May 16, 2012I securely wiped my phone and now I cant access internet/appworld through wifi. my phone is unlocked and I m using Cyta mobile Vodafone.

BB Bold 9700 :: Internet Service Connection Failure - Cannot Access Email
May 19, 2010I just got my new Bold9700 and am trying to set it up and failing completely. Part of this may be because I am in Costa Rica. The primary problem is that it is connecting to a WiFi network, but not to a BlackBerry Internet Service. I have a data plan, I am linked to a network here (called I.C.E), and I am connected to a WiFi network, but it will not open due to the lack of Internet Service connection.
My phone is apparently locked, but I am using a USA SIM card, not a Costa Rican one. Do I need to unlock my phone in order to connect to the Internet Server here? As a result of this connection, I also cannot access email or set up BBM.

May 7, 2010when trying to access the Internet, any application, any type of access point: Error "connection not available". WLAN is connected but no browsing, no disconnects, WLAN disconnects just off the phone.

For some reason i cannot connect to the mobile internet when the connection is showing 3g. It will only connect when it is showing H or H+.
Also for some strange reason, the internet connection wont work at all if i havent used it for a few hours. To get back internet you have to go to flight mode and back or switch off and on to get back online.

I'd like to continue using my Blackberry Bold 9000 as a free wi-fi only internet access device and install the Google Voice app so my kids could text message and make phone calls via the Google Voice app and phone's wi-fi connection. While my BB Bold is able to connect to our home wi-fi network like in the past it doesn't successfully connect to the internet and gives me the following message: "Unable to connect to the internet, please try again later."

I noticed the blackberry icon next to the 3G sign is no longer there which means i'm not accessing the service. I called the service provider and they told to do a battery pull which i've done several times. They told me my phone isnt activated on their network but it was initially. I've also tried registering from the host routing table in the options several times but there are still no entries. i was then told to wipe the device which i did, but i still didn't get the service.

I have followed the instruction by entering setup and clicking Email Accounts. On that screen it allows to me two options Internet Mail Account & Enterprise Account. However when I try and click the Internet Mail account nothing happens, it does not let me use this option. I have tried the Enterprise Account and it says "Status: initialzing service" but nothing is happening. (been like this for 30mins)

If I go to the the app world I can successfully download an application without any problems. t purely seems to be the browser that gets stuck, doing a hard reset will fix the issue, clearning the cache, history, pushed content will not fix it. ny ideas as having to do a hard restart to get my browser working is getting tiresome.
