. This occurs EVERYTIME I click a new link.
