View 3 RepliesI recently got my first blackberry bold 9700 and have started experiencing problems with the emails. When I receive a new email I go to click into the message but when its loaded it from a previous email and not the email I am trying to access. Then if I know I do not want to open the email and just delete when I click to delete it deletes a previously saved email or bbm message.
View 10 Replies View RelatedI just installed a Blackberry update to my 9650 Bold and now I can't get my emails. I went to setup and it asked for passwords. I typed them in CORRECTLY and it doesn't recognize them. Frustrated I uninstalled the update and I still can't get the emails.
View 2 Replies View RelatedI am having trouble with some things that I havent been able to figure out by now and this is my last resort where to find answers. This issue is really bugging me. After literally spending two weeks with my service provider telephoning most time waiting in witing for a call center agent to get connected to and being each time transferred to another division to a last being transferred to the divission where I first started at speak meoving in a cricle and no one being able to help me and this whole theater every day the same for two weeks, I am turning now to the people here hoping I could find some answers
1) My provider in Switzerland is sunrise (BIS), so I went on to the website sunrise.blackberry.com and entered my existing accounts, 4 of them. Additionaly I registered a new blackberry email address to be able to use the true push service which is xx@sunrise.blackberry.com (xx being just a placeholder for my real name). The problem is though that I haven't been able to find out the mail settings I have to enter into my Mail Programm on my PC so I can access the emails on my computer. I dont know if it's a pop server, an IMAP server and not to speak of the mail settings of the server settings for incoming and outgoing email. Since it's actually a BlackBerry server I figured that the servers are BB managed (no one at Sunrise Switzerland even knew what BIS is or that you could receive PUSH mail with the Blackberry email).
2) I tried to register a new email address at https://bis.na.blackberry.com/html for a direct xx@blackberry.com email address thinking that maybe with this, it would easier to find infos about the settings. The problem here is that I have to enter my PIN (no problem) and ESN/MEID number. The Problem is that I haven't been able to find those numbers now mather how hard I tried; they are not even listed in options>status.
Basically I can't access my emails - the star/asterisk sign shows up on the menu to show that new messages have come in (and I know they have because I can see them on my laptop) but when I click any of the email icons (the general 'Messages' one, or the two separate email accounts I have) they just take me to text messages rather than email messages.

my mom gave me her blackberry tour when she upgraded and I had it unlocked.so I could use it for my move to Dubai.In Canada, I was able to use voice, SMS, access email and BBM via FIDO.I could not see any internet icon so I didn't have any data plans.It was all pre-paid.I had a TOUR from work previously and was able to access voice, SMS, internet, BBM....is this the difference between blackberry enterprise (which I assume is available only for businesses) vs the Blackberry Services (Email or Social Networking) for personal use? When I moved to Dubai, I pulled the FIDO sim card and obtained a du sim card (yes "du").I then paid for and activated my blackberry services (email / BBM) however when I tried to set up my email account, I got a "Your device had a problem connecting to the server" error.I tried pulling the battery, registering through Advanced Option, Host Routing, registering online at du.blackberry.com and when I try to register there, I get the message that says my device cannot be registered and to try and register through advanced options and if that doesn't work contact my wireless provider.
Someone from their technical support got back to me and said that my blackberry service is associated with my previous wireless provider (FIDO) and that I had to call FIDO to get the PIN released.I did that and FIDO said it was released.I've tried repeating the previous steps for registering / setting up email and I'm still getting the same errors. Initially when I got the du sim card, they activated a blackberry social account for me and this was not what I wanted so they deactivated it.I wonder if somehow my device is actually registered with du, but on the wrong plan.so this is why I can't access the email / bbm service.
I have two email accounts set up on by Curve 9360. When I click on either email icon now I just get access to my txt messages! I'm still receiving emails which I can open and reply to but when I close them I can't access them again and they disappear.

If I'm on my PC and I compose a message to the same email address I'm writing from, which is connected with my BIS, the email doesn't appear on my BB ever.In Gmail, I have forwarding disabled but POP enabled.
View 6 Replies View RelatedI have just bought the blackberry 9300 only 3 days ago and its already messed up, I can't receive e-mails, I can't send/receive bbm's, I can't access App world, finally I can't access facebook. But I can still access the internet, phone and text messages.

