Well for some reason everytime i receive i text message from a friend or some random person, my music stops. As far as I know, on other blackberry device that i had in the past, the storm, tour, curve, the music would keep on going and I would be happy with it. Now since it stops every time, i have to go back to the music player and play it again.
View 8 RepliesI have an Mac running the Tiger OSX operating system. Because this is an older OS, the BlackBerry Desktop Manager software will not run on my computer. So far, I refuse to pay $170 to upgrade my computer just to run the Blackberry software. Instead, I manually drag my music files from iTunes onto my phone and then organize them later. My problem is as follows:Only some of the music appears on my phone, while much of it does not. At first, I thought this was a DRM issue with iTunes, but some of my downloaded iTunes music does appear and is playable on my BlackBerry.Regardless of how little music appears in my phone's media folder, my BlackBerry memory reflects that I uploaded the FULL amount of my music!Now, the latest problem. When I connect my phone to my Mac and try to delete all the files, they completely disappear from the phone and I still have a massive amount of occupied memory!Failed resolution attempts include: Restarting BlackBerry, battery pull, searching all over my phone's folders via my Mac looking for lost files (none found).
View 8 Replies View Relatedi've just upgraded to the blackberry 9700 from a nokia n958gb but texting is not as easy i liked to move down a line or two sometimes when txting but on this phone if i move down it sends the text i know that there is a setting on the storm 2 for you to change the setting of the return key but i dont have that setting on this does anyone know how to do this or am i stuck with what i have at the moment

The sync works between the two devises however it does not recognize the loads of contacts that are on my blackberry devise. I have tried all of the options on the advanced sync option to try toget outlook to download the contact from the Blackberry 9700. How do I get these two to synchronize?

I had a curve 8310 on o2 and moved to a bold 9700 still on o2.When i moved i used the desktop manager and did the device switch over, all went well including bbm etc.However whenever i tried to send an email i recieved the error message 'transaction error failure at service' - I tried to log into my bis account online to update my pin but i couldnt log on! i havent changed the password or username since my old blackberry so i cant log on to change it online. on my blackberry when i try to log on to email settings it says the username field is blank!
i called o2 they put me through to geek squad and wanted to charge me to help!!! I havent had the phone 2 weeks yet.Now i think that i need to call o2 again and ask them something like releasing my old pin maybe from my bis account or resetting the bis account,any ideas what i should do or the type of questions i need to ask o2 if i have to ring them again.
I'm trying to get music onto my bb bold 9700 and each time I try, it tells me that I need to switch my mass storage mode on. I've checked in Options / Memory and it is already switched on, so I don't know what the problem is.Can anyone suggest what else the problem could be to prevent me from downloading music if the settings are already ok?
i send about 100-150 text messages a day. And thats about all i use my phone for. i have an iPod Touch for music video, wifi, etc I live in a small town and not sure if we even have 3G but they do work. So how long would my battery last? I would like a whole 2 days but you know. And my other question is can it be charging and on vibrate only, at the same time. Make no sound but still vibrate because my phone now doesnt do that and it is really annoying

Stays at 'connecting', 'waiting for device to start' then says it was disconnected.With the PC. It won't recognize the pin. Its set to usb port. Is there any kind of way to have my music playing in the background while I'm playing a game, without it stopping everytime I start over?? I don't think I ever listened to muisc the past while gaming; if I did, I don't remember. I've tried putting my phone on Vibrate and even Silent, but it still cuts off. Unsupported media type: jad
if I click yes, it just downloads a very small file and won't let me open it -- its not the full .JAD file anyway, only about 3kb. But what could be wrong?
