Why is it when im typing in either sms or BBM I keep getting random full stops appearing within the text?This just makes the following letter a capital letter and the text looks awful. I have tried changing between predictive and standard input but it makes no difference at all.
View 7 RepliesMy one year old phone was sitting on my table half charged on stand by mode. Half an hour later I tried to check something but phone won't turn on anymore. No red light or anything.. Tried plugging the phone to a wall charger with and without battery for extensive amounts of time. Tried hardware button combos for resetting the phone but nothing works.. Phone just does not power on. Checked the google results and I've seen lots of posts about simmilar issues but without a solution. What's going on, did $600 I payed got wasted? Is there any solution to this, is it hardware or software issue? I wanted to post here on official forums.

View 1 Replies View RelatedMy Blackberry randomly stops responding on different applications, and then i have to hold the menu button and switch to a different application, and i won't be able to use the un-responsive application until the blackberry is given a hard reset. Also during this time, my BBM will mess up, It won't show me peoples display pictures, it will show that their there when im in a conversation or over their name, but as soon as i go onto their profile or enlarge their image it will freeze, it will not let me send or recieve BBM messages during this 'phase' either, I've tried reloading the OS but that won't work either for some reason.

View 1 Replies View Relatedi have a blackberry bold 9700 v 5.0.0.862 ( bundle 1446, platform 5.1.0.175 I fully charged my battery monday night, unplugged it before going to sleep.When i woke up the phone was turned off, when i turned on i got a white screen with a battery with a red line through it but no blackberry loading screen.I didn't know what was wrong so i plugged phone in to charge a bit. when there was no change i unplugged it and held the power button. After many many many attempts to turn it back on finally i got the BB loading screen.The battery had full power when I finally got it turned back on.I used the phone throughout the day but come suppertime the battery was still full so i went to a friends. Halfway through dinner the phone displayed " BATTERY DRAINED TURNING OFF HANDHELD " .
Got home plugged in, turned back on and battery was 50%. I charged it to 100% and unplugged it before going to sleep. Woke up this morning to ringing phone i answered it had the chance to say hello then it displayed " BATTERY DRAINED TURNING OFF HANDHELD " !!! Went to turn back on got the battery screen again , finally after an hour or more of trying to turn back on it finally loaded and guess what?? THE BATTERY IS SITTING AT 100%!!I don't know what's going on but my phone keeps saying the battery is drained and the phone turns off but the battery is still full.
1)when you receive a text, can you tell how many other people that text was simultaneously sent to, just like u can tell on the regular non-smartphones and non-PDAs?
2) Can you setup stored quick reply text messages on the Storm2?
3) Can you lock text messages to save them?
My Blackberry Bold 9900 is not turning on.Details: A battery pull has not fixed my problem.I tried using another 9900 battery, however it did not work.My battery does not work on other 9900 devices.There are no signs of moisture, nor has there been contact with water.The LED light doesn't show, nor does anything on the screen.

View 4 Replies View RelatedI have a 9780 and my texting app is completely gone. This is the third time it's happened, I'll turn my phone off and when I turn it back on my texting is gone. I've done a universal search on my phone for my texting and there were no results. I can still get texts through my messages folder, but my phone doesn't vibrate and it doesn't flash red. It usually lasts for about a month and then I'll randomly turn my phone off and when I turn it back on my texting will be back.
This is absolutely outrageous and incovenient, seeing as I use texting more than BBM or any other means of communication.I've talked to my service provider, they've told me that the only way I'd get it back is a security wipe, which is also inconvenient and poses the risk of just losing my texting again in another month- in addition to losing all of my bbm contacts (I realize I can back them up but they would have to readd me in their phones), and content.
Well for some reason everytime i receive i text message from a friend or some random person, my music stops. As far as I know, on other blackberry device that i had in the past, the storm, tour, curve, the music would keep on going and I would be happy with it. Now since it stops every time, i have to go back to the music player and play it again.

For some reason, I am able to connect to WiFi, but when I do I am only able to use the internet. I am not able to use the WiFi to make calls or to send texts. My T-Mobile signal is pretty weak, so it would be nice to use the WiFi to make calls and send texts from home and work.

I couldnt recall since when it has been like this. the LED only flashes once for every call, or incoming new messages. ive checked the LED settings turned to ON, and also used the TRY IT option in the settings, same, it only flashed once. the LED coverage indicator also had been turned on, and it only flashed once, eventhough the network is on full coverage.