I have tried a hard boot many times, also tried "registering the network" and got to "sending service books" and couldn't get passed the "e-mail accounts setup" because it says "your device had a problem connecting to the server".
i recently downloaded an app and today i deleted it, it then rebooted. when it restarted it came up on the screen " uncaught exception: application net_ rim_bb_ messaging_app(60) is not responding; process terminated " and give me the option to press ok but wont do anything . the screen has frozen and i have emails and messages and it wont let me into them. There is also a new envolope box in between the where you recieve your emails and messages and it has a yellow envolope at the bottom of that. i've tried taken out the battery and restarting it but it does the same thing. it will let me in to everything but the things i need internet for as well

Whereas in the past (like even early this afternoon) I would be able to see emails or texts - or if no email or texts it would say 'No messages' - I cannot open either emails or text and therefore cannot create, read, or anything else. The scroll button is inop after clicking on email or text and I must it the exit button to regain control of the scroll button.
View 3 Replies View RelatedMy E63 crashed after a software update last night. I seem to have recovered most stuff, but now can't access my emails from the Active Home Screen. It shows that new emails have arrived, but when I click on the icon - nothing happens. Just stays on the home screen. I can access emails by going Menu-Installations-email, but this is a bit of a faff!
Any ideas? I'm using the Nokia Messaging email for my Hotmail account. It all went smoothly for the last year....

I'm unable to read individual emails when using the Outlook Web Access site in the internet browser window.I am using this to check work email and would rather do it this way (over the internet) than using the e-mail client that is part of the device. I'm able to log-in to my inbox and see everything I should see, however when I try clicking on an individual email to read it, nothing happens. I've tried clicking on the sender's name, the subject line and everything else on the line for that email. When I do that nothing happens.Am I doing this wrong? Is there somewhere else I'm suppose to click? Is there possibly some setting that needs to be turned on or maybe one that is on that should be unchecked?Any help would really, really be appreciated.

A color coding system would be ideal, where messages from one email would be a different color or something.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI keep getting OLD emails on my BB since this morning. I have hotmail and gmail two email accounts registered on the BB. The old emails I keep getting are from my hotmail account only. Some emails went as far back as 2007! I wonder if this has something to do with the BB server.
I also noticed that my BB stopped synchronising with my hotmail acc anymore since I'd upgraded to 9700 from 9000. For example, the emails in my hotmail acc used to get deleted when I choose delete "on mailbox and handheld" on my 9000, but this doesn't work on the 9700 anymore. I have to log on to my hotmail acc from my PC to delete read emails. what's wrong with my BB?
Have only had the phone a few months and all I do so far is talk, text and email. I have the software on my computer but have never used it. I'm sorry if this has been posted already but I don't have time to wade through the threads. I have to leave the computer right now but will be back in a couple of hours.

I receive a number of legitimate business emails through MS Outlook on my laptop, although some may incorrectly come through labelled "bulk" in Outlook (i.e. an email sent from someone I know just to me). These same emails do not come through on my BB. My BB does otherwise receive emails. how to correct so I receive all emails on my BB. I am not on a BES.

I spoke to Tech support, they say everything is ok on their side. I took my phone back, the tech at the MTN shop checked, corrected my centre number.
Still NOTHING. I can send smss and e-mails but cant receive any. People who sent me mails or messages says their phones shows it was delivered.

View 5 Replies View RelatedEarlier today my Blackberry Bold 9780 (6.0 bundle 1306) stopped receiving emails. The first thing I tried was rebooting by removing the battery, but this didn't work. I was looking through some other forums and it was suggested that the facebook app might be the problem. I checked the facebook app and nothing would load, so I uninstalled it but this didn't improve anything. I also unistalled all other 3rd party applications at this point.I then saw that someone else had lost their email becuase their phone wiped their password. I tried to access my email account management to see if this had happened, but was unable to do so. Instead I got a message saying 'Your device had a problem connecting to the server'.
The next thing I tried was the t-mobile BIS site. I accessed this via my computer and it said I needed to be on my hand held device. I tried to access the device's browser and it couldn't connect. I get the message "Unable to connect to the Internet, please try again later. If the problem persists please contact your service provider."At some point after I was aware that I'd stopped receiving emails I went on the web to see if this was working, and it was.
