I wiped my BB earlier today in order to disconnnect it from my former employer's BES (I own the BB) per the instructions from their IT staff. I was successfully able to restore all of my contact info, apps, etc., but have not been able to fully restore my personal emails (I can send from my BB, but can't receive any emails).

View 5 Replies View RelatedOkay I have the sm-G920P, and I used cf autoroot to root, I then installed twrp and the renegade rom. I also installed the unikernel kernel
The phone will start, display splash, Go to the "android is starting" screen, sometimes lets me choose wifi network, sometimes reboots at this point, the farthest I ever get is where it says we are preparing your services, this may take 3-4 mins. But I can never get through it all the way because the device keeps rebooting itself.
I tried flashing back the stock files from sammobile to no avail, I also went to the best buy store and had the samsung guys flash it 2x .... no luck...
I knew I shouldnt have attempted to root this phone.. Where I can find a PIT file for this model?
Sorry if this question has been asked before. How do you post a photo on Facebook as a "Wallpost" because its only giving me the option of photos going straight to my mobile photos album.
View 5 Replies View RelatedI did a security wipe on my Blackberry Bold 9900. I have managed to restore everything, however I cannot seem to set up my email address (which is a Yahoo address). I keep getting the error message that it has not been possible to connect to the server.
I have also foun a problem with my BBM, I am able to send messages, but no one can send any to me. This problem has also come about after the security wipe.
I want to wipe my device because it won't let me delete the previous email addresses that were added by the user.I got this blackberry from ebay and I dont know if i'll have problems emailing if i do a complete wipe of the device?
View 4 Replies View RelatedI cannot receive/send email after perform the security wipe and retore my back up.Below is the step I have done:
1. Perform a complete back up using Blackberry Desktop Software.
2. Perform security wipe manually on the phone via Options > Security > Security Wipe.
3. After wiped, I using Blackberry Desktop Software to restore my backed up data.
4. Starting from now, i can't send/receive emails.
I have try go to Setup > Email Accounts > click into Internet Mail Account, but it bound back to the Setup page. Then i try Message icon > Options > Email Account Management, it prompt up "Unable to open email setup application. Contact your wireless service provider" message. May I khow what happen to my blackberry?

I've searched every forums and search engine for this, but cannont pin point my exact problem...I bought a 9780 yesterday, everything was fine, i set up my emails etc... everything worked.THEN... i stupidly security waped the phone this when things changed.Once the phone came back on i re-configured my email accounts, but now when i go onto my emails i see no inbox folder or emails what was there previouslyALTHOUGH i can send and recieve emails, but these come in list format...Ive made sure and uncheak the hide folder and sent numerous service book requests (these come through...)

I security-wiped my phone just now because it's lagging a lot and I'm trying to set up my BBM. It's leading me nowhere but a message saying "Associating BBM with your Blackberry ID". View 1 Replies View Relatedeverything was fine until this morning. after syncing my bb bold 9780, they prompted me to update my blackberry system software. after i have done so, the phone did a long "reboot" and i realised after that all my email accounts are gone. and i have to set them up again.
however after i go to SETUP, i click on EMAIL ACCOUNTS and then INTERNET MAIL ACCOUNT, it goes back to the SETUP page, every single time. And when i select Exit Setup, the phone freezes. When it freezes, i will take out the battery and try again but the same thing happened every single time!
was it something to do with the software? and more importantly, can anyone tell me what i can do to set up my email accounts?
Im in South Africa, got a 9700 from Nashuamobile, using the MTN network.My contract is only beginning from 01 July.I want to setup my current email adress on the phone like it is currrently on my N95.However it seems it will not be possible without the Blackberry service been activated?
So if this is the case, then my question is that the will it be impossible to have my email working on it without the BIS or BES service? How can this be possible? I thought I have the option of taking the BIS service or not?I suppose its the same in all countries , nevermind the ISp or Carrier?
My Email Accounts Icon will not open under Setup on my Bold 9930. Neither the push-to-touch or the hot button will open this set-up Icon. All other set-up Icons work okay. I've completely removed the battery and SIM card, but the problem remains.

I go to the setup on the main screen (the phone with the green gear) and I can see under set up the little icon for Email Accounts, but when I click on it nothing opens up. I can click on other icons (i.e. Wi-Fi) and the set up screen opens for them, but not for the email accounts.
I already had an email account on my bold 9900 but recently i changed my password and now bb email wants me to go to setup and verificate my new password. The problem is that whenever i go to setup and click on email account and then Internet Mail Account nothing happened. It's not responding, and i can't do anything about my email, delate it, nor add new one.

For some reason, the email setup application initializes by it self without me clicking on it and it keeps popping up once in a while. This happened on my torch as well.

I believe the problem lies with the setup requiring OWA address, while our OWA is only internal only.With Android, all we had to do is put domain, exchange server and username. Is there hope still?
