Aug 17, 2010My E71 has died a slow and painful death.Now I've read elsewhere on this forum that the E71 does not support charging via the onboard USB port however:
- My E71 is absolutely dead flat out of battery;
- My E71 is refusing to charge due to some inherant damage to both power charger and charging circuit (because it still won't charge on my Husband's charger);
- I have some very important information stored on the phone memory (not SD card) that I need to access and have no real way of doing so; and
- I have recently done a backup of the phone, but won't allow me to access the file without the phone connected.

Apr 7, 2010Like all users of N97 I have a serious problem with the phone memory (C) being full To correct it, I have been using for quite some time (more than 6 months) the E: memory for messages and emails. However, every now and then, without any reason, I get the message that the phone is unable to use the selected memory (E) and it goes back to C. The problems are multiple:
1. It doesn't let me choose the memory I'd like to use, when this appears, and it does this when a new message comes, which is directly stored in C - no options given.
2. Following this, half the messages are stored in one memory and half in the other and (of course) they cannot be moved from the one to the other.........

Aug 23, 2012After updating the 9930 to software 7.1 when the phone reboots using the option in App World after installing an app, I notice the phone cannot access the files stored on the memory card using a software reboot.Only by doing a battery pull does the phone recognise the media card contents and then I can access it. Therefore everytime I install an app I have to do a battery pull to restart the phone as the restart option from the App World in the phone makes the files on the media card not to be seen.This bug was not present before I did the upgrade to 7.1 bundle 1737?

Sep 17, 2012Basically I can't access my emails - the star/asterisk sign shows up on the menu to show that new messages have come in (and I know they have because I can see them on my laptop) but when I click any of the email icons (the general 'Messages' one, or the two separate email accounts I have) they just take me to text messages rather than email messages.

When I receive a new email I go to click into the message but when its loaded it from a previous email and not the email I am trying to access. Then if I know I do not want to open the email and just delete when I click to delete it deletes a previously saved email or bbm message.

Feb 19, 2012my mom gave me her blackberry tour when she upgraded and I had it unlocked.so I could use it for my move to Dubai.In Canada, I was able to use voice, SMS, access email and BBM via FIDO.I could not see any internet icon so I didn't have any data plans.It was all pre-paid.I had a TOUR from work previously and was able to access voice, SMS, internet, BBM....is this the difference between blackberry enterprise (which I assume is available only for businesses) vs the Blackberry Services (Email or Social Networking) for personal use? When I moved to Dubai, I pulled the FIDO sim card and obtained a du sim card (yes "du").I then paid for and activated my blackberry services (email / BBM) however when I tried to set up my email account, I got a "Your device had a problem connecting to the server" error.I tried pulling the battery, registering through Advanced Option, Host Routing, registering online at du.blackberry.com and when I try to register there, I get the message that says my device cannot be registered and to try and register through advanced options and if that doesn't work contact my wireless provider.
Someone from their technical support got back to me and said that my blackberry service is associated with my previous wireless provider (FIDO) and that I had to call FIDO to get the PIN released.I did that and FIDO said it was released.I've tried repeating the previous steps for registering / setting up email and I'm still getting the same errors. Initially when I got the du sim card, they activated a blackberry social account for me and this was not what I wanted so they deactivated it.I wonder if somehow my device is actually registered with du, but on the wrong plan.so this is why I can't access the email / bbm service.

May 25, 2012I have two email accounts set up on by Curve 9360. When I click on either email icon now I just get access to my txt messages! I'm still receiving emails which I can open and reply to but when I close them I can't access them again and they disappear.

I have tried a hard boot many times, also tried "registering the network" and got to "sending service books" and couldn't get passed the "e-mail accounts setup" because it says "your device had a problem connecting to the server".
BB Curve :: Unable To Access Anything (sms, Emails, Internet)
Sep 12, 2011i recently downloaded an app and today i deleted it, it then rebooted. when it restarted it came up on the screen " uncaught exception: application net_ rim_bb_ messaging_app(60) is not responding; process terminated " and give me the option to press ok but wont do anything . the screen has frozen and i have emails and messages and it wont let me into them. There is also a new envolope box in between the where you recieve your emails and messages and it has a yellow envolope at the bottom of that. i've tried taken out the battery and restarting it but it does the same thing. it will let me in to everything but the things i need internet for as well

Aug 7, 2011When I click on any email icon and the Text icon nothing happens. Whereas in the past (like even early this afternoon) I would be able to see emails or texts - or if no email or texts it would say 'No messages' - I cannot open either emails or text and therefore cannot create, read, or anything else. The scroll button is inop after clicking on email or text and I must it the exit button to regain control of the scroll button.

Jun 25, 2010My E63 crashed after a software update last night. I seem to have recovered most stuff, but now can't access my emails from the Active Home Screen. It shows that new emails have arrived, but when I click on the icon - nothing happens. Just stays on the home screen. I can access emails by going Menu-Installations-email, but this is a bit of a faff!
Any ideas? I'm using the Nokia Messaging email for my Hotmail account. It all went smoothly for the last year....
BB Bold 9000 :: Mail Server Settings To Access BIS Emails On PC / MEID ESN Number
Jun 1, 2010I am having trouble with some things that I havent been able to figure out by now and this is my last resort where to find answers. This issue is really bugging me. After literally spending two weeks with my service provider telephoning most time waiting in witing for a call center agent to get connected to and being each time transferred to another division to a last being transferred to the divission where I first started at speak meoving in a cricle and no one being able to help me and this whole theater every day the same for two weeks, I am turning now to the people here hoping I could find some answers
1) My provider in Switzerland is sunrise (BIS), so I went on to the website sunrise.blackberry.com and entered my existing accounts, 4 of them. Additionaly I registered a new blackberry email address to be able to use the true push service which is xx@sunrise.blackberry.com (xx being just a placeholder for my real name). The problem is though that I haven't been able to find out the mail settings I have to enter into my Mail Programm on my PC so I can access the emails on my computer. I dont know if it's a pop server, an IMAP server and not to speak of the mail settings of the server settings for incoming and outgoing email. Since it's actually a BlackBerry server I figured that the servers are BB managed (no one at Sunrise Switzerland even knew what BIS is or that you could receive PUSH mail with the Blackberry email).
2) I tried to register a new email address at https://bis.na.blackberry.com/html for a direct xx@blackberry.com email address thinking that maybe with this, it would easier to find infos about the settings. The problem here is that I have to enter my PIN (no problem) and ESN/MEID number. The Problem is that I haven't been able to find those numbers now mather how hard I tried; they are not even listed in options>status.

Mar 31, 2010I'm unable to read individual emails when using the Outlook Web Access site in the internet browser window.I am using this to check work email and would rather do it this way (over the internet) than using the e-mail client that is part of the device. I'm able to log-in to my inbox and see everything I should see, however when I try clicking on an individual email to read it, nothing happens. I've tried clicking on the sender's name, the subject line and everything else on the line for that email. When I do that nothing happens.Am I doing this wrong? Is there somewhere else I'm suppose to click? Is there possibly some setting that needs to be turned on or maybe one that is on that should be unchecked?Any help would really, really be appreciated.
