BB Bold :: 9780 Texting Has Disappeared?
Jul 25, 2012I have a 9780 and my texting app is completely gone. This is the third time it's happened, I'll turn my phone off and when I turn it back on my texting is gone. I've done a universal search on my phone for my texting and there were no results. I can still get texts through my messages folder, but my phone doesn't vibrate and it doesn't flash red. It usually lasts for about a month and then I'll randomly turn my phone off and when I turn it back on my texting will be back.
This is absolutely outrageous and incovenient, seeing as I use texting more than BBM or any other means of communication.I've talked to my service provider, they've told me that the only way I'd get it back is a security wipe, which is also inconvenient and poses the risk of just losing my texting again in another month- in addition to losing all of my bbm contacts (I realize I can back them up but they would have to readd me in their phones), and content.

When I delete emails on my BB, I noticed that the emails get downloaded again when I access my Mac Mail. Likewise, when I've deleted emails from my mac, they get downloaded again on my BB. How can I configure my BB and mac in such a way that the emails will not get downloaded from the server again after deleting?

May 30, 2010So with my 8530 ill be texting my friend and then ill go to type my message and when i enter it sometimes it doesnt show up, and then sometimes if i try to scroll up to see the earlier messages and then try to scroll back down, it wont let me scroll all the way back down, so then i click back and then try to go into that chat with the person and it wont even let me in, and if it does it takes forever. tried a battery pull.

Sep 12, 2012My blackberry bold has been giving me issues it wont let me scroll down on anything like for example on the main menu were I have my icons it wont let me go to the lower ones I can see the name of the icon but not were IM at on the browser it does it as well I can only see the beginning of the page it wont let me scroll down with the tracpad or the touchscreen

May 22, 2010Is it my imagination, or was I able to scroll between Days when in Day view? I am sure I used to be able to do this without having to first go to the top row. I seem to remember that if I was looking at a 10am appointment on any day I could scroll sideways to check out the same time frame on subsequent or previouse days. With .593 I seem to have to scroll up to the top row showing days to be able to move days and then back down to the relevant time slot.Either I am imagining it or this facility is not in recent OS builds?

As far as I know, on other blackberry device that i had in the past, the storm, tour, curve, the music would keep on going and I would be happy with it.
