BB Bold 9700 :: Opening Emails - Takes To The Previous Email
Jan 2, 2010Earlier today, my BB started doing something weird. When I get a new email, I highlight it and press the trackball to open it, but it opens the previously received email instead. If I hit the back button (taking me back to the email list) and then hit the new email again, it still takes me to the previous email. The only way to open the new email is to scroll up to the date and then back to the email, which will then open the correct one.
Also, if the new email is highlighted and I delete it, it deletes the previous email instead.
I've tried a battery pull and it doesn't help. I'm on a TMO 9700 running OS .330.

Apr 13, 2012Each time I try to back up my Bold 9900 it takes forever and sometimes back up is completed with errors. I guess I'm doing something wrong. I upgraded to software 7.1 and I'm using Desktop software 7.0 now. It is the back up of RMS Databases record that takes a whole day to complete.

Apr 14, 2010Running 5.0.0.344 and I haven't found many glitches or faults in it if any. The only thing that hampers productivity is that my wi-fi takes about 2-3 minutes each time to connect regardless how close I am to the router. With the 8900, it would be literally 5 seconds for the wifi button to light up and be connected. Anyone can shed some light on this?

Jan 6, 2012I have a Bold 9700 and I just upgraded my OS a few days ago. Ever since then my phone takes a really long time to charge or shows the sign that it's charging but it is not. Only when I put through the USB cable to the computer that it charges normally. I don't know what the problem is? If its charging normally through the USB then I guess the battery is functioning fine, right? so what is happening?

May 10, 2010I had something happen to my Bold yesterday and last night I noticed that all my pictures in the Media folder were gone and now my camera can take a picture but that is all. I can save or send and it says my SD card is like not there. I can save a picture if someone sends me on in a text message and it asks where i want to save them and it will take me there but I can access them after that unless I save another picture from another person

I keep getting stuck at the point where I'm being asked to download the latest version of appworld....then it takes forever and then what's downloaded has no name...just a version number. Last night is just sat there "downloading" - I left it overnight and it was still "downloading" in the morning!

If I'm on my PC and I compose a message to the same email address I'm writing from, which is connected with my BIS, the email doesn't appear on my BB ever.In Gmail, I have forwarding disabled but POP enabled.

May 11, 2010Need some help, recently just bought a Bold 9700 and it was doing fine i.e. browsing, instant message (IM) and emails, but problems surface recently my phone went thru a software upgrade.Problem: device takes longer to register to BIS even though the network sservice status showed "BIS connected via mobile network", I cannot browse, IM or even email...
- I tried to register all the numbers in my HRT but not able to recieve the registration email, only after almost 30mins or so...
- also i realised i have many items in my HRT containing GPRS SG... and Wi-Fi... is this normal?

Mar 17, 2010Soo I could only find out how to do this on older phones (the options must have changed), but I have 2 gmail accounts set up on my Bold and I want to be able to differentiate emails from them without scolling up after I open the message. A color coding system would be ideal, where messages from one email would be a different color or something.

Feb 6, 2010I keep getting OLD emails on my BB since this morning. I have hotmail and gmail two email accounts registered on the BB. The old emails I keep getting are from my hotmail account only. Some emails went as far back as 2007! I wonder if this has something to do with the BB server.
I also noticed that my BB stopped synchronising with my hotmail acc anymore since I'd upgraded to 9700 from 9000. For example, the emails in my hotmail acc used to get deleted when I choose delete "on mailbox and handheld" on my 9000, but this doesn't work on the 9700 anymore. I have to log on to my hotmail acc from my PC to delete read emails. what's wrong with my BB?

I receive a number of legitimate business emails through MS Outlook on my laptop, although some may incorrectly come through labelled "bulk" in Outlook (i.e. an email sent from someone I know just to me). Jul 19, 2012I had this problem with my previous BB and thought the software crashed. Upon upgrading to a Bold 790 I still have this problem. I spoke to Tech support, they say everything is ok on their side. I took my phone back, the tech at the MTN shop checked, corrected my centre number.
Still NOTHING. I can send smss and e-mails but cant receive any. People who sent me mails or messages says their phones shows it was delivered.

Oct 10, 2011Earlier today my Blackberry Bold 9780 (6.0 bundle 1306) stopped receiving emails. The first thing I tried was rebooting by removing the battery, but this didn't work. I was looking through some other forums and it was suggested that the facebook app might be the problem. I checked the facebook app and nothing would load, so I uninstalled it but this didn't improve anything. I also unistalled all other 3rd party applications at this point.I then saw that someone else had lost their email becuase their phone wiped their password. I tried to access my email account management to see if this had happened, but was unable to do so. Instead I got a message saying 'Your device had a problem connecting to the server'.
The next thing I tried was the t-mobile BIS site. I accessed this via my computer and it said I needed to be on my hand held device. I tried to access the device's browser and it couldn't connect. I get the message "Unable to connect to the Internet, please try again later. If the problem persists please contact your service provider."At some point after I was aware that I'd stopped receiving emails I went on the web to see if this was working, and it was. Unfortunately, I not sure if this was before or after the cull of apps. I also tried update the software for this device, but it told me it was up to date
BB Bold :: 9930 Emails Not Being Sent Often?
Oct 28, 2011I have the Blackberry Bold 9930 with Verizon - love the phone, but the emails often don't go through the first time and I have to hit resend once, twice or three times. This doesn't happen every time, but at least 3 or 4 times a day. Is this a known problem with Blackberry or do I have to contact Verizon? Nothing has changed since I bought this new phone, such as where I use it, the carrier, etc. I have pulled the battery numerous times to see if that solved the problem, but it continues to happen regularly.

There is no pattern to those I receive and those I don't.i have changed no settings on my phone and everything was normal 7-10 days ago.
