my phone erased my email and contacts yesterday, and when i was trying to re-set up my emails (outlook and yahoo) it keeps telling me that i have to register my phone. i have done the register now on the host routing table, and i still cannot set up my emails. can someone please tell me how to set up my emails, i had these email services on my phone and now my phone will not let me set up any email.

If I'm on my PC and I compose a message to the same email address I'm writing from, which is connected with my BIS, the email doesn't appear on my BB ever.In Gmail, I have forwarding disabled but POP enabled.

A color coding system would be ideal, where messages from one email would be a different color or something.

View 7 Replies View RelatedI keep getting OLD emails on my BB since this morning. I have hotmail and gmail two email accounts registered on the BB. The old emails I keep getting are from my hotmail account only. Some emails went as far back as 2007! I wonder if this has something to do with the BB server.
I also noticed that my BB stopped synchronising with my hotmail acc anymore since I'd upgraded to 9700 from 9000. For example, the emails in my hotmail acc used to get deleted when I choose delete "on mailbox and handheld" on my 9000, but this doesn't work on the 9700 anymore. I have to log on to my hotmail acc from my PC to delete read emails. what's wrong with my BB?
Have only had the phone a few months and all I do so far is talk, text and email. I have the software on my computer but have never used it. I'm sorry if this has been posted already but I don't have time to wade through the threads. I have to leave the computer right now but will be back in a couple of hours.

I receive a number of legitimate business emails through MS Outlook on my laptop, although some may incorrectly come through labelled "bulk" in Outlook (i.e. an email sent from someone I know just to me). These same emails do not come through on my BB. My BB does otherwise receive emails. how to correct so I receive all emails on my BB. I am not on a BES.

I spoke to Tech support, they say everything is ok on their side. I took my phone back, the tech at the MTN shop checked, corrected my centre number.
Still NOTHING. I can send smss and e-mails but cant receive any. People who sent me mails or messages says their phones shows it was delivered.

View 5 Replies View RelatedEarlier today my Blackberry Bold 9780 (6.0 bundle 1306) stopped receiving emails. The first thing I tried was rebooting by removing the battery, but this didn't work. I was looking through some other forums and it was suggested that the facebook app might be the problem. I checked the facebook app and nothing would load, so I uninstalled it but this didn't improve anything. I also unistalled all other 3rd party applications at this point.I then saw that someone else had lost their email becuase their phone wiped their password. I tried to access my email account management to see if this had happened, but was unable to do so. Instead I got a message saying 'Your device had a problem connecting to the server'.
The next thing I tried was the t-mobile BIS site. I accessed this via my computer and it said I needed to be on my hand held device. I tried to access the device's browser and it couldn't connect. I get the message "Unable to connect to the Internet, please try again later. If the problem persists please contact your service provider."At some point after I was aware that I'd stopped receiving emails I went on the web to see if this was working, and it was. Unfortunately, I not sure if this was before or after the cull of apps. I also tried update the software for this device, but it told me it was up to date
I have the Blackberry Bold 9930 with Verizon - love the phone, but the emails often don't go through the first time and I have to hit resend once, twice or three times. This doesn't happen every time, but at least 3 or 4 times a day. Is this a known problem with Blackberry or do I have to contact Verizon? Nothing has changed since I bought this new phone, such as where I use it, the carrier, etc. I have pulled the battery numerous times to see if that solved the problem, but it continues to happen regularly.

All I can see in my messages folder is a duplication of my text messages? Which I already have in my text messages folder. There is no pattern to those I receive and those I don't.i have changed no settings on my phone and everything was normal 7-10 days ago. Yahoo initially told me to remove the Yahoo account on my phone, re-boot and then re-load the account. All emails I sent from my device to another email address arrive immediately, in fact, I receive emails sent from another address to my Gmail (my BB). However, emails I sent to my own address do not arrive in my BlackBerry Bold device. I oftenly send emails with shortcut links to myself, but this issue (or if it is an issue) is really niggling me.
