all of a sudden getting unusual buffering issues when i watch streamed content, i.e. Internet, i have this problem on both 3g and wifi which is weird, i never had it before; ive had the phone around a year and its only recently which ive had the problem, it opens the video/audo and buffers and is just **bleep**. you know the score. when i view pages on facebook, well when i used to view them, id click the option through the blackberry icon to view an image in full, the image would maximise to fit the screen of the phone, but now it opens a page to be viewed individually but is only seen as the size it was in the previous page, just without the background. i know it isnt right this way because it used to maximise to the whole screen and now i have to zoom in to get a full image and it goes blurry.

Now I have the number 49 and a really tiny message indicator with a line pointing up from the middle of the reels. If I then get a voice message, that number and the message icon appears to the left. After I listen to the vm, both will disappear. If I turn the phone off and turn it back on, the 49 and little icon are back. Any ideas? I have the BB Bold 9900.

Theme's have no real effect from what I've noticed. Unless you have a really big gfx intense theme.

When enabling Device Memory encryption Memory Clean is automatically turned on and can't be disabled. So in my testing reboot time was between 6-7mins. My current config setup is that last test. Since Password is on, I see no need for Device Memory encryption to be on. Without the password you can't gain access to device files. ZonaSnap , QuickLaunch, Blink all preloaded during each test. 8 Email Accounts, about 80 read emails, and 100+ sms, 41 apps anyone that is getting 1-2min reboot please post your settings.
I took a road trip last week and weekend and noticed that when under heavy use, my milestone will discharge even when plugged into the charger. From a functional standpoint, my milestone did great. I listened to an entire baseball game steamed with the MLB app over ATTs (mostly 3G) network. (Several places in S GA on I75 dont have 3G but the streaming app did pretty well over EDGE). I also use Google Nav and had my screen on since it was sitting on my car dock. After 4-5 hours of use my milestone was pretty warm and had quite a bit less battery life even though it was on the charger the entire time. I am guessing the GPS is a huge power draw, but what about having the screen on all the time. I would think that as long as the device is plugged into a power source, it should be good to go.
View 8 Replies View RelatedI've noticed some strange behavior with my iPhone 4 where my account shows 3G usage at a time when I am certain I am on wi-fi. For example, on June 22, 2012 at 7:17AM EDT, I was at home, getting ready to go to work. I am 100% certain my phone was on wi-fi at the time. But, my AT&T usage shows over 460MB of data over 3G. I've read about turning off cellular data and location services, but that kind of defeats the purpose, doesn't it? Why heavy 3G data usage seen while on wi-fi, and if so, how to track down what was causing it?

i am using xperia pro mk16a and a few days back i updated to ics 4.0.4 through pc companin s/w.everything went well and the update was completed in 20 minutes flat w/o any error or problem.but since then even after downloading adobe flash player the flash videos which are of duration 5 minutes or more do not load the flash video screen shows that it is loading but it doesnt load even after wainting for 30 minutes earlier on gingerbread these very videos used to load in less than a minute.i have tried almost all the browsers available in the market...but the result is same. i think this is some compaltibility issue of adobe flash player and android 4.0.4.Internet works bery well..no issues on that account.otherwise the ics update is very nice and feature rich and enhanced the overall xperience.

Under usage it says 15,464 days of usage since last full charge. The customers 4s dies in an hour after a full charge, The phone adds a thousand days to usage after every new batter I install.

I did a security wipe on my phone because I previously encountered a problem with my phonebook. The wipe resolved my phonebook problem but caused me a new dilemma. An unusual battery icon started appearing and it won't go away. I tried draining my batt, rebooting the phone, full charging the batt, security wiping again, nothing seems to work.

While I'm working out the audio will play normally, but as soon as I place the phone in my pocket it will cut out and then suddenly voice command will initiate. I do not have voice command mapped to either of the side keys. I work out in shorts and the pockets are pretty loose so I don't reckon any buttons are being pushed or the audio jack is being affected.
I tried replicating the problem by fiddling with the audio adapter, hitting random buttons, but it only happens when I place the phone in my pocket. The only other thing I can think of is that it has something to do with the light sensor maybe? Has anyone else experienced this?

I noticed this also after i check the store floor model and seem's the same issue(both were defective?). Callers on other end hear me fine, so it's not there phone or the service.
View 4 Replies View RelatedI have been using iPhone 4, 5 and now 6. iPhone 6 has been making an unusual clicking noise when i touch / press bottom panel. It is normal to press bottom panel while clicking home button. I have shown it to Apple Genius Bar in Dublin CA and they could see and hear the bottom panel clicking.Â
It is difficult to hear the clicking noise in the store due to surrounding noise. i have uploaded a video to make it simpler for Apple to investigate. URL...I am running out of options with Apple Genius technicians. I can reproduce the problem after removing the case too.

View 3 Replies View RelatedI have a 6 month old blackberry 9900. I suddenly noticed some Java Null pointer exceptions on my screen with the blackbeery platform 5.0..0.464 message on top.
I tried rebooting the system couple of times but doesnt work.
Tried to update the sioftware, unfortuntaely it requires a DM and my DM doest recoignize my device any more. Infact it recognizes the system and also the PIN however, it doesnt connect to the 9900.
So am unable to do anything. if I can install OS in someway without being on DM. Loosing data shouldnt be constraint as I feel in love with this piece and I want it to work.
After uninstalling an app I rebooted the phone. Now it won't fully turn on (it takes a long time to load to white screen of my carrier) and the screen stays at that point. I've tried taking the battery out. The only way I can get it past the white screen is if I take out the sim card which doesn't help matters much.

I know how to fix it (since her old Curve would crash all the time), but anybody have ideas on what would cause this? She doesn't have many 3rd party apps (Quickpull, Buzzme, Google Maps), so I can't imagine it would be related to low memory. Is daily scheduled quickpull perhaps overkill on this phone? I'd like to do to avoid it crashing again, since I'm the official "phone fixer/OS reinstaller guy".

View 5 Replies View RelatedIve been playing in google for the last hour and cant find anythign that helps. this morning my 9700 crashed as it does regularly and it wont load again. it gets to the status bar, makes its way about 1/4 of the way down and then crashed and tries to reboot. started at 9 am this morning, ive tried hard and soft resets, the battery was out of it for over an hour, desktop manager cant do anything with it becase it keeps crashing while its connecting. a new phone is in the mail but i need this phone for work and i need to boot this thing in the next little while. again ive tried ctrl alt dlt methoed a few times, numerous battery pulls, battery sat out of the phone for over an hour, tried booting it with the battery out, tried conecting to it with the battery in and out to desktop manager and nothing has worked.

It was working about 2 days ago, except the keyboard was sticky so I turned it off and got some isopropyl alcohol cleaner and followed some instructions on how to open it all up and clean it which i did. Before i cleaned it i turned it on and the loading screen came up, only it gets to about 5 or 10 percent then restarts itself which it then proceeds to do over and over. I have looked into this problem and it seems i need to reinstall the os?

So my bold 9700 began to re-boot itself and the bar started to load, reached about three quarters and wont go any further. I tried everything from charging the phone, removing the battery for hours, removing the micro sd card, but it still continues to load to a certain point and sticks. I've tried everything over and over but nothing different happens.
