I have just upgraded from a Pearl 8120 to Bold 9790. Having used an SD card for music successfully in my car in the pearl phone, I swapped it to the new phone to play my music and now its unreadable?I have reformatted the card (even though it was fine) and loaded the music again and again but no joy.

View 2 Replies View RelatedI recently purchased a 2012 Volvo XC60. When attempting to control and play music through the USB connection and the iPod function on the audio system, my iPhone 4S (version 5.1) continually switches the audio output to bluetooth. That results in me still seeing the display for the music but losing the audio. I can go to the music app on my iPhone and see that the audio output has been switched from 'dock connector' to 'My Volvo Car' and change it back to dock connector, restoring the audio but it only lasts for about 30 seconds until the phone overrides the setting and switches audio back to bluetooth.
I have tried every sequence to avoid this as far as connecting my iPhone via USB only after the bluetooth connection is already established, starting the vehicle with my iPhone already connected and phone off at the time of start up and everything in between that you could imagine to no avail. I understand that there is a 'last connection wins' configuration with the iPhone but this does not make any sense as my audio connection is not maintained through USB even when I make that connection after establishing bluetooth connectivity.

I have tried to connect my Blackberry Torch to my hands-free device in my car through bluetooth but it not possible. It seems to connect for a couple of minutes (even starts to syncronize the agenda) but suddenly it appears a message sayint the conexion has been lost.I have tried several things (make the blackberry listen to the device car, delete all the contacts in my agenda, ...).I am able to connect my blackberry to other bluetooth devices and I am able to connect my car dvices to other phones, but I can't connect both together. I ahve talked to the Volvo dealer and they told me there is a compatibility issue when using a SIM dual card?

We use O2's hosted service via Exchange OWA. The email signature's all appear fine but the main body of the emails show as above.
Is it normal for the mail app on W10 to render emails so poorly?Unless its a text email, the rendering on my phone is pretty much unreadable - incorrect fonts, text sizing, images misaligned etc looks like a 3 year old has tried to write css!

I just upgraded my iPhone to 5.1,when i hold the camera close to some text it is blurry and unreadable, and when i tap to focus the only thing the phone does is lighten or darken the screen depending where i tap. the front camera works fine if i hold it close to text and take the photo but that is pain. anyone know how to fix this? i can hold my wifes 3gs the same way and the text is readable.I have tried restoring as new and back up with no luck, and i have tried other camera apps and it is the same result.

I usually connect my E7 to my laptop with Windows 7 installed in it. The mass memory was readable during the Anna days.But now, when I was trying to connect the same and copy some files over, I could read any files from the mass storage.

View 14 Replies View RelatedI have had my 9700. I just noticed today that the sliver pieces that separate each row of keys are fragile. I have one piece that is totally broken on both sides under the Talk and End button, another broken one under the Q and the lower left one below the Z key. On all of them but bottom one, they were originally hard to see. Not sure how I found them but upon closer inspection, more and more were broken. The bottom one actually sticks up some.
My only concern is that they are going to get worse and totally break off and then free for all on dust and dirt in actual keyboard. These silver strips look real cheap. Anyone else have broken ones in their keyboard? How have you solved the issue? Can they easliy replace just the keyboard at the tech center? I have seen OEM keyboards for sale too but not sure I want to try that myself. I am going to call At&t but not sure if they will do a warranty swap for this. My wife has the same phone and hers are all fine and intact. I think parts of this phone were made on a budget. Bad design with the keyboard.
Does the Motorola HS820 Bluetooth Audio Headset work with the Blackberry Bold 9700? It is not clear to me if only Blackberry bluetooth devices work with the Bold 9700, or any bluetooth device. With the Bold 9700 recognize to ask for the four digit code when first aligning it with the HS820?

Originally all posted to one folder messages folder in the message 'center' where all the sms etc go into (middle of the screen icon at the top) i am not sure what has started to happen but suddenly i then had 2 messages folders and now i have 3. They all go to the same place and sometimes contain the same message which just appears in all 3.
I think this started when i started configuring the sync of the deletion of the folders "folder reconciliation". how i can delete these additional folders as they are just a nuicense they mean very little as mail is randomly flowing into them.

I often hear many people complaining or wanting to have the Bold 9650 look like the Bold 9700. I found this picture of the Tour 2 9650 splitting with the 9700 Bold to show the differences between of the Bold 9650 if it stays the same without changes, this is what the difference would be compared to the Bold 9700.as you can see, the only difference if the Bold 9650 stays the same as we see here when the final release comes, is that the Bold 9650 has a somewhat larger bezel VS the 9700 Bold. Other then that, you can see from the pic, nothing else is different on the face of the phones in looks.just thought it was pretty interesting(left side is the 9650, right side is the 9700.
View 14 Replies View RelatedI have a Bold 9000 that keeps going to contacts no matter what icon I click on.I tried upgrading the OS and the phone worked fine for about an hour and then went straight back to only going to contacts. The same thing happens when I downgrade.I am unable to make calls or do anything from the contacts list. The phone is basically unusable.
I have tried the upgrade and battery pull and restore from back up.Does anyone have any suggestions of what this could be and how to fix it.

I'd appreciate opinions from folks who had a Curve 9320 who upgraded to a Bold 9700. I love the Curve, but am starting to have issues with long periods of watching the hour glass, but also mechanical age issues, like a metal pin that poked through the 5/D key.My only complaint with the Curve, other than the amount of time it spends thinking about itself, is that I could never use weatherbug or any of the weather apps, they just ground everything to a halt.

View 8 Replies View RelatedI have been going through this forum for a while and have tried all of the fixes that I can find to no avail. I have a brand new Windows 7 64-bit machine, that never had the Desktop Manager installed. I have installed version 5.01 off of the web site. Windows is able to see the Blackberry in the Device Manager just fine and I can also see the internal storage available under My Computer and I can access all folders. The Virtual Ports (COM3 and COM4) are also available in Device Manager.
I went through and followed the clean uninstall and reinstall instructions and various other suggestions that I have already seen. For whatever reason, the Desktop Manager still won't see the BB. When going into Options in the Desktop Manager, it shows that USB is selected but still nothing under PIN.I am connected to the straight USB port on the back of the computer and have tried several there.
