When I press web to browse the internet, it always comes up as a WAP connection.My mates got an i phone, and can browse the internet as you would on a computer. Can I do this or am I stuck with the WAP?

when trying to access the Internet, any application, any type of access point: Error "connection not available". WLAN is connected but no browsing, no disconnects, WLAN disconnects just off the phone.
View 8 Replies View RelatedI just got a new Nokia N97 mini today. I was really excited to log onto the internet, but it doesn't work, using O2 Mobile Web on pay as you go (unlimited internet).
I can log onto the internet if I connect to my router, through the WLAN, but I'm assuming you can connect through the network provider too, for if you want to use the internet while out of the house?
I called up O2 services and they set they didn't have any listed settings that they could send to me, and that it would be best if I just look through google.
I was wondering if anyone else had this problem with O2, and if it could be fixed? Or if I should just get a new SIM card with another network that can provide unlimited internet on pay as you go, and that WILL work on my new phone?
i have a N97 mini since 3 month. I not have a phone plan with internet and i don't need that. But i have always a pop-up for a internet connection. I would like remove this pop-up.
View 4 Replies View RelatedIve joined o2 web where u pay £7.50 a month for unlimited internet but when I try to connect it says connecting via o2 WAP then says no connection available. I've tried it at home, work, everywhere but still nothing? my dad is on exactly the same and works perfect everywhere. it works at home connecting to the WiFi. So I guess I am just not setting it up properly.

For some reason i cannot connect to the mobile internet when the connection is showing 3g. It will only connect when it is showing H or H+.
Also for some strange reason, the internet connection wont work at all if i havent used it for a few hours. To get back internet you have to go to flight mode and back or switch off and on to get back online.
i need to start a modem connection via my usbmodem e52. this connection is not for internet but is used only to connect to another modem at 9600 baud and to use as hyperterminal. I have created my connection but unfortunately the phone doesn't start the connection i receive an erro from the pc. How can i do?

The primary problem is that it is connecting to a WiFi network, but not to a BlackBerry Internet Service. I have a data plan, I am linked to a network here (called I.C.E), and I am connected to a WiFi network, but it will not open due to the lack of Internet Service connection.
My phone is apparently locked, but I am using a USA SIM card, not a Costa Rican one. Do I need to unlock my phone in order to connect to the Internet Server here? As a result of this connection, I also cannot access email or set up BBM.

I know there is a way to chat with your msn friends without internet connection. you have to send a msj "ON" to a number and "OFF" when you want to log off. Ex: On I can't remember the number.

View 5 Replies View RelatedI have a Nokia E63 on 3, it reports its symbian software version as 200.21.012. My wireless router is a Netgear DG834PN. It has a WPA2-PSK key code set up, and my laptop works fine with the wireless. It is set up to use DHCP, has MAC address filtering turned OFF. The network is public (not set to hidden). If i try to connect my nokia E63 to the wireless then when i try to access the internet, it gives an error stating ' no gateway reply'. Power Saving is disabled. I have tried setting the IP address manually and still it gives the error. I have also tried re-setting the router, to no avail. The only way i got it to work was by disabling all security on the router (making it an open network) which, whilst this is fine for testing, i do not want to run it as an open network, it must run with WPA2-PSK security.
