View 1 RepliesThis may be a stupid question, but I'm lost, I am trying to sign in to a website: URL... and while the arrow clearly knows that it's a link, when I click on the link nothing happens.
Also, I tried to complete a job search on monster.com. I could complete all of the fields, but when I clicked on the "search" button, nothing happens.
This is a personal blackberry with no security restrictions, so I'm not sure what I have to turn on that's not turned on.
why I can't load mobile facebook, or for that matter any website anymore, even though I am receiving emails normally and posts from facebook. But when I click on a link to take me to facebook etc. it looks as if it's loading, but it never does. all I get is a blank page. I was receiving everything fine, and could access any link until recently. I don't know if somebody maybe changed somethin in the settings maybe - how to be able to access mobile facebook etc. again.

View 7 Replies View RelatedI have had the curve for a few weeks now. At first i changed the settings of the browser to "hotspot" so i could use it with wifi. It was working really well, then all of a sudden it stopped durin browsing. The phone says the wifi connection is fine, but whenever i go to the broswer and try to go to a website it just says loading at the bottom and nothing happens.
Can anyone help with this? should i restart the phone setting somehow because i might have done changed some setting during browsing without realising or is this an actual issue with the phone?
My internet browser is continually freezing whilst loading up a page.
View 1 Replies View RelatedFor the past week, I've been unable to browse the web using the native browser on my Curve 8530. Every time I submit a URL, or click on a link pulled up by QuickSearch, I see the "Requesting" message at the bottom of the screen, but the webpage doesn't even begin loading, and after a minute or so, I get the message "Communication failure has occurred".I don't think this is a problem with my connection, because) I've had no problems calling or texting, and I'm able to use (and refresh) internet-dependent applications like Facebook, Yelp, etc) I get the "Communication failure" message regardless of whether I'm connected via Wifi or via the mobile network

View 14 Replies View RelatedSo I've had my phone for about a month now. When I first got it, I could browse the internet just fine. But slowly, over the past few weeks, I've suddenly not been able to click links on any webpages. I can type things in, like in a Google search, but then can't click the search button and nothing happens when I press the enter button on my keyboard either. I know this isn't specific to certain websites because it's happening on sites that worked fine before. I've tried changing my browser, none of them worked
View 5 Replies View RelatedI just got my Blackberry Curve two weeks ago and it the browser doesn't load pages. The bar at the bottom looks like it has reached 100% but it never shows the webpage. My friend downloaded Opera Mini and it works fine. My email also works fine. I wanted to download an app and it didn't work either because I think it was using the brower to open a webpage.

View 14 Replies View RelatedMy friend has the Curve 8530 on Verizon and OS 5.0.0.508. She has the data package, which Verizon requires, but does not have any data or e-mail accessability on her Curve. She has done battery pulls, resent routing tables, and gone in to the store. Each time she goes in they tell her it is a software issue and that there is not an update yet. Is anyone else having this issue? Are they just pulling her leg because they have no clue?

View 1 Replies View RelatedI'm trying to access a site that requires Java to be installed in order to run an applet. I am not able to. Everything I have read states that Java is not supported on the Blackberry. Looking at the phone information it states that he device is Java Powered. Can anyone tell me if running java applets from the browser is possible on a Blackberry Curve 8530? If I can't run Java Applets, this device is useless to me.I already know this problem is not a result of not enabling JavaScript. The problem I'm having has nothing to do with JavaScript.
View 4 Replies View RelatedMy N97mini uses the same browser as my E71 but I cannot log in to secure websites. I either get a username error or a password error or both. I cannot find any settings that seem to help. I also have frequent browser crashes although most people say that is related to low RAM. Since I have nothing else running in the background I question that conclusion. The biggest problem is the secure site problem.
