I have a Nokia lumia 610. And I can't download anything using the internet explorer . If tried to download it just plays it directly and neither saves it. What's the problem ??And the things downloaded using any 3rd party is not shown in the music or video library.
View 1 RepliesI got my Nokia Lumia 800 about 8 weeks ago and everything was working fine until I did an update on my phone when it told me updates were available. I plugged it in and continued with the update. Ever since I have been unable to access any Internet pages on my phone.It still works because it shows how many e-mails I have on my e-mail tab, but no pages will open whatsoever. I try opening Internet Explorer and it makes the swipe action as if it's about to open, but then it doesn't. Same for the e-mails, won't open them, and it won't open the App market, et cetera.I tried resetting my phone and still nothing, is there anything I can do?

During IE usage the battery drains extremely fast.
After 15 minutes it is very hot - I'm worried that a longer usage may do some harm to the phone due to the very hot temperature...
The back of the phone and the screen is getting very hot - I do not have the drain problem while not using the phone - it is cold while idle!
But I did notice, that other applications do also heat up the phone, but not as much as IE...

Having difficulty with disappearing keyboard when trying to fill in fields like user id and password. The keyboard will appear and disappear in less than a second, making it impossible to key in any text.
At first I thought it was a hardware or screen protector issues, but having tried other applications and UC browser, I did not encounter this phantom phenomenon.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI've had this problem for a day or so now. I connect my lumia 920 to my PC (Windows 7 ultimate x64) the phone makes a connection sound and it shows up under My Computer. However when I go to browse the files on the 920 it is just empty. Also when I try and use the WindowsPhone app it boots up on the welcome screen as if it's the first time I'm connecting it and does nothing when I press the continue button...
This hasn't always been the case as I was able to browse the files and use the WindowsPhone app for over a week without trouble previously.What I have tried so far:>Restarting my phone.>Reinstalling the WindowsPhone app.>Repairing and reinstalling .NET 4.5 and updating it.>Turning my firewall off>Connecting it to another USB port. >Connecting it to my other computer. >Hard resting my phone. (This left me stuck on the cog wheels for hours and I had to flash my phone to fix this)>And maybe more things that I can't remember at the moment.Interestingly when I had to hard reset it and wipe everything off the phone it worked fine, the app let the phone sync my music etc, I thought it had been fixed. BUT the second time I went to sync my phone the same problem happened! WindowsPhone app thinks its the first time and wont let me press continue and the device is just empty under My Computer.The phone works fine otherwise, all my music and stuff is on it from the first sync and I have 0 problems besides this!
Cannot find in the shop a media player (to listen/fast forward/rewind downloaded podcasts) or file explorer (to delete podcast files after listening) to emulate functionality provided in WfM6.5. Do they exist?

I have more than 2000 songs on the phone and would like to be able to make several playlists the easy way. Inside the playlist folder I can find no way to make, edit or add songs to a playlist. I would hate to have to put all my music into iTunes again and then sync and transfer it to the phone. Likewise, I would hate to try to use Windows Media Player and sync and transfer that to the Windows 8 phone.

I am a Brit based in Germany, and I would like to listen to Radio 5, Talksport, etc, on my 2730 whilst at work. Doing so on my work PC is not allowed.
Although I can access the radio station websites, I obviously now need to load some sort of basic windows media player to get streaming and sound. I tried loading Windows Media 9, for example, but get a "file format" not supported/not recognised.
So, please may I ask, how do I play Radio 5, Talksport, etc?
when ever I try to upload or download data to the internet I'm asked to 'select connection:'.I'm only presented with 'search for WLAN' It did used to give me the option '3G' i'm sure....Going on the internet and Facebook etc is fine the 3G side is used . I guess this is just a setting but I can not find it.
